You can't really recall how you got here. Oh, you know how you got 'here' - once those dumbass thugs started shooting up the place, you made a beeline for a spot underneath the counter, just like everyone else in the bar. You, your client, and two of the random mercenaries were able to make it, while the third mercenary was stuck dead in the water. Or maybe he just wanted to be out there, judging from how he was cackling at them. It seemed like he was having the time of his life, trying to shoot at their asses.

No, you're more concerned with how you got to the point of cowering underneath a counter with three strangers while some no-name raiders started shooting at you. This isn't how you imagined your life would pan out, frankly.

Anya - your client, if you can recall - pipes up before you can. "W-well, as wonderful as this new location is for our current predicament, I'd love it if we were able to relocate to something more suitable! If we can get to the western entry point of the Underdeck, we can find you a shiny new wanzer to pilot, Miss Cuvic! In the meantime, does anyone have a plan to get us through the Johnson Brothers?"

>Options?

It was hard to hear your own thoughts, through all this repeated fire. Harder still to listen to anyone else. Didn't these thugs know how to conserve ammunition!? You try and wait for a good opportunity to talk before shoving the spectacled man's shoulder. "Hey! You look like you got something to say about this. Got any bright ideas, Four Eyes!?" You scream, above the sound of the orc unloading a hot batch of lead toward the bandits.

The gaunt Galarian - Denton, you think - nods solemnly. He snatches at a bit of alcohol from behind the counter, narrowly avoiding a bullet to his fingers, and uncorks it. Then, he takes a cloth and stuffs it into the lip of the bottle. "Fought in the wars. Killed men. Got ideas. Do you know the Two Card Monte?" He asked. That must have been some sort of tactical move, probably. He seemed to be waiting for your answer.

In the meantime, the cloaked stranger was also tapping at your shoulder. "Senorita. Barbo Pequino has a plan, as well. If you can distract el banditos for one moment, I can shoot at them with my revolver." Barbo Pequino's hand stuck out from the side of his poncho, grasping a shiny, silver six-gun. It almost reminded you of your wanzer's own revolver. "It will not be the Two Card Monte, senor, but I can assure you that I am a good pistolero."

Both men are looking at you. It looks like you'll have to decide which of them to help.

"Alright, Little Beard, I'm not going to lie - any plan that starts and ends with 'shoot them' sounds like a shitty plan. I'd rather go with Two Card Monte, over here." You say, pointing a thumb at Denton. The wide-brimmed hat of the little man tipped down, but he didn't say anything more. Denton, in the meantime, had prepped up a few more bottles for you to use. "Here. For Part Two. Part One - go." He pointed to the bar counter, with shattered glass and spilled alcohol, and held out a lighter.

...well, you're not about to make yourself look like a fool and ask what the fuck the Two Card Monte is. You take the archaic device, fumbling a little bit as you do so, and try to bring it closer to the countertop.

An errant bullet puts a stop to that. Your thumb is almost shot off as a small projectile shoots the lighter out of your hand. You withdraw to the safety of the counter just before the rogue machines can shoot at your hand properly! "What, were you guys trying a Two Card Monte!? Hah! You can't even break the counter off of the ground, idiots!" One of the brothers taunts. Fucking prick.

Denton is already hefting a bottle in his hand. Poising himself, he peeks over the edge of your makeshift cover. "They're good shots. Wasn't expecting that. Won't underestimate them."

1/?
>>
>>39248454
Through sheer, dumb luck, the big orc still hadn't gotten himself hit. He had taken a shotgun out and was returning fire, laughing up a storm and aiming toward the robots that the brothers had brought. He had gotten one of the machines right in the head, but the other droids were still standing. "COME! CORVO THIRSTS FOR BLOOD!"

This was taking too long. They might start calling for reinforcements, soon. You had to find a way to either get out of here or defeat them. But how...?

