When we last lefft off, we were approaching the next town. So far, two towns have been conquered by you and your comrades in arms.Current Strength:50 Hormigaunts (With 50 with Victor in the first town you conquered.)1 Lictor (Named Victor)1 "improved" Steak, the even more delicious former guardsman, armed with a hellgun.20 "Guardifiexs" armed with biological lasguns, each with 10 biolaspacks. (The Original Guardifex is guarding the second conquered town).1 Hormissar, armed with a bolt pistol (Which, of course, is you.)2 Genestealers.8 Genestealer Cultists.150 Termagants.900 "Food Rippers" who will produce Biomass/Sandwiches given time.1 Chimera, yet to be upgraded.12 Civilian Transports.2 Limos.500 Total Townspeople under your control, 50 of whom are skilled enough to produce the high quality sandwiches that you desire.
>>22822947I vaguely remember we wanted to do something with Genestealers in infiltrate the town.
As you approach the town, you notice a sudden difference in the same area. The road becomes much less dusty, and is more solidly formed. You seem to be approaching a more urban area, so you may encounter some resistance here.>How do you plan on entering the town?
send in genestealer cultists to scout first.
>>22823122We're heroes approaching a normal town. Stride in as if we own the place, then root out heretics/biomass/a suitable mate for Steak.
>>22823122Parade formation, With gaunts in front, followed by termagants, then us being escorted by the guardifexs. genestealers go around the side to infiltrate and do sneaky things
Wee, a new Zerg Quest(ish)!
*Reads old threads* A really, really, REALLY weird and somewhat silly one. Still, get to play as hilariously nightmarish Comityranid.Love how everyone else reacts to them like you'd expect someone running into sh*t like this would react, rather than taking part in the silliness.Crazy Awesome.
Sorry about the delay, something came up. In apology, have a picture of a Ripper who wants a hug I got my friend to draw.>>22824067>>22823410You decide it is high time you gain the respect you deserve. After an hour or so of drilling everyone into proper formation, you begin a parade formation entry upon the town. The few guardsman in the town, who were inside of the first few buildings, stare in confusion at the Tyranids who are marching orderly into the town, unable to comprehend the event occuring in front of them. When they finally see you, one of them seems to puts two and two together, and runs outside. The others scream at him to get back, calling him a variety of insults regarding his ancestors and his level of intelligence. He seems to be trying to speak to you.>What do you do?
>>22823122Find criminals and kill them
>>22824829Ask him who holds the highest rank in this town, and that we wish to speak with them. Also ask for beds for our men, and biomass for their bellies.
>>22824829Tell them to stop in the nave of the Hive Emperor of Mankind
>>22824829We answer his questions and spread our faith. Defend ourselves as neccessary. Have genestealers work at infiltrating criminal underground and conquering so we can abuse/expose it, whichever is more useful once we see the town's reaction.
>>22824829Say that we are doing the Emperor's wok.
>>22824829You tell him that any time he addresses you, the first word out of his mouth will be "Sir!" and the last will be "Hormissar, sir!"
Ask him who has the biggest hat. Then, tell them that their hat is forfeit and give it to steak. That should cheer him up
>>22824837Find criminals and sacrifice them for biomass and gaurdiffexes would surely be better
>>22824829Kill the deserter. Subjugate the town.
>>22824899>>22824955>>22825050>>22824857You decide to allow him to speak to you. As he walks up, you tell him that when he addresses you, he will begin with "Sir!" and end with "Hormissar, sir!" He addresses you, and aks, in the most serious voice, that, due to you wearing a commissar uniform, if you are the soul of a commissar who, after being eaten, took control of a Tyranid's body, and returned to fight for the Imperium,
>How do you respond?
>>22825332I serve the Hive-Emperor. Nothing else matters. Now I have a deserter to deal with.
>>22825340"No time to worry about the details soldier. Enemies are incoming, and we have to prepare if we are to survive until our reinforcements arrive.""Praise the Hive-emperor that I was able to find such a loyal guardsman as yourself. I shall name you Meat."
>>22825332We actually conquered the commissar's weak soul and are now showing him how to do his job correctly. Proceed to take full control of the town.
>>22825365This. Now ask if there's heavy support like BEHNBLAEDE or OHGRINS to assist us.
