With the wonders-horrors done, I think we can move on to the abridging of the nations' lore, plus editing and finding points of contention or contradiction with the lore. Plus, we still need to add the images needed to the wiki and the compendium. But we are pretty much done, I imagine this will be wrapped up before the 100th thread.

Anything missing?
>>
First time looking through one of these threads.

What the fuck, is it just one guy posting with himself for a week?
>>
>>91857938
Interaction with the threads has definitvely dropped from the early days. Though, to be fair, the setting not only is mostly done, but somewhat labyrinthine for newcomers due to +80 threads of lore. That's the point of the summarized compendiums, and even then, they are massive.
>>
>>91858587
So, new guy here, where can i read the compendiums?
>>
>>91858881
The links are in the OP.

Wow you weren't kidding when you said that even them are massive hahahahha.
>>
>>91859273
I know. The bulk of the work now is to upload, organize and abridge everything in the compendiums. And while that is a lot of work, it doesn't really bring a lot of activity to the threads.
>>
Also, I've been checking the maps made, and are a couple of them that aren't on the Wiki yet: Azan (and provinces), Sea of Wheat, the Hedge and Tarot. Any other map not yet on the wiki?

Also, while we are abridging the lore, we could add a couple of things:

>Magic Towers
The different magic towers around the world, what and how they study, and who is the head of the tower.

>Wanted criminals
People who have commited crimes, what did they do and where. Something beside the already known criminal havens such as the piratic nations.

>Knight and religious orders
Like an anon suggested on a previous thread, something to add more fluff, especially for those smaller nations that aren't particularly mentioned.

And of course, images are always needed, as many pages of the compendium are quite wordy.

Ok, so I'll start with the wanted criminals around the world.

>Viktoria Shellein
Viktoria Shellein is a rogue alchemist born within the Kingdom of Tarot, in a small town within the Kingdom of Wands. She was born into a family of humble alchemists, producing concoctions for the local villagers, which made her learn the family trade from a very early age. Known for her eccentric behavior and hunger for knowledge to the point of obsession, she proved for her strange experiments and her apparent natural talent for alchemy, which made her family send her to Ouroboria to try to gain entrance to one of the prestigious alchemical schools of the capitals, which she eventually did. However, despite her brilliant results, she was constantly frowned upon due to her visible disregard about the lack of restraint to her experiments, either on a legal or an ethical level. She experimented with the creation of multiple illegal substances, which helped her fund some of her more unsavory experiments, and she also dealt a great deal with the Path of Flesh, creating chimeric and other species to see what were the limits of organic matter. She hid her experiments by holding her secret laboratory within the ouroborian underworld, while in public she acted as a somewhat normal, if eccentric, member of the alchemist community.
>>
>>91874245
However, the events that would see her branded as a criminal would start with the arrival of a necromancer to Ouroboria. For reasons now unknown, the necromancer was seeking a series of alchemical products for his business and managed to find Viktoria to supply them to him. Intrigued by the concept of necromancy, the two of them studied necromancy, which led Viktoria to develop a strong interest in undeath. However, Viktoria had little to no magical skills, and as such, she began investigating how to reach how to bring back the death through alchemical means. For years, the two of them developed a long career of murder and grave robbery to get enough bodies for their experiments. In the end, however, the two of them were discovered, and the tarotian authorities began to pursue them. While the necromancer was caught and eventually executed, Viktoria managed to escape, fleeing from Tarot. Nowadays, she is believed to travel around Eastern Giantstep continuing her experiments, living by crafting illegal alchemical concoctions, and dedicating all of her time to her experiments. She is known to have created multiple substances to enhance the strength and power of common zombies and undead, as well as to make reanimated skeletons much stronger. Due to her lack of magical talent, however, she often moves around underground necromantic circles.