Well, you've still got one other plan to work through. One can only hope that the little shit knows how to shoot. Grabbing a few of the bottles that Denton prepared, you set them at your feet while tying your hair back into a low ponytail. You've always got a spare hair tie on you for shit like this - the CO would kill you if you had hair in your face while piloting wanzers on a mission. "Barbo. I'm about to run out there and give you a clear shot. Please, for the love of the gods, don't get my ass killed. And aim for the one that looks like he's controlling the fucking droids, would you?" You snap, before grabbing the bottles. Wait for them to reload...now!

Both you and the poncho-wearing mercenary hop out of cover, vaulting over the bar's counter. Some of the droids are still shooting at the orc, but one of the brothers tries to aim toward you. A stinging pain in your left forearm almost breaks your concentration, but you're too focused on the task at hand to really pay attention to it. "EAT SHIT, PIG!" You scream, tossing a liquor-laden bottle at the brother on the right! It soars through the air, shattering right on his face and causing him to howl in agony! "AUGH! AAAAAAGH! THE BITCH GOT ME!" He yelped, clawing at the shards of glass bottle that now littered his face.

1/?
>>
>>39248940
Barbo sees his chance. Without a word, he twirls his revolver on one finger and shoots at the man you had just stunned! His shot strikes right at the white brother's kneecap, forcing him down to the ground. "Gaaah! Johnson! They got my leg! Droids, suppressing fire!"

"Damn it! Johnson, let's pull back! We'll get them later!" The black brother responds, pulling back toward his injured friend. The droids are also stepping back around the man, firing less to shoot at you and more to keep you pinned down. You grasp at your wounded forearm, hissing slightly.

Now would be a good time to get the hell out of there. Then again, these fucking brothers just said they'd come back to get you, and your arm's already shot to hell because of their shit...

Like hell you're gonna let this chance slip. The droids seemed to be holding regular lead-and-gunpowder pistols. You dive for one, deftly dodging the droids' death-dealing while snatching the sidearm in your solid hand. You can't quite get a good grip on the handgun, since your left arm's still a little fucked up, but you can at least aim with one hand. "Okay, just pull the hammer back, safety's off, and shoot!" You murmur to yourself.

One droid falls, then another one is downed. The three remaining droids are trying to fire at you, but you slip into a nearby store before their bullets even reach the place where you once stood.

It looks like you jumped into some run-down goods department. The old woman running the place is shaking behind the counter, stammering up a storm. "I-I-I-I-I don't want any trouble! P-p-p-please don't get me involved!" She stutters. Gods damn it, you don't need an old woman's death on your conscience!

Holding a hand out to silence the chattering old woman, you quickly check your handgun's clip. It's running low - you better make sure your shots count. "Hey, orc! Let's waste these assholes!" You yell out.

The orc readies his shotgun and nods. As one, both of you dive out of your covers, aiming straight for the brothers! You plant two shots right in the downed brother's chest, adding to his knee pain and probably shattering a rib into his lung. He lets out a strangled, pain-laden cry before sputtering, choking, and falling on the ground. One man down. The orc...ugh, his shots are so wide that he's hit the hanging sign from one of the buildings above you!

"No...NOOOOOO! JOHNSON!" The surviving brother yells out. "You'll pay for that, you FUCKING WHOOOOOORE!" In his rage, he rips one of the guns out of the droid's arm, pointing it sideways to fire at you. Click. Click-click-click. His droids all try to join in, but the three of them seem to have run out of ammo. "FUCK! I'M COMING FOR YOU, BITCH!"

The enraged Johnson Brother tosses the gun toward you, and it lands harmlessly at your feet. What isn't landing harmlessly at your feet is the man making a bullrush in your direction!

The Johnson brother looks like an idiot, but he's also fueled by grief. You did just kill his brother, after all. Thinking on your feet, you hide behind your temporary orcish ally and raise your middle finger out from behind him. "Come and get me, fucker! Hey, greenskin, watch out!"

Corvo was prepared. He tossed his second shotgun down to the dirt, slamming a huge hand into his meaty palm. When the brother got close, he grabbed at the (relatively) puny man's shoulders, squeezed down hard, and began to lift him up. "You are WEAK. PATHETIC! YOU WILL DIE FOR CORVO!" The orc howls. Despite all of Black Johnson's struggling, he can't even dent the orc's massive grasp. The robots continued to click their empty guns harmlessly in Corvo's direction, only fueling his rage.