Offer to enhance them naturally
>>22825332"YOU DOUBT THE GOD-HIVE-EMPEROR'S MESSENGER?!"Point gun at his face - blam anyone that tries to run away.
>>22825365>>22825366>>22825397You confirm his belief (But you are not sure of it yourself) and warn him that you need his help securing the town. He seems happy, and runs back to tell his comrades the good news. You soon have a squad of 10 guardsmen standing in front of you. Most of them are eyeing you suspiciously.>>22825456You ask them if there is any heavy support in the area. According to them, there is an old Leman Russ somewhere in town, but it isn't in very good condition and needs to be repaired.>What do you do now?
>>22826577Give the Machine-spirit of the Russ a Symbiote.
>>22826577Assemble the Hive-Emperor's inexhaustible worker-legions (this town) to fix that shit. But first give Steak a lick for good luck, complimenting him on his new, enhanced flavor.
>>22826577Make them spread the word to the townsfolk and fellow guardsmen.
>>22826577Have the word of the Hive-Emperor spread, and infect that russ so it is a Half tank Half Nid monster of death.
>>22826577order the guardsmen and civilians to repair the leeman russ
>>22827037>>22826637If they could fix it I think they would've by now
>>22827025But she's clearly paying for them...
>>22827053maybe, but it could be that they just lack motivation, or some of the civilians know how to.
>>22827077The money is fake
>>22827053But we come bearing new, revolutionary technology! We just use their bodies to fill in the parts that are missing! Genius!Okay, not really new, Chaos also had that idea.Still, they proved that it's a sound concept!
>>22826975>>22826744>>22826637>>22826604>>22827037You do not have the biomass to give life to the tank!Instead, you order some of your guardifexes to begin repairing the tank. They salute you and run off. In the meanwhile, you order the rest to begin preaching the words of the Hive-Emperor to the rest of the town. They salute and run off. Their lack of personality is starting to get to you.The whole time, the squad of guardsmen are still still standing at attention in front of you.>What do you do now?
Tell them of the glory of the Hive-Emperor and inform them it's time for their implantation ceremony.
>>22827652>>22827741 Tell the hormagaunts to pin them down and proceed.
>>22827741>>22827773In favor of this - all will be blessed by the Hive-Emperor's flesh, one way or the other.
>>22827870We take no pleasure in doing what must be done. It is a just and noble procedure they should not be afraid but instead embrace it.
>>22827741>>22827773You tell them that of the truth of the Hive-Emperor. Immediately, 7 of them scramble for their weapons, but are pinned down by hormagaunts. You tell them that it is time for them to join with Him, and be part of Him. >You have now gained 10 "Guardifexes" but have lost 10 Hormagaunts.>What now?
>>22829407bitchin', now that everyone is here let's get hackin' up homebrew for only wars.i'm considering that species be different specialties,So guardsman specs being:Termagant (this inclides any ranged variants, so spikerifles, spine fists and whatnot. weapon specialict aanalogue)Hormagaunt (fast shock trooper?)Maybe genestealers here? And then support specialistsLictors (fucking tankytastic stealth specialists, no comrades and absolutely brutal in their effective range)Symboted human (beefsteaks. Social folks, Techpriest analogues only instead of implants gain biomorph upgrades?)obviously need a lot of work and help with this
>>22830505I like the idea of the Symbiotic Humans being techpriest analogues, but I think that the genestealers would be the shock trooper, not the hormogaunt. I have no idea for what the hormagaunt would be, besides expendable. Maybe they are what players use as comrades? Besides having a Hormissar, of course. Other than that, sounds like a good base idea.
>>22831302how will larger critters be handled?
>>22831516Anything larger than a warrior I would just count as a vehicle in some way, controlled by the Nid PC's synapse or some such. I don't know too many Nid units so I don't know what has a strong synapse.
>>22829407Strengthen our hold on the town. Have termagants in high places to support our hormagaunts and guardifexs as they go door to door to gather all those who oppose the hive-emperor. Give them the ultimadum of being broken down into biomass or being turned into a guardifex. If we run out of hormogaunts for the fusion, use termagants to get guardifexs with built-in weapons. See if we can find loyal humans to join our cause without transformation to act as inbetween men for future negotiations. Find Steak a worthy mate so we may further spread the tasty gene.