>Phalaris “The Old”
Phalaris Phalaios was an aristocrat and a general of the asvaran city of Coldshore. Born from one of the most prestigious families in all of the Asvaran Confederacy, he actively participated in local politics, eventually becoming one of the leading generals in charge of defending the city. However, Phalaris grew to loathe local politicians, seeing them as more worried in petty squabbles than in keeping a strong hand in government. He also saw the tribute to the Azan Empire as unsightly and archaic, since the lands of the Azydiwi Peninsula were de facto independent, and as such, there was no reason why they should pay tribute to a distant empire. Growing in ambition year over year, he began planning a takeover of the city, which he eventually did in 3.126 ABE after a coup. He managed to rule over Coldshore over five years, during which the city was put under a regime of terror, seemingly preparing his forces to launch a campaign over the rest of the asvaran cities. He also launched a great deal of expeditions to the mountains, seeking to discover new diamond mines to strengthen Coldshore’s economy. However, in 3.131 ABE, a coalition of the remaining asvaran cities plus azanese volunteers managed to overthrow him and his followers, having to leave into the Zulutaur Steppes.
>>
>>91875041
Once in the steppes, Phalaris and his followers became bandits, preying over the caravans and raiding the different towns, always on the move to avoid being hunted down by mercenaries and security forces sent by the merchant cities. They are believed to be gathering resources to try to take over their old fiefdom again. Rumors speak of Phalaris having a great deal of contacts with the aristocracy of the city of Hedeyjya, as they have a considerable grudge towards the asvaran cities, and a Phalaris in power could grant Hedeyjya a greater influence over the commerce across the steppes than they have now. However, these wild rumors are vehemently denied by the people of Hedeyjya, arguing that helping Phalaris and his men would result in a loss of standing with their trading partners.

holy shit I haven't been to this setting since the second thread ever, good job guys

>Kirke
Kirke is a summer nymph born in the island of Longelsk in the Zapalovach Republic. Living most of her childhood within the many rivers of the island, she quickly got close to the many local human populations within the region, becoming much more used to human interaction than other nymphs. In particular, Kirke proved to be a quite powerful wizard, which allowed her to surpass her family with relative ease, and even going to the Tower of Arzabinsk to improve her skills. She also began learning the art of sailing, as she took a great love for the sea. However, after she became of age, her nymph nature began causing problems around her, as her allure was stronger than that of the average nymph. She started using this powerful attraction to her advantage, quickly gaining a great influence around those unable to resist her charms. She quickly acquired a great deal of riches and influence within Arzabinsk, and even resulted in a series of murders suspected to have happened due to her influence. Meanwhile, she continued her magical studies, in particular developing her skills in transfiguration, turning people into all sorts of different animals. She seduced many weak willed individuals to experiment on them, trying to turn them into weirder and weirder creatures through enchantment or magical potion, becoming entertainment for her.
>>
>>91878426
This disregard for human life would ultimately end up being her downfall, as she became careless and her experiments were eventually discovered. Her fortune was taken from her and she was condemned to execution. While she was waiting for her death, however, some of her bewitched devotees assaulted her prison and let her free. She managed to flee the archipelago, travelling south. She repeated her actions on every port she managed to land, quickly earning a dreadful reputation of a dark seductress that would steal the hearts of weak men and then turn them into boars or fishes. And in every city, she was pursued and expelled once the locals managed to understand the threat she posed. However, during her travels across the cities south of Scimitaria, the ship she was in was discovered by a raiding party of the Red Lotus, with multiple ships chasing them on, even when a storm was brewing. With her alluring powers immune due to the sheer indoctrination of the cultists and her servants quickly falling to the pirates, she jumped into the water and to her fate.
>>
>>91878438
The fate of Kirke was discovered after a drow flute vessel managed to defeat the Red Lotus and free the few survivors, who told how Kirke the Witch jumped into the roaring sea. This made many think that the threat of the evil nymph was gone forever. However, there are many rumors around the Sunset Ocean, with all sailors who navigate the waters of the waters telling the stories of a strange, uncharted island. An paradisiac island from which no man ever comes back, lorded by an impossibly beautiful witch that turns the hearts of men into her plaything before cursing them into horrible forms…