"DIE!" Corvo growls. With a disturbing crunch, he forced the brother's shoulders to collapse into themselves. But he wasn't done yet. The next part...

It was too disturbing to describe. You've lived on the battlefield for a while, but you've never seen anything quite like an orc ripping a man in half.

A pair of shades fall down from the divided corpse's pocket. You aren't quite sure why, but you take them, clean the blood and dust out using your tank top, and put them on. A perfect fit. "I really should be more conflicted about what you just did, Corvo, but I'm going to ignore it for my own sanity."

1/?
>>
>>39250428
Corvo just grunts. His bloodlust now sated, the angry orc takes his shotgun back in hand and makes short work of the remaining droids. "Corvo kills. He does not kill clean."

You're sweating, a little bit. That was quite a bit of action, especially outside of a wanzer. Maybe it's time to try and scav some bullets off of these two dead guys.

Stepping out from behind Corvo's back, you decide to check the intact brother. His droids are not a problem, anymore - since they're out of ammunition and their operators are dead, all they can really do is just click their empty guns at you. Searching the dead man's body, you find...

Two full clips, which get stored in your cargo pants,
One of those fancy holster harnesses, which you put on to put your new handgun in,
and a small palm pilot. Might have some good info in there.

In the time that you took to search the bodies, Corvo disappeared. The big guy probably went to the meeting point, already. You should probably go there, too...but not before making a quick pit-stop.

"Gah!" The old woman squawks, trembling as you enter the building. Her whole body is shaking as you approach one of the shelves, searching for something...aha! "Sweet, a slap-patch. Didn't think you dirt-sodomizers even had this kind of shit. Hey, old lady, mind if I use this? I got money - "

"P-P-P-PLEASE! TAKE IT! D-DON'T HURT ME!"

"Fine, fine. Fuck, it's like I tried to kill YOU or something." You tear the slap patch open, positioning it on your left forearm and securing it there. The slap patch works its magic to sew up the bullet wound's damage, with only a few stings of pain every now and then. "Aaah. Much better." You murmur to yourself. Well, you're probably late, but you could still catch up to them, if you try and take the side roads. You could also just say 'fuck it' and go back home with your new handgun, or you could check out the palm pilot. Running with this thing out would get too much attention on you, probably...

You've spent enough time messing around. You have a mission, and the client's probably left without you. Making sure that your gun was in its holster, you shoot a salute to the old woman who's managing the store before bowing out.

If the south entrance was a slog, the west entrance was practically a standstill. It might just be because you're in a rush, but the main streets seemed to actually be frozen in time! Were people even moving!? "Fuck it, I've got no time for this!" Once again, you would have to rely on the side streets. Like before, you start making your way through the back alleys of the Underdeck, headed toward your new destination. Just like before, none of the street toughs even so much as made a single cat-call while you were glaring at them. The new gun probably helped, but you'd like to think that these styling shades contributed, too.

The closer you get to the west entrance, the more you hear the echoes of a commotion reaching your ears. With your luck, that Anya woman probably got caught up by some other competitors. Just what was so damn important that multiple crews were trying to get at her? What the hell was in her palm-pilot? Interesting questions to note, but you're sure that asking her about it would lead to nothing but trouble.

You step out of the alley just in time to see Corvo being accosted by some guards. Looks like he got into some trouble with the local law enforcement. Behind him, past the entry gate and standing in front of a large eighteen-wheeler truck, were the distressed faces of your current crew. It seems that they were also talking to some guards about this or that. The wanzers were in the truck, no doubt.

But how to get past the guards...

Those guards look dimwitted. Simple, even. Smart money's on them being unable to even tell that you're -

Wait. You look down. Sure enough, the cargo jeans you got are red. Maybe...no. It couldn't work. You're wearing a black tank top and you've got shades on. But, then again...hell, why not? They're more than easy to talk down? You adjust your holster harness around your torso, making sure that it accents your cleavage while still showing off the pistol strapped to your side. Making one final adjustment to your hair and shades, you steel yourself and walk up to the gate.