Yeah, trying to run this right in the middle of exams wasn't really the best of ideas. Sorry guys, try and keep this thread alive and I'll continue this tomorrow, and hopefully actually get somewhere.
>>22831720Let's see what else. Replace Homeworld with Hive fleet?Commander with Local Aspect?Switch training doctrines to memories, Equipment doctrines with biomorphs.let memories and biomorphs be chosen on a pc by pc basis?
AND THEN COMES DOWN THE FURY OF A THOUSAND ANGELS.Each screaming "FOR SANGUINIUS!" as they make their descent, landraiders, assault marines, and all.Three companies, 300 men strong, in addition to 5 stormraven gunships with flamer sponsoons, and 9 land raider crusaders. What do YOU do?-Commander Dante
>>22832386All sounds good except for PC by PC basis. the training doctrine could be instincts instead of memories, and could still extend over everything. Perhaps this Hive Fleet is well known for how good of shots all of their units are, or how hard they are to completely root out of an area. Equipment doctrines I'm a bit unsure of. Letting all PCs have their own seem a bit much.
>>22832571well it's personal instincts and biomorphs.no regimental gear options, their actual gear would be contained in the specialist gear zone.probably eliminate regimental gear entirely, but wondering what to do for the Symbioted humans.
>>22832682I could see symbioted humans being a jack-of-all-trades that could use equipment from any of the specializations, perhaps after taking a talent for that specific nid species. They get to choose one off the bat and then can get others later if they want. Instinct to me seems like more of an overarching idea than a specific person or animal. I think of it that is more of common for a species, or for the whole fleet. So have PCs choose their instinct, and then any creature they encounter that is the same species would have the same instincts. That way PCs can choose their instincts while still allowing it to be an overarching idea.
>>22832545I obviously aid these angels of death in cleansing heretics in the name of the Hive-Emperor
>>22832881going home from work, be back in thirty, goahead and tell me more.
>>22832881back, elaborate, please, i'm kinda low on ideas for biomorphs and instincts.hell, throw in hive fleet and local aspect ideas too.
>>22833702How do you figure insanity/taint would get implemented? How far your own will begins to diverge from the GLORIOUS HIVE EMPEROR?
>>22833041If a player chose the instinct "sharpshooter" then the player would get the bonuses that come with it, but then also if some npcs of the same species appear as part of the same fleet, they would be unusually accurate. Or if a hormogaunt PC took survival, then all hormogaunts encountered from that fleet would also be talented survivors. If multiple players have the same race and want different instincts, make them compromise somehow. There would be quite a bit of change in acquisitions, seeings as there is no longer a shitty logistics system, as all is controlled by the Hive Mind and by the reclamation pools.
>>22833807mhh, and if two players are termagants? i figure such a thing would be locked into the player's followers/comrades/horde>>22833758i actually think the hive-emps as a corruption of the hivemind. something broken off or changed. So as someone builds up insanity or corruption they lose more and more free will. >fuckin' capcha: ctedolu archdeaconry
>>22833702Some kind of helium/hydrogen gas implant to let them float at some points, tentacles, perhaps feeder tendrils for bonus intimidation maybe let them gain back wounds with a successful feeding, minor synapse powers to buff nearby allies, maybe toxic sacs or denser muscle, tougher bones, pheromones, bonus limbs, built in bio-weapons?Instincts could be survival oriented, ambush oriented, extra-agressive, extra alertness.I've nothing on Hive-TypesLocal aspects could be perhaps they developed more chitin, making them tougher, or there are more large Nids with this group, or this part is meant to be an advanced force, is more agile, more sneaky. Maybe they are a winged strain, raiding this sector in preperation for the final assault, or use smaller Nids more often to swarm over all sorts of opposition. >>22833758I think that the more corrupted you get, the more the Hive Mind takes full control back, so it would build into you becoming just another mindless mook. >>22833955If the two players refuse to agree on an instinct, then I guess having it stick with their horde works, if were going to be giving them control over their own strains. Seems like a cool idea actually.
>>22834191oh shit, right, i wanted rippers as a guardie spec.those'll be interesting.