>Jiogos Aes
Jiogos Aes is a tiefling born in the port city of Ny-Khatissima in Gvilderstaaten. Born within a rare case of a marriage alliance between a dragon tiefling and demon tiefling families, Jiogos was cursed at birth with albinism, seen as a bad omen by his clans. From a very early age, Jiogos proved to have a very destructive behavior, with a strong tendency towards pyromania, being caught multiple times taking books from the house library and burning them on the street, or setting trash on fire. While his social skills were impressive, he also showed a worrying lack of empathy towards his fellows, always surrounded by a gang of followers attracted by his charisma and family fortune, but were never considered his friends. Jiogos also enjoyed street brawls, intentionally going to the city underground to start trouble, seeking for an excuse to have a rumble with the lowlifes in there. His growing streak of violence and his presence on city fires under mysterious circumstances eventually led his family to disown him from inheriting the role of head of business, passing over to his sister. However, a series of seemingly coincidental accidents and attacks led to the death of Jiogos’ parents and sister, leading Jiogos as the head of both clans.
>>
>>91882166
However, Jiogos’ close relatives were not happy with this state of affairs. Deeply distrusting of the pyromaniac brawler, and suspecting Jiogos’ role in the seemingly casual accidents that led to his family’s death, they moved against him time and time again, finally managing to kick him out of the clan. Jiogos managed to escape Gvilderstaaten before his family could press charges and imprison him, but not before setting fire to as many of his relatives’ houses and business as possible. He travelled across the cities of Azan, fighting the many gangs of criminals and ruffians of the underground, gaining a considerable reputation for his wits and his lack of scruples. The azanese law forces quickly noticed the rise of this figure in the criminal underworld, and put a considerable price for his head, forcing Jiogos to flee the empire. Nowadays, the current whereabouts of Jiogos Aes are unknown, though a strange series of arsons in Azhar Nar could suggest he might be there.

>Margari Iata
Margari Iata is one of the most famous thieves in all of Western Giantstep. An orphan abandoned on the steps on a temple dedicated to the Old Azanese Faith at the outskirts of Nananikor in Azan, she was seemingly destined to become a priestess of the Old Faith. However, she was adopted into what seemed to be a wealthy family, as a wealthy noble house adopted her to become a maiden to her daughter, which opened her the doors of noble life. Quickly learning how different how the two lifestyles were, from her humble and pious life in the temple to the lavish and luxurious existence in the palace, she developed a great love for luxurious possessions, in particular jewels, precious stones and other items of the sort. She began stealing them and enjoying the thrill of it, keeping her score on a small hut outside of the city just to enjoy them on her own. However, these acts became increasingly harder to pull off, as while the household did not discover her, they did notice the burglaries, and thus increased security around the house, making further attempts impossible.
>>
>>91887472
Frustrated by this, she left the noble household, seeking fellow thieves in the underworld to ask them for aid, as without the adequate knowledge and skill, she would not feel both the thrill of the theft and the pleasure of owning great booty. Trading her gathered treasure for information, she eventually found herself among a group of mercenary changrilese ninja who had abandoned their lands to seek fortune in Azan. In exchange of their guarded treasure, they promised to teach her all they knew about stealth and subterfuge, under the condition that if she ever decided to quit the training and flee, she would be killed to keep their secrets protected. And while they put this condition believing the young ex-maid would quickly surrender and thus gain all her loot for free, she turned out to be an extraordinarily talented thief, being adept at both stealth, subterfuge, misdirection and planning. She was so talented, in fact, she was accepted into the clan after a year, partaking in many of their operations of assassination, kidnapping and burglary. After a couple of years at their service, she left to strike on her own, becoming notorious as the “Dandelion of Nananikor”, due to her leaving a yellow dandelion as a sort of calling cart.

Margari Iata’s biggest plots have been against the high nobility of Nananikor, and occasionally other important azanese cities. As she enjoys the thrill of the heist, she prefers going after places with high security, as they pose a much more enjoyable challenge. She will then keep her treasure until she gets bored of it, and once that happens she abandons it on a random place of the city, often to the delight to the common folk. Her lifestyle in both nobility and priestly circles has gained her a great deal of knowledge about the behavior and etiquette of high society, though she has reportedly never stolen from a temple. Her biggest successful ploy was the theft of the “Diamond of the South”, a diamond the size of a human head that had been offered as a gift to the emperor by the badgassi chieftains as a sign of friendship. After the seemingly impossible achievement, the diamond appeared at the bottom of a fountain on a small rural town, bringing a great commotion to the nation and a great shame to imperial security. Because of this, the emperor himself ordered the capture of the “Dandelion of Nananikor”, offering a considerable sum for any information of her whereabouts.