The confidence in your stride is enough to stun the first guard who caught sight of you. The second one was frozen solid by your sharp gaze, and almost gave you a salute before remembering himself. Finally, you reach Corvo's side, making the guard that he was talking to pause. "...may I help you - " The guard begins to say, but you stop him.

"Soldier, I'm on orders from the Prallat himself to escort Miss Anya Greaves of the Greaves Military-Industry Complex to an undisclosed location. The nature of this mission is top secret, even from our own military. This orcish off-worlder is under my command, meaning that he is under the command of the Grand Prallat himself. Or are you really going to try and stop the will of the Holy Empire?"

1/?
>>
>>39251673
Perfect - he's stunned. Filled with confusion, doubt, and fear, the soldier begins to stammer. You press on the verbal attack, stepping forward and using your considerable height to your advantage. "I won't tell you twice, grunt. Let me and the orc pass, or I'm going to report this to my CO. And I'm sure as shit that you don't want that to happen."

The guard chokes on his words, stammering and stuttering in place. He turns around, gesturing for a soldier to come toward him, and begins to whisper to the man. After that, they part ways, and the soldier turns back to you. "I - I'm sorry for the wait, ma'am! I'll let you pass, now!" He stands at attention and salutes, and the soldiers under him salute you, as well.

Even Corvo's fallen for your disguise. He glares at you angrily as you push him to Anya, Denton, and Bardo Pequino.

When you reach the rest of the crew, you're greeted with a slow nod of approval by Denton, along with some excited clapping from Anya. "Wonderful work! I knew I picked the right person for the job!" She takes your hands and shakes them vigorously. "Now, I've got good news and bad news, but after that display, I'm sure we can turn this bad news into silver lining! On the bad side of things, the second transport truck carrying our second wanzer was ambushed taken down. But our first truck arrived here safe and sound, geared up with the finest in Greaves Private Military Company technology! We don't have time to go and rescue the second truck, since we're already behind schedule, but we at least have one wanzer to watch over us!"

The other hired mercenaries begin to pile into the truck from the passenger's side of the driver's seat, but Denton takes a moment to open up the back. Inside, folded down and cockpit open, was a familiar sight. The wanzer provided on the mission was painted pure white, with no wires or gears showing at all. Everything was sealed off and polished to a chrome finish, giving the appearance of a walking tank. You couldn't get a good look at the leg units, since it was so dark in the truck, but the arms had been replaced with double Vulcan Machinegun Turrets. There wasn't much of a central chassis, but what was there reminded you of one of those fighter ships from the S.S. Iscar - it was basically a long, sharp-nosed cockpit, which had the ceiling open upwards for fast climbing. From here, you could clearly see that the cockpit's inner workings were spaced so that the pilot wasn't scrunched up, and the dashboard - oh, Gods, you could actually make sense of that dashboard!

In short, this thing was a regular-ass wanzer. After the one you've been piloting, this thing's a damn wet dream. You might even have a wet spot on your pants!

Didn't Anya say there was some other pilot? It was probably Corvo, or that one spectacles-wearing asshole. Well, fuck them. You'd better call dibs on this thing before they hop in it. Before that, though, there's the business with the datapad that you got. Anya should probably take a look at it while you all are driving.

Running up to the vehicle part of the truck, you catch Anya's attention with a sharp whistle. "Hey, suit! I got shit for you to look at while we head over to fuck-all-knows. Also, I'm riding in the wanzer. I think I've earned that right." You say, pulling out the palm-pilot and tossing it onto the bemused woman's lap. No one is willing to fight you for the right to the wanzer. After that gun show, you've impressed Corvo...or maybe he just doesn't trust you, because of the talking thing. Either way, the wanzer's yours, for now.

You head back to the trailer of the truck, banging twice on the sides before jumping in. You close the trailer's back behind you and climb aboard the white mech - White Glint, you think to yourself - and settle in.