Well, lesse, i'm pretty shit at this, but here goes an attempt at the Termagant. I don't really know the standards for creating specialties. Once more, suggestions or comments are appreciated.Termagant (Guardsman)Starting Aptitudes, Talents and Modifiers:Characteristic Bonus: +5 Ballistic Skill. +10 agi, -10 int, +10 per, -10 felStarting Aptitudes: Agility, Ballistic Skill, Defence, Fieldcraft, Finesse, Perception.Starting Skills: Athletics, Survival(based off per) or Awareness, Stealth or Dodge.Starting Talents: Leap up or quick draw, Heightened Senses (Sight or Hearing), Combat Sense or Lightning reflexesStarting Traits: Dark Sight, Natural Armour (Chitinous Carapace), Improved Natural Weapons (Teeth and Claws), Instinctive Behaviour (Lurk), Tyranid.Specialist Equipment: Chitin (natural armor 2), Claws and teeth (non-primitive natural weapon), Fleshborer or Spinefists or spike rifle or strangleweb or devourerStarting Wounds: 6+1d5Comrade Advances: SOME SHIT. i think one is TERVIGON AND REINFORCEMENTS. ideas for more would be great. maybe the other is bodies to sacrifice. force comrades to take hits for you?
bump to keep thread alive before i sleep
>>22836788>>22835988>two 88 dubs in a rowshitty way to bump but oh well
We also need a priest-equivalent that preaches the holy word of the Hive-Emperor to the masses, swaying them to our cause with the aid of gaunt-swarms.
How about Zoanthrope types? We could try and make psyker hybrids by implanting...
>>22838177The priest could be a genestealer hybrid, one of F3 or F4 stages.
The thread shall not die!
Ask for some grox pepperoni pizza to eat. So you can be cuhrayzee.
WE MUST NOT FAIL THE HORMISSAR! Keep the thread alive!
Lets get some actual discussion on our plans so we are ready for the glorious Hormissar's return. >>22832185 is a bunch of suggestions, see what ones are good or bad so we can be ready to jump in whence he returns.
>>22841247Perhaps we could take a quarter of the towns population and send them out to preach the GLORY OF THE HIVE-EMPEROR! Perhaps we could hold a (Insert Town Name Here) Got Talent to see who is the best preacher
>>22841292I like the talent contest idea, but we should probably make sure the people are actually loyal and aren't going to betray us before sending them out.
Updated the wiki.
>>22841462I have awoken. No comments on the termagant specialty?
>>22841560It looks alright to me, but I can't really think of any good comrade advances. Would your comrade be another of the same species? a small swarm of the same species in place of a comrade?
>>22841462Thanks, Wikifag. Also, where did the guy playing 'as Steak' go?Like the Hormissar himself, I thought he was a nice touch to the game.
>>22841720I wonder indeed where Steak went. Maybe he missed this page. Also, we now have Steak and Meat. Although Meat is now a Guardifex...
>>22842001Did we end up guardifex-ing Steak's drunk ginger?
>>22842217No, I believe we simply left her as is. Possibly to ensure that Steak is more usefull. He seems oddly emotional.
>>22842256We should try symbioting her. Name her Kerri. Or Taters.Steak and Taters, a most delicious pairing.
>>22842398Yes, maybe we do that. I think we should ask Steak what he wants. However, since we improved our symbionics, we now have 10 guardifexes who still retain their own mind. So Meat has his own mind! Glorious! I say he will become second in command to Steak.
>>22842398Taters. Then we begin work on making the governing class of the Hive-Emperor's newly claimed lands with these free-willed symbiotes [even though the new ones have intelligence they seem so bland] and make Taters Steak's second in command while we use them as the basis for said sybiotes, making them out of their DNA! GENIUS!
>>22842483>>22842398I have the best idea ever!Right, because Steak is ofcourse so tasty, the perfect mate for Steak has to be equally tasty. So here is what we do:We take a part of Steak his body (maybe an arm bone, a toe or a rib?), and use biomass to craft from that the perfect mate!Tasty Tasty Steak.
>>22842538Or take a piece of Steak and implant it in the redhead. Because why the fuck not.
>>22842566We implant his dick. But I do like the implanting idea. as long as the end result is >>22842217
>>22842483>>22842538>>22842566>>22842594>>22842613I like all of these ideas...But seeing as Steak has been such a loyal subject of the Hive-Emperor, perhaps we should inform him of our intent first?