>Dikhian’an “The White Bolt”
Dikhian’an is a pirate captain sailing in the waters of western and southern Giantstep, as well as Scimitarian. Born as a common travelling joo in the Lemon Kingdom, he quickly developed a great love for the sea despite his family’s disapproval, and he left them as soon as he was of age. Becoming a sailor in one of the many port towns of the kingdom, he eventually ended up as a cabin boy for a merchant ship. It was there where he met with the beautiful young daughter of the company’s owner, and the both of them fell madly in love with each other. However, her father was incensed by this relationship, as he wanted to marry her with a local noble. It reached a point where he ordered Dikhian’an’s expulsion from the crew and, pulling a few strings with local authorities, got him exiled from most port cities of the kingdom. Undaunted, Dikhian’an and his love decided to elope together, seeking to flee to a place where they would be able to love each other. However, they were discovered fleeing on a small contraband vessel. In the ensuing battle, Dikhian’an was grievously wounded, while his lover was taken back by her father. Dikhian’an’s body fell into the water, but he managed to survive for long enough to be rescued by a band of pirates, who tended to his wounds, though he ended up losing an eye and an arm. It was then when he got the news that his love had committed suicide, utterly grief-stricken and believing him dead and lost to the sea.
>>
>>91888653
Swearing revenge against the world for allowing her to die, he joined the pirates, quickly taking over the crew and gathering a considerable force around him. Ruthless and without any fear of death, he quickly became an adept fighter despite the terrible wounds he had suffered. He razed many of the ports of the kingdom, stealing many vessels and gaining a reputation for courage beyond the insane, also receiving the title of “the White Bolt” due to the speed of his raids and to his swashbuckling skills. However, the appearance of a pirate captain of note in waters as well guarded as those in the Sea of the Dragons is bound to attract the attention of authorities, and both the azanese and lemonaint fleets began pursuing him out of the Gun-Po Sea. Nowadays, he’s believed to have a base of operations in the lands of Dsrvyth, from where he strikes the shores of the Peninsula of Cemak I, as well as other nearby towns, and even some of the ports of Scimitarian. He is believed to be gathering a great pirate fleet to take down the trading company of the man that killed his love so many years ago.

Honest question. Have any of you even tried to play in this setting? If yes with what rule system?

That has been an ongoing debate here. Every time people suggest homebrew stuff for the setting, the momentum stops rather quickly, so most assume this will use GURPS or something similar and be done with it.

There were different propositions to start homebrewing, but all led nowhere.

>Lady Larieta Di Rangola “the Cursed”
The story of Larieta Di Rangola is one of tragedy and horror. Larieta Di Rangola was the heiress of the Rangola family, an important noble house in the lands of Glorenaise, in the Kingdom of Lorient. Before her birth, her father, Henri Di Rangola, had participated in many campaigns against the threats from the inner parts of the peninsula. Alongside other doraniei, they eventually decided to take their chances for glory outside of the Peninsula of Cemak I, and moved to the borders of the Azan Empire, where a witchelven witch of particular note had been attacking nearby towns. Seeking to gain honor for his house, he and his men travelled to get the head of this witch, something that they eventually did. However, the witch turned out to be a succubus dominator, a succubus of immense magical power. Alongside dozens of knights and helped by many wizards, they managed to defeat its minions, with Di Rangola himself giving the final blow to the monster. But before striking the deamon’s head from its shoulder, the succubus screamed to Gogotha herself to curse Di Rangola, “bringing calamity to his house, his own blood corrupted and his name forever feared, with doom arriving the day his firstborn received the mark of the weaver”. Many accolades were brought to Henri Di Rangola and his house, and it was at that point when he received the news his wife had given birth to a daughter.
>>
>>91895641
Horrified at the prospect of the curse, Di Rangola consulted many priests and wizards over the years, bringing them to see if his daughter, Larieta Di Rangola, was in any danger at all. However, no matter how many of them were brought over, none of them detected anything unusual on her. Her family kept her very isolated and protected, growing up in a bubbled environment, always within proximity of guards or her family, and having a very regimented life (of course, she was barred from learning how to sew, and all sewing utensils were thrown away and burned the moment they knew about the curse’s words). Many years passed, and the fear of the curse started to fade away, and Larieta grew as happy as she could be, a shy but innocent noble lady ready to fulfill the duties expected of her, despite her relative isolation. After her coming of age, Larieta was chosen a suitable husband, and thanks to the prestige of his house, he managed to marry a distant member of the royal dynasty, giving the Rangola House a claim to the throne. During the beautifully arranged wedding ceremony, Larieta was preparing her wedding dress where she was bitten by a small spider, so tiny it was nearly invisible to the eyes. Barely noticing the sting and thinking nothing of it, the ceremony carried on. And at the height of the ceremony, when the two betrothed were swearing their oaths to loyalty to each other, Larieta suddenly screamed in horrible pain, her body shattering and twisting into the shape of a gigantic humanoid spider. It turned out that Gogotha’s curse had resulted in Larieta turning into an arachne therianthrope, much bigger and dangerous than common therianthropes. The creature devoured all who saw, from her fiancée to her parents to all the guards and guests that could not managed to escape.
>>
>>91895669
Only after the night set and all life around the temple was extinguish did she return to her original form, with bits of her family and friends covering the building, all human remains and limbs clinging over the walls by massive spider webs. Horrified at what had happened, she ran for her life, never to be seen again in Lorient.