1/?
>>
>>39252211
The outside looked like something out of a mechanophile's wet dream. The inside feels like you're having sex with a fucking mech. Comfy, plush seats that actually fit your body instead of fighting it from behind; readouts that are clear and concise, not taking up too much room or using too little of it; a dashboard that's labeled so that you know which is the windshield wiper and which one is the weapons warm-up button...oh, Gods. And to think, a month ago, you would have just thought this stuff was standard.

The wanzer starts to rumble - looks like you guys are starting to move. A blinking light is flashing near the radio comms button, and you turn it on.

"Hi! Hey, there, Miss Cuvic! I see you've already settled yourself into the wanzer!" Above the comm radio is a little screen, with Anya's face bouncing up and down. "That's wonderful! We at the Greaves Military-Industry Complex love making a wanzer that fits to the needs of the user! In any case, I'd like to share the plan with you, now. Thanks to the data from the datapad you so happily gave to me, I've found out that we have two more competitors trying to go against us! The first is going to try and intercept us at the road with humvees and flash-riders, while the second group is waiting at the base with a small retinue of wanzers! They really want to get us!"

You turn on the wanzer while Anya's talking, focusing less on her and more on how to control this mech. While this thing might look and feel better, it doesn't ride better - the guns on the wanzer are forward facing only, so you'll have to face the enemy to fire. There's still the right and left triggers, but this thing's got no arms - looks like you'll have to depend on quick bursts and fast evasion to really use this chickenwalker. Ah, well.

"Aaaand that should be it! Anyway, we should be at the complex in about ten minutes, so - "

The comm is interrupted by a large impact to the side of the trailer.

No time to bring the comms up, now. What better way to warm up for the second group than to wipe out some third-rate jobbers?

Instead of a lever and paddles, this wanzer has metal cages to insert your feet in. You're sure that, when you stand the wanzer up, you'll have enough room to actually stand in the mech. Fitting your feet into each cage, you fire a quick salvo of bullets through the back of the trailer, leaping out and onto paved road.

A second later, you hear the whistling of a missile from behind you. A few of the readouts on your dashboard change from white to red. "Missiles Incoming. Please take evasive measures." An onboard AI? A simple one, sure, but an onboard AI? Gods damn, you can't help but fawn over how cool this thing is! You leap forward once more, pushing your feet down and stretching the wanzer out to its full height. Just like before, a missile shoots right past your backside, missing the battery pack.

Jumping works, sure...but how good are the guns on this thing? You turn around and face your adversaries. A few humvees, two motorbikes with mounted rocket turrets in the side car...easy. You aim yourself at the nearest humvee, grab a hold of the two (useless) joysticks, and pull the triggers at the same time.

That humvee doesn't even stand a chance. It could have had titanium plate, for all you care - the Twin Vulcans still made mincemeat out of its side before forcing it to explode.

Your little display of power scares the other vehicles into moving. They're converging around the truck!

This thing doesn't move quite as fast as Myl's does, in terms of raw moving speed, but it sure can turn on a dime. Side-stepping another rocket, you spray another hail of bullets at the second humvee. This time, you're able to see the terrified faces of the driver before they burst into flames. Gods, the way this thing rattles the whole damn cockpit when it fires those Twin Vulcans! You're starting to feel hot, and it isn't just because of the enclosed space.

The two motorbikes are starting to run, but they've got nowhere to hide, now. Instead of wasting precious ammo, you dart forward, raising a metallic chicken leg to crush the flash rider right under your heel. The second flash rider darts off, but it's not fast enough to outrun a giant bullet or ten. You rain down fire upon them from behind, forcing the flash rider to explode.

You...uh...you may need a moment with this thing. Alone.

Your comm beeps in your ear annoyingly, but you take a second to bask in the afterglow. When that second is over, you press the button and clear your throat. "Cuvic here. What's the matter."

Anya looks a little more distressed than before. "That was amazing, Miss Cuvic! But we've got bad news! The second group is laying waste to our secret compound! We'll have to get there as soon as we can! Hurry, get back into the trailer and we'll discuss the details of the second group along the way!" She says. Her voice is even more annoying, now that it sounds scared. You walk back into the trailer, crouching in and folding yourself so that you can actually fit.