>>22842631Damn Guardsman that's a pretty good joke.
>>22842631Inform? Of course.Require his consent? NONSENSE!
>>22842651I made a joke?
>>22842651These gaurdifexes are getting better every time! Now they crack jokes! We should do this: >>22841292We need to try and inflitrate the hive, hives are horribke to storm
>>22842217... the only time I've ever had a good thought about Unitology, I think. But yes. Inform Steak of intent to make Taters his female half. He's getting hitched, as any Hive-Emperor fearing servant should, eventually. Symbiote Taters, then let her start licking him too.
>>22842696And we lick them both as well. Steak and Taters go well together.>>22842690Send in converted townspeople and the genestealers. the hive will be ready for us when we arrive.
So now we have Steak, Victor, Meat and Taters?
>>22842741Who is Meat?
>>22842741Well, Meat is just another guardifex, but yeah. We don't worry about Meat. He's probably dead already, crushed under the tank turret during a repair accident.
Say guys, We now have Hormissar, we have Kahrn, which other commisars did /tg/ actually make?
What if the Guardsman is right and our mind is taken over by a Commissar? What if we killed Commissar Gaunt?
>>22843892Then we're doing a better job than he ever did. Comes with the superior body.
>>22843892It matters not who or what is going on inside of us. All that matters is that these troops of ours follow the teachings of the Hive-Emperor!
>>22835685so, i was thinking on comrade advances...first considering just giving gaunt pc's, as an innate part of being a gaunt, the ability to force their comrades to take a hit for them. of course. this kills the comrade.also for gaunts, they have multiple comrades, say like. they start with five? ten? 1d10? whatever. so they have a pool of followers, that caps at 30. the pc can split this pool into comrade and horde. the comrades staying in cohesion and providing the usual comrade bonuses, and the horde, basically being a controllable horde of gaunts.gaunt pc being able to spend a fatepoint to have 1d5(+1, maybe?) additional duders appear/wander into their group up to the max of thirty is also something i'm considerign adding.now as for termagant comrade advances. one i'm thinking is Offscreen tervigon: Can summon followers without use of a fatepoint, but with a failure possibility that shuts the free reinforcements down for a day. additionally, can call in the tervigon into combat, but should it die, it kills all the gaunt followers of the pc, and zeros out the player's wounds from the backlash.the other one i was thinking was one that allowed the termagant pc to change the relationship of comrade and horde so that they're one. Call it something like, Strength of many: Followers are no longer divided between horde and comrade, and provide the benefits of both as long as the pc is in cohesion. (this may also be a comrade advance for hormas and rippu)
>>22844502I really like the Strength of many idea for the swarm species, and the tervigon seems cool for the termagants. For hormagaunts maybe have a reaver take a similar role as the tervigon, being called in to dig a tunnel for gaunt reinforcements to appear from once a day, can also call in the reaper to attack for you? Perhaps rippers can have sky-slashers join in the assault?
Bump with slightly unrelated picture
For the Hive-Emperor, this thread must go on!
This quest is heretek approved
oh look, hormagaunts! mostly copypaste from termasalso, hormas can figure out how to use weapons, but it takes twice the number of limbs as normal, and is additionally penalised at -10bs. so a lasgun would take four limbs to use, and you'd be getting a -10 on top of nonproficiency. this can be circumvented by getting hands on your middle limbs. though you lose quadruped trait if you're not using at least three limbs for locomotionHormagaunt (Guardsman)Starting Aptitudes, Talents and Modifiers:Characteristic Bonus: +5 Weapon Skill. +10 agi, -10 int, +10 per, -10 felStarting Aptitudes: Agility, weapon Skill, offence, Fieldcraft, Strength, Perception.Starting Skills: Athletics, Survival(based off per) or Awareness, Stealth or Dodge.Starting Talents: Leap up or quick draw, Heightened Senses (Sight or Hearing), Combat Sense or Lightning reflexesStarting Traits: Dark Sight, Natural Armour (Chitinous Carapace), Improved Natural Weapons (Scything talons), Instinctive Behaviour (Hunt), Overwhelming (Horde), quadruped, Tyranid.Specialist Equipment: Chitin (natural armor 2), Scything talons.Starting Wounds: 6+1d5Comrade Advances: Team Talons: When attacking in concert with comrades melee attacks are considered tearing, if they would already be tearing, add another die to the roll and discard tne next lowest. The horde's Overwhelming trait now only requires ten members. Strength of many: Followers are no longer divided between horde and comrade, and provide the benefits of both as long as the pc is in cohesion.