The incident sent shockwaves in lorientain society. A member of the royal house and most of House Rangola had been devoured by a monster, a monster that had turned out to be Larieta Di Rangola. With her parents and most of her house dead after the rampage, there were no one alive to explain to the authorities what exactly had happened, and thus, many believed that House Rangola had hidden a dangerous therianthrope from everyone. This, as well as the deaths of most of the members of the house, brought House Rangola to its doom, with their titles revoked and properties taken away. Meanwhile, the hunt for the being Larieta had become was on, but despite several hunting parties, she was not seen in Lorient again. However, she was discovered to be alive when a small town of trolls reported having suffered an attack by a massive spider monster, big and deadly enough to send trolls running for their lives. Her tracks led to the southwestern lands of Changrila, and from then on there have been multiple sightings of the being Rangola had become. Many towns have been victim of her monstrous side, as she is apparently searching for a way to rid herself of the curse. The trigger for her transformation is still unknown, and she has even seen both a fully human form and a hybrid form, though she has little control of the shape she is in, and has no control over her body once she fully turns. Many experts on therianthropy want to capture Rangola alive for study, but the dozens of people eaten by the monster has most claiming her head on a pike, regardless of the tragedy of her story.

>Marsh Twinklehoof
Marsh Twinklehoof is a satyr born in the lands of Elfwood. Living most of his youth around other satyrs, he learned many of his customs and skills, being particularly talented in playing music. However, it was soon discovered that his musical gift was not what it seemed. Indeed, Marsh Twinklehoof was a gifted wizard, a natural in twisting mystical energies through song. The elders of Elfwood tried to teach him to use his powers in the traditional fey ways, but Marsh Twinklehoof felt that he did not belong to the forests anymore. Leaving the forests, he eventually went to Hereby, where he lived amongst the hobbits and learned from the wizards and sorcerers in there. But as Marsh Twinklehoof’s powers grew, so did his greed. His appetite for sensation and pleasure turned him into a dark figure, quick to rouse in anger if he did not get what he wanted. He began using his magical tunes to twist other people’s will to get what he wanted, letting himself be consumed by his passions. Eventually, he was kicked out of hobbit society, and thus his feud began.
>>
>>91897553
During a particularly hot summer days, the towns of Thereby quickly began noticing a series of strange disappearances. Many children began vanishing from their homes, first noticing a strange tune that only children could hear, and before the parents could notice, the child had gone, travelling towards that music. The amount of disappeared youngsters quickly grew into the hundreds, and militias from all over Hereby quickly organized in a search and rescue operation. It was then when one of the children appeared, bringing a note from “The Lord of the Lute and the Flute”, declaring that the children were now part of the secret kingdom, and that they would serve him for the rest of their lives as punishment for their parents’ offense against him. The population immediately identified Marsh Twinklehoof as the main suspect of this crime, and after a series of emissaries were sent to the neighboring lands, the entire Land Behind the Hedge was searching for Marsh Twinklehoof and the missing children. However, there have been no further sightings of Marsh Twinklehoof since the day he was exiled, with the children missing vanishing as well. Mentioning the name of Marsh Twinklehoof within the Lands Behind the Hedge results in either fear or utter hate, as the memory of the dark figure is still fresh in the minds of its inhabitants.