While you open the cockpit and cool off, the little comm screen on the White Glint's dashboard pulls away from Anya's face. Denton and Corvo are behind her, with Barbo Pequino on the wheel. "Alright, everyone, I've hired you all for this specific part. Now, the military complex that we're about to reach is top secret. You all aren't allowed into the building itself, but will have to escort me to the main gate. The second group, along with two power-type wanzers, has hired an elite PMC to try and stop me from reaching the main lobby. If I can reach the main lobby, however, you all will have completed your mission and will receive your due payment! Isn't that wonderful? Now, invading the compound won't be easy. It's a giant, open compound in the middle of the wasteland, so the enemy's going to see us coming from all sides. We'll need a few ideas. If any of you have any, please speak now."

The only thing I can think of is kinda suicidal. You and the truck can distract the enemy and the others 2 escort Anya.

That or frontal assault (Front mission in-coming)

>>39253154
Yes, there's little info, but, remember, we´ve never been here in the first place. Is logical to not know about a secret complex.
>>
>>39253195
For now, you just keep quiet. You've got the whole idea of a full-frontal assault in your head, but Corvo seems to want the same thing. Anything that big orc wants is more than likely a bad idea.

Denton pipes up. "...best idea? False Gift. Trojan Horse. Pretend to surrender. Wanzer in the back. Ambush them first. We're dead if they catch you. Stay in the wanzer." He said with a shrug. That didn't seem like a bad idea, honestly. You're damn sure that this wanzer could take the heat, and it'd be easier to take her to the front lobby of the complex if you just run her there. From that point, you and the rest of the mercenaries could just get the hell out of Dodge. Maybe you could even keep this baby!

Barbo chimes in, next. "Senorita, your safety is the first concern. This truck, and el machina in the trailer, is not quite as important. Perhaps a diversionary tactic is in order, mi hermanos? I shall drive el truck into the compound, striking with the wanzer from different sides. You two shall escort la cliente to the drop-off point." Another good idea, that one. It'll be a bit more risky, especially since it depends on you and the truck distracting everyone, but Little Beardy sounds like he had something in mind, other than what he had just said.

Both of these were good plans. The group turned to you. "Well, it looks like your vote could rock the boat. do you want to..."

"Out of all of those plans, the diversionary one sounded the least likely to blow up in our face, if we all fuck up hard. I can keep their shit pushed in with this little beauty, while Pancho Villa fucks up the ground pounders with the truck. You said we'd succeed once we get your ass into the lobby, right? That's fine by me." You say.

The truck stops right outside of the compound's vision. Your nape feels all tingly - oof, this is going to be an intense match. You can feel it. A two on one? Can you really handle this, with just yourself?

Sure you can. You've handled worse. Probably. Your hand starts trailing down to the pistol by your side. Something about having a piece on you is just a little comforting. It's like the squadmate that you know you can trust to do its job, and the one that almost always has your back.

Corvo and Denton dismount, and Anya follows alongside them. They start to head out toward the compound on foot while you jump out of the truck's trailer. On your comm, Barbo tips his sombrero. "Senorita...I have not known you for long. But I can feel el fuego in your espirito. You are, as my people would say, a very strong fighter. It is an honor to fight by your side, mi hermana." He says, revving up the truck's engine.

"...way to make it gay, faggot." You sigh in reply, cracking a small smile. "Well, whatever. You're not bad, yourself. Let's do this shit."

You and the truck rush forward.

The military compound looks like an abandoned laboratory. The exterior of the main building is sun-baked, faded by age and chipped away by time. What drew your attention, however, were the wanzers patrolling the front gate. Just like Anya said, there were two power-type wanzers holding mean-looking guns at the front of the main building. Both mechs were painted navy-blue, triple-plated to each tit, and had their scanners running over the whole compound. On the ground were three squads of four, each one in diamond formation and patrolling the areas that the wanzers couldn't quite get to. Every now and then, the helmeted troopers would raise their wrists to their masks, implying that they were speaking to the wanzers standing guard in front of the gate.