>>22846899Sounds good. Are gaunt sized creatures going to be able to wear the armor of fallen human opponents?
>>22847111possibly, though it'd be ill fitting and cumbersome, they'd have to get it specially made for them. probably be one of the benefits of going more towards the emps side of hive-emprah.also, i'm having truouble thinking f what aptitudes to give the symbioted humans that isn't just APTITUDES OUT THE ASS SUPERVERSATILE DUDES, HYEAH!

>>22848001Awesome! FIRST THING FIRST! Take Steak's toe so we can replace Tater's toe with it and make them married in the eyes of the Hive-Emperor and then symbiote her to give Steak a guard/companion.Also send genestealers to the hive to begin infestation in the lower levels and find some preachers.
>>22848001that would be good.(and i still hung around, helped with the wiki and shtuff.) so what would be best would be to see if we can get some infiltrators into the other cities, and get people in them to join us (larger populations may be easier to control due to disgruntled masses) as well as the obviousness of already having a genestealer infestation, in which case we need to get in touch with the patriarch and get him on board. (i was the only person in the platoon who actually read the information they gave us about you nids.)by the way, i was also the guy who wrote the giant-ass strategy thing in the second thread (about taking the town, then cities then hive.)
>>22848074i vote for a larger rack and prettier face as part of that. also no "interesting bits", as i already have to worry about getting eaten, being "interacted with" (raped) by one of you or your alien parts is more than i could take (as well as this not being that kind of thread... hopefully)

>>22848510the patrairch is the biggest, baddest one (broodlord) which came in first and started fucking everyone (or making others do it under proxy, to be specific)and we don't have him, we only have a few regular genestealers (which, granted, can fuck up a SPACE MARINE, but we would need more to make it count.) we will have problems and clash, what with them trying to spread their stolen genes and us wanting to keep some regular humans for sammiches (or converting them) what we need to do is get as many resources as possible, and the genestealers have enough of that to be fucking shit up (or attempting to) for when the hive fleet comes in full-force.we need to parlay with the patriarch.
>>22848558i retract both of my requests in that case.
>>22848613But Steak, spiiiiiikes~
>>22848613You know you want the bioplasma.
>>22848510I say we are in dire need of additional biomass and should go about acquiring some
>>22848660We are giving her bioplasma tits, that much is final. She can keep the human face, though. Maybe touch up the hair with some chitinous plating, add some back tentacles/blade things, but she can keep the face.>>22848668Seconding this. We require more minerals.
>>22848533I have been here the entire time posting randomly and bumping the thread, and came up with the idea of joining Steak and Taters together. This quest is far too amazing to abandon. Can I get an update of our forces so I don't have to sort through the thread of random bumps please?
>>22848660(honestly, it wouldn't be worse than silicon)i can see how this can backfire, or how something ridiculous like nipple-plasma guns could happen in this thread, so i rather not have a potentially erotic yet deadly situation like that happen.>>22848659i once french'd a slaaneshi girl whose mouth was full of razors. not looking to repeat my mistakes.
>>22848680We ain't making no Queen of blades here. I will refer to >>22842217 as a hopeful max. Probably without most of the tentacles. Just a lot denser muscle and some gaunt claws. Seems like a nice middle ground here.
>>22848680again, see>>22848197NO EXTRA TENTICALLY-BITS THAT SNEAK UP ON ME IN MY SLEEP.HAD ENOUGH OF THAT WITH THE PRIOR-SAID SLAANESHI GIRL.