>Yuidromir Cragham “The Reaver”
Yuidromir Cragham is a dwarf slaver and raider that has plagued the lands of western Scimitarian for decades. Born in Gäutland, he lived a very violent life from his early youth, as he was born on a warrior clan, where strength was all and the only the strong survive, feeding off the weak. Yuidromir grew as a mercenary for many local lords, particularly helping azanese forces and other allies in keeping the witchelven on their side of the border. However, he slowly began to resent this lifestyle, as he saw the azanese and changrilese lack of strength to end the witchelven once and for all as weakness. Indeed, the slaving raids of the witchelven seemed to be more partial to his principles than the defense of the weak, and thus he reneged of his oath and joined the witchelven, which branded him a traitor on his land. The witchelven saw this as a quaint curiosity, but he turned out to be a great asset for them, as Yuidromir’s ferocity in battle made him a force to be reckoned with. His berserker ferocity also served as a way to terrify local populations, having no compunctions in causing soul-crushing massacres to break the spirits of his targets. Yuidromir quickly gained reputation as a slaver, but the natural backstabbing ways of the witchelven resulted in him causing a great deal of envy from his competitors, which led him to flee to save his life.
>>
>>91901280
Running from the witchelven lands, and barred forevermore from going back to his home, he eventually landed in the lands of Scimitarian. As the Drow City States were some of the biggest markets for slaves left in the world, he found that his services were on demand. However, the slaver trade in Scimitaria required a great deal more subterfuge and subtlety than in the witchelven lands, which forced Yuidromir to begin adding other strategies to his repertoire. Individual kidnapping, raids masquerading as rival lords attacking each other, using pirates as cover… Yuidromir became one of the most feared reavers in Scimitarian, operating mostly across the lands of western Scimitaria. And while many drow cities technically have put a price for his head, in reality the services of Yuidromir are too valuable and profitable for them to actually act upon that threat.

>Saldor Ainidir
Saldor Ainidir is a famous spree killer, born on the city of Axalatos, in the Empire of Elanxa. Born into a family of artisans, Saldor began working at his father’s workshop from a very early age. His family was renowned in the city for their great painted sculptures, with Saldor shinning very early on due to his painting talents. However, despite his family’s attempts of getting him a chance of entering in some of the prestigious art academies of Picaea, he was repeatedly rejected. Undaunted, he continued his work on his own, eventually becoming as the personal painter of the local noble. However, due to his commoner origins and the fact he was not a recognized painter from the capital, he was treated with scorn and irony, enjoying his shame as some morbid spectacle. For years, he was berated and laughed at by the noble’s family and court, and he endured that for over a decade. Many argue that it was this constant humiliation is what made him snap. From seemingly nowhere, he started to produce works of art depicting strange faces screaming for penance, and while it was considered ghoulish by his patron, this brought him to the attention to the public, as a novelty in the very strict art world of Elanxa.
>>
>>91901817
Saldor quickly became one of the most popular painters of the day, creating great galleries where penitents screamed and begged for forgiveness and penance, showing with excruciatingly detail how the bodies turn and twist in pain and agony. And as the years passed, the more he emphasized the pain and horror in the eyes, to the point that many of his works ended up being completely hidden from the public. With his growing success, he bought a small villa in the countryside, far from high society, where he worked most of the time. And it was this villa that would be his downfall, as one day a famous gang of thieves gave thieves to the authorities and denounced Saldor as a monster. They had apparently broken into Saldor’s villa to take as much art as possible, and they had discovered in the lower floors of the building horrible torture chambers, full of screaming men and women begging for release. This shocked so thoroughly that they fled without taking anything, deciding to confess, as their conscience did not allow such horror to happen. Initially, the authorities did not believe these statements, but the descriptions of the people they had seen coincided perfectly with a series of kidnappings that had taken place years ago, and thus they decided to enter the villa. The imperial authorities, to their horror, discovered that the thieves’ tales were milder than reality. The villa itself had all sorts of macabre pieces made out of body parts, from scrolls of parchment made out of human skin to pianos made out of human bone. A total of 30 people had been discovered alive, chained to the walls or hanged by hooks from the ceiling, having suffered inhumane torture and mutilations to apparently serve as inspiration for Saldor’s work. The villa gardens were uprooted and dag up to find hundreds of human remains in different states of disrepair, pointing out that he had been doing these atrocities for decades.
>>
>>91901824
When these news spread, the entire empire became horrified, and many people started looking for Saldor’s works in case they coincided with disappeared people, something that did happen in a many cases. His works began to be burned down in the streets, though many have survived in the private collections of some nobles as morbid curiosities. The god-emperor himself declared him to be a demon of the worst kind, and condemned him to death. However, Saldor had already fled the moment he learned his home had been broken into, and thus managed to flee the country. He is believed to have fled into the lands of Kokaine, and his current whereabouts are unknown.

>Limarah Kiyledeah
Limarah Kiyledeah is a dark druid that became one of the most infamous summoners in all eastern Giantstep. Born in the lands of Faarowt, she learned the ways of the druids from a very early age, with a relatively unremarkable childhood, travelling with her family across the fields and forests of the land learning how to commute with nature. It would be during a visit to the totems of the God Circle, where she had an epileptic attack that let her catatonic for nearly a month. After she recovered, her attitude and behavior were significantly different from her previous self. She also began attracting misfortune all around her, as strange accidents began occurring around her, both of the common and of the magical kind. She lost her circle of friends, and became an eerie and lonely woman, though many times she was seen talking to herself. One day of winter, near the forest of Maorloahog, a strange fire broke out that quickly swallowed part of the forest. Despite the high humidity of the fungal forest, the flames quickly spread across the land, launching toxic fumes all around, making the attempts of stopping the flames quite futile. And across the flames, dancing and laughing maniacally, was Limarah herself, while voices not of her own sang in inhuman tongues. After the fires went out, she fell to the ground unconscious, still with a wicked smile on her face.
>>
>>91904796
Despite the magic of the druids, whatever had taken control over Limarah could not be uprooted from her. Worse still, she was apparently in complete synchronicity with the entity, as the being that had taken over her mind and body had also taught her the secrets of demon summoning. Eventually, despite the druids’ best efforts, she managed to get away, but not before murdering some of the elder druids of her family in a sacrificial ritual, releasing dozens of demonic monstrosities in the woods. From then on, Limarah has been seen moving across eastern Giantstep, releasing demons wherever she goes. She has also been known for raiding the libraries of wizard towers, taking powerful items and tomes, and sometimes destroying them. Seemingly guided by the entity possessing her, the magical community has put a price on her head, with the Ancient Order of Most Practical Wizards wanting to capture her alive to study the entity that has seemingly taken over her. Most worrying of all, the dark druids of Drouchont have also been seen trying to capture her, seemingly trying to kill her, with the reasons of their interest in Limarah being something they guard zealously…

>Erziorzü Samalialidereleli
Erziorzü Samalialidereleli is a famous bandit and thief active in the lands of Southern Giantstep. Being born in the city of Mahasharabadid, capital of the Bakir Sahabaharadad Sultanate, she lived a life of opulence as the third daughter of one of the biggest traders in the nation. However, despite her lack of interest for the family business, her father forced her to partake in an education of a trader, which meant a great knowledge of geography, diplomacy and economy. To this, she added a great interest in the arts of exploration, travelling and sword fighting, something her family saw as improper for a city lady. Despite her family’s misgivings, this turned out to be a lifesaver, as her older brother had ordered the murder of his entire family in a coordinated coup, intended to leave him as the sole inheritor of the Samalialidereleli House. His coup had been prepared with exceptional care for years, and after the murders were appropriately hidden or camouflaged as accidents, he realized that Erziorzü had managed to survive her assassins. She had outfought some of her pursuers and quickly galloped to the desert, hiding in the empty dunes as her trackers took her for dead, as she had been left greatly wounded. After she healed her wounds, she came back to the city and denounced her brother. Undaunted, he managed to outmaneuver her by using his connections, convincing the authorities and the population that she had been the mastermind of the coup, and was now trying to put the blame on him. Chased as a murderer and a fratricide, she had to flee to the desert once again, swearing revenge upon her brother.
>>
>>91907098
She travelled across the dunes to the west, to the lands of the Badgassi, where she joined a pirate crew. She spent many years as a corsair, attacking trading vessels and having a great pleasure in burning down those vessels having cargo with the seal of the Samalialidereleli. After a while, she managed to attract to herself a great deal of followers and admirers, moving to land once again, becoming desert raiders and attacking the caravans moving across the sultanate. Her successful hit and run tactics gained her a fearsome reputation, and the different cities of the sultanate organized a great effort to take her down dead or alive. Undaunted, she moved to the north, to the jungles of Chakobsa. While many consider the chakobsan jungle as a green hell, barely better than the Eldritch Jungle to the south, Erziorzü had a great deal of knowledge and survival skills, quickly learning to traverse the jungle safely, and setting a base of operations in areas where the dirihadarirans dared not to go. She also fought many times the tribes of hop’en and the yagurans, adding some of them to her band, and even selling captured dirihadariran prisoners to the yagurans as slaves, something that gained the approval of many of their chieftains. To this day, she is still gathering treasure and men in her jungle headquarters, raiding and pillaging trading posts and caravans moving across the desert and sometimes beyond it. Her oath against her brother still goes on, as her ultimately goal of avenging the death of his family and bringing honor to the Samalialidereleli House feeds her personal war against his brother.