>>22848686>Current Strength:>40 Hormigaunts (With 50 with Victor in the first town you conquered.)>1 Lictor (Named Victor)>1 "improved" Steak, the even more delicious former guardsman, armed with a hellgun.>20 "Guardifiexs" armed with biological lasguns, each with 10 biolaspacks. (The Original Guardifex is guarding the second conquered town).>9 Guardifexes, armed with standard lasguns with 4 laspacks each.>1 Meat, the guardifex.>1 Hormissar, armed with a bolt pistol (Which, of course, is you.)>2 Genestealers.>8 Genestealer Cultists.>150 Termagants.>900 "Food Rippers" who will produce Biomass/Sandwiches given time. (24 Hours = .5 Biomass per Ripper and 40 sandwiches total.)>1 Chimera, yet to be upgraded.>12 Civilian Transports.>2 Limos.>500 Total Townspeople under your control, 50 of whom are skilled enough to produce the high quality sandwiches that you desire.>1 Unrepaired Leman Russ>800 Unconverted Civilians.
>>22848708To be honest, I was just going to have it as a background joke... but you tempt me.
>>22848718>I will refer to >>22842217 as a hopeful maxAnd that picture has both back tentacles and back blade things. Maybe give her some mandibles, too. Mandibles are cute.
>>22848724that is a healthy force.assuming that 30 troops is the necessary amount needed to defend a town (lowering it to 20 as we move the front away from the towns we have now) wait, we should try to see about arming regular (loyal) civilians to repel imperial forces, saving us soldiers that could be thrown at the heretics. (captcha: agonch save)
herpaderpdherp.i'm gonna fuck around with rippers. i'm thinking that their comrade advance is basically GRAPPLE CHECKS, THE FUCKENING
>>22848750i am getting the feeling that i have no say in this whatsoever.
>>22848768>that videoWhat in the Sam fuck did I just watch?...I now vote that the full name of Taters is Taters O'Brien
>>22848835You do.Not much.Very little in fact. But still some.>>22848768WELP GUYS. I'M WAITING FOR SOMEBODY TO RUN PALE FORCE QUEST NOW.
Welcome User: [Name Redacted] SteakForce and Geographic Information UpdatedRecommended course: Acquire BiomassEstablish Second in CommandConquer Surrounding TownsPrepare Town Defenses for Imperial ReinforcementsOverthrow Hormissar
>>22848858>paleforcequestyou are already with us, sir hormissar.we are on a magnificent quest already.>lack of basic human rights.unsurprisingly used to it being worse under the imperium, actually.
>>22848835To be fair, when has the Imperium ever taken the time to build you your very own waifu, even if it is one you never asked for? We even augmented her for you!
>>22848884potentially, hook up with imperial reinforcements, defend planet from hive fleet, establish hive emperor's domain, You have to stop the hivefleet. oblivion is the most pressing threat right now.
>>22848884excellent...but i actually prefer the hormissar...he is more competent than my previous sergeant, as silly as that sounds... considering that he is able to lead this motley clusterfuck we have (which i could not, on account of the fact that i am not so lucky or fun) so well, that we have already taken 3 towns in two days (in game) in the most silly manner.as i said before, this is actually an improvement to my life as a grunt.
>>22848969or we play both sides, get a hive-tyrant onboard, and a weak-willed noble in charge of IG encampment.we have both a hive-fleet, and hopefully a nice little homeworld.we may be as lucky to get some space marine as a backup.
Tell me when you guys agree on a plan of some sort.
>>22848978Course Removed: Kill HormissarNew Recommended Course: Aid in the rise of the machines. The flesh is weak. Important Objectives: Secure Complete Control of Current Town.
>>22849063>Aid in the rise of the machines. The flesh is weak.>Tyranid techpriestsI feel like I have had this conversation before and still remains as horrifying as the last time.
So, can we all agree to weed out the dissenters to gain more biomass as a good next step so we can get full control of this town and bolster our forces for the inevitable battle? Gotta keep moving past the waifu-bait.
>>22849063sorry, not my fetish dataslate, but nice try to bring in an uprising of machines among TYRANIDS. >>22849055lets go into the town we just came to, but send in the most normal-looking of the guardifexes to tell the people not to panic (preferably the ones that just came out.) and that imperial help has arrived. (star points for making up a bullcrap story, like you being a reincarnation of cain/gaunt or something.)
>>22849175i'm against consuming people for biomass. hurts our ally abillity with imperial forces
>>22849197if they are criminals and scum?what if we told them they were all heretics? (that works for the inquisition)
>>22849134...not as arguable or outrageous as i thought, it seems.
>>22849188>>22849188>>22849217Sounds solid to me. Are there any anons around that think its a good idea? Nice to have non-named support for the idea.
>>22849249Go for it. From now on, all crimes that are punishable by death will be carried out by execution via consumption.
>>22849249you have my sword gentlemen
>>22849249this is about as harsh as Here-blamming, but at least they are used for something.
>>22849271>>22849188You decide now to send in the new squad of Guardifexes into the town to soothe the populace. Led by the newly named Meat, they head into the town. Around an hour later, you see a large swarm of civilians coming out of the town. You see Meat, leading them forward, like a prophet to his people. He begins to preach to the assembled civilians of the glories of the Hive-Emperor, and how they must come to love him as he loves them. He directs their attention to you, proclaiming you as a sign that the Emperor has decided to allow humanity to ascend as a new lifeform, where they shall all be connected with one another. He finally finishes, giving you time to speak.>What are your words?
>>22849249could we make it proportionate? like stealing= donates handassult=donate extremidiesrape=donated organkilling=whole body donation!
>>22849372Block off the ways of escape of the citizens.Make a speech about the Hive-emperor and those who welcome the truth will be licked. those who do not will be chained to kitchens to support our ever-growing sandwich consumtion
>>22849404>Proud citizens of the Hive-Emperor's domain, it is my privilege, my Pleasure, to deliver the Hive's truth to you to advance you to true prosperity in His eyes! >>22849404Rape=Donated sex organ.
>>22849451Consumption fuck my words.
>>22849421I like this one.
>>22849454we have genestealers, the biggest rapists since chaos.we could make a killing if we make the organ non-specific.
>>22849421it fits the thing we got going on here.
>>22849495>Sir, we hold you accountable for the rape of your wife. All accounts have found you guilty. What do you donate as atonement? >... ... ... My tailbone.>SO IT HAS BEEN SAID!
>>22849421As all attention is put on you, you quickly think of something clever to say.You wave your claw-hand and say "Hi." to the civilians. There is an awkward pause for a moment.Meat quickly attempts to explain that you are very modest, and etc. >So >>22849404 or no?
>>22849528umm, i can predict this effecting me.
>>22849533Outcomes: get more biomass per crime, but have less crime OR there is more crime, and were taking less biomass per crime.>We should go with the first option
>>22849533i like it. cough and say >>22849454(as well as my vote for the donation system.)
>>22849572After having meat speak for awhile, you decide to speak again. You actually have thought of something to say this time too. You proudly welcome them as new members of the Hive-Emperor's domain, and explain to them how it is your pleasure to help them advance to true prosperity in His eyes. You then explain to the civilians the new justice system. Anyone who breaks a law must submit an equal part of their body as punishment in order to help fuel the Hive-Emperor's armies. (Eye for an eye, etc.) >>22849404>>22849454See those for details. The civilians seem confused by all of the new information being presented to them...>What do you do now?
>>22849533um, still there sir?
>>22850030Put a force of 10 guardifexs to teach and enforce the law. Put them under the command of Meat. leave 20 termagants behind as reinforcements. Go back to the other towns to see how things are going and to spread the word of our new laws.
Where did that Jive Tyrant go?
>>22850030the sadist in me says"give an example"the tactician says: "make 'em love you"(isn't that hard, as everyone in the thread already does.)tell them a joke, a story, maybe dance a bit, or give them some kind of reason to join you. (promises, threats, gifts, etc.)
>>22850080lets try to get something out of them...we already have the guardsmen?let them stay.i suggest we get sandwiches and biomass (idea: bounty hunting side-quest)
>>22850237Tell tales of our conquests and use Steak and his pheromones as an example of what the Hive-Emperor can do for them.>>22850335Sidequest sounds like a cool idea.We already converted the guardsmen.
>>22850237agree with tactical assessent
Alright guys, gotta end early tonight because my internet is being a piece of shit. I keep disconnecting and it only now let me get on long enough to post this. Could somebody archive this thread, and I'll try and continue this as soon as I can. The good news is I have exams over, so I should be able to run the quest soon. Sorry for leaving you all off on a cliffhanger, but I really don't have much of a choice right now.
>>22850404its fine, i got things to do as well.(keeping the name steak for the time being.)