>Tildea Obadias
Tildea Obadias’ origins are somewhat difficult to establish. The rumors tell of her being a rescued slave from the witchelven, as her mother was taken from the clutches of the witchelven when she was pregnant. The efforts of labor as well as the damages she suffered as a slave meant that she did not make it back to Azan. She was taken by a human couple as a baby, growing in the city of Äelar'Ra. However, being very poor, they struggled together to survive year by year. While her parents were great devotees of the New Azanese Faith and tried to imprint on her the values of charity, compassion and humbleness, Tildea became very cynical the older she grew, seeing as all her family’s devotion did little but barely keeping them out of the brink of starvation. Without her parents’ permission, she became a thief, pickpocketing in the streets to gain whatever she could gain. And even when her parents caught her, they forced her to give up her treasure to the local church as a way to expiate her sins. It would be during one of this bouts when she was kidnapped by a group of human traffickers, who took her from Äelar'Ra and took her all the way to the Daligrad and sold as a slave. Tildea had to survive in one of the brothels of the debaucherous city-state, becoming an exotic dancer for the enjoyment of her patrons. Without losing hope, she managed to survive this existence until she managed to break her chains and kill one of her bodyguards, running away during the rain. Travelling on foot all the way to Äelar'Ra to find her parents, once she arrived there she found that they had died a year after her kidnapping, as a plague had hit the poorer areas of the city.
>>
>>91914117
Alone in the world and with all hopes shredded from her, she fell into utter despair, denouncing the injustices in the world and cursing the azanese gods and renouncing their worship, as in her eyes, had brought nothing but misery and injustice to her life. In her lower point, she fell into the worship of Mg’umba. Interested in all but the sheer destruction of those she saw as corrupt and dishonest, the cult of the Red Moon gave her the strength to continue living, seeing murder in the name of Mg’umba as a cleansing of society, purifying it through bloodshed. She travelled the lands under azanese influence, searching for those she considered sinners and murdered them. Usually, she would offer herself as a vulnerable travelling dancer or as an escaped slave, and murdering anyone who tried anything unsavory, taking their possessions and moving on. She has also been accused of arson, having a particular distaste for azanese temples, she is known to have barred the doors of at least a couple of them and setting them aflame, something that has made her a wanted criminal in all azanese lands. Her constant bloodletting is believed to have granted some favor from Mg’umba itself, or that she has gained some sort of cult around her, as she has been able to disappear and escape from chases that she shouldn’t have, living to kill another day in the name of the Red Moon.

>Ymilova Divna “the Blind”
Ymilova Divna was born in a rural town near Aguten, in the Princedom of Platinum. Showing a considerable talent from a very early age, her superstitious parents were very reticent to send her to a proper wizard tower, and thus they hid her magical aptitude from any wandering wizards that could have taken her to one. However, after a plague that left most of the population dead, she was one of the few survivors. As the authorities found out that the water of the well had been corrupted and had caused most of the village to become horribly sick, they found Ymilova, walking amongst the dead town at the brink of passing, with her parents long gone. The help from the local authorities managed to save the few survivors, but Ymilova’s disease had costed her sight. At that point, she was brought to a wizard tower, developing her considerable skills in magic. However, the events that had transpired had marked her deeply, and quickly grew fascinated with necromancy. While her teachers tried to dissuade her from that magical branch, she continued her pursuits, eventually leaving to the west, to the lands of Mossovoy.
>>
>>91916258
The Vzdoruye received her with open arms, as her power and the passion for the death impressed many in the underground city. However, while she learned a great deal of necromantic secrets from the Vzdoruye, their attempts of her to join the Priesthood of Zanzarah were rejected, as it would limit her research and her goals (though she adopted the worship of Zanrarah, as well as the dark robes of the vzdoruyans). Eventually she left Mossovoy as well, going back to the Princedom of Platinum, this time to the zemylander side of the princedom. In there, she began a necromantic cult, attracting many interested in her dark arts. She even tried to present to the royal court a formal petition to open her own wizard tower in the princedom, dedicated to the study of undeath. However, she was rejected over and over, as necromancy is feared and hated by most. Undaunted by this, she continued her studies underground, which led to her cult stealing hundreds of cadavers, as well as creating dangerous necromantic constructs. This resulted in her being branded a criminal, and her having to hide underground, from where she continues her necromantic studies. While many believe she is still in the Princedom of Platinum, some suggest that she has travelled east, moving to Biblion, in search for ancient tomes that could help her research.