You would be more worried about this if not for what Barbo was planning on doing. The truck careens ahead of you, what with you being unable to pump your legs fast enough to catch up to the damn thing. Veering it to the left, Barbo lets out a loud, angry rally cry, tilting the trailer and releasing it just as the guards noticed his arrival! "Now! Andale, Cuvic!" The little man screamed.

Nice opening. The wanzers scattered in different positions to avoid the trailer, leaving one of them right in your crosshairs. You leap forward, jumping up as high as you can in the air and forcing a downward salvo of bullets right up to the first wanzer. It didn't stand a chance, having been shot right at the joint between the arms and the central chassis. One down.

The trailer had wiped out two of the three ground troops. The last one, diving for cover, seemed to be shooting at the truck and at something else. Looks like the other two engaged the enemy already.

The truck was still driving around, buzzing forward to the wanzer that was still up. Barbo, on your comm screen, was still letting out his rally cry. What the hell was that crazy fucker planning? He was driving right into the line of the wanzer's assault rifle!

The enemy saw you, but they weren't expecting this shit! A crazy midget, a badass in a giant mech, and two soldiers busting lead into their ground troops? It's the perfect crime. Better save Barbo before he gets killed, though.

Swerving to the right, the poncho-wearing dwarf of a man pulls away from the wanzer, heading toward the soldiers instead. They turn their attention on him and away from Corvo and Denton, giving them ample time to peel away from the danger and escort Anya closer to the goal. Meanwhile, you and the wanzer are now facing each other. He wants to turn and try to capture the client, but you're too big of a threat. He already saw what you did to his buddy.

Aiming his gun in your direction, he tries to fire at you...but to no avail! You're too fast! Pulling away from his assault, you quickly fire at his center mass before diving behind cover. It isn't visible, but the sound of metal crashing to the ground means that you've definitely done damage. It isn't a kill, though - his gun is still firing at the upturned trailer. If you want to complete this mission, you're going to have to finish him off!

>Options?

Delicious high rolls. Well...let's see what the dice gods of /tg/ have to say about this.

1 is kicking the trailer to him and crushing his ass flat with a 95.
2 is to flank him and gut him like a Cornish game hen, with an 85.
3 is to jump over the trailer and BRRRRRRRRT from above, with an 89 and a 81, respectively.

>>
>>39253979
Well shit, I think of kicking the truck, post the wrong option and I´m drunk on fucking COKE
>>
>>39253858
All your enemies have been easy. Too easy. Maybe all this military life has just trained you too well. You flip around to the back of the trailer, heading around to the back of the enemy wanzer and firing before you could even get a look at him.

Killing a man from behind is all the more sweet when it's quick and clean. The enemy wanzer only gives the most brief of struggles, trying to move this way and that before eventually falling gracefully to the ground. You shot him in the back, right where his battery pack should be...oh, shit, you could definitely do THAT!

Taking off your shades, you turn the wanzer around and begin to walk away. Five, four, three... you open up the cockpit, stand on your chair, and slowly put your shades back on.

Behind you, the metallic corpse of the enemy makes for a brilliant explosion, framing you in a glorious, red-orange glow. "Hell yeah."

The Homebin - http://pastebin.com/0BwcEJYp. I'll be updating it soon, and I'll add a new pastebin for Flare's Equipment and Character Traits.

I'll be around for a while on my iPad while I brush my teeth and shit. Now would be a great time to ask questions. This quest went on for a little long, but I'm happy people seemed to enjoy it!
>>
>>39254067

Someone hasn't checked the pastebin.

And you guys did too good. I'll have to think of something that is challenging, yet not dependent on RNG.

>>39254132
You sure can, coke-anon. Cocainum is bad for you, though.
>>
>>39254142

If you want smut, draw something.

The drawings incite puggs, the puggs incite smut, the smut incite Anon.
>>
>>39254165
The fact that you know me so well scares me.

And yet, I am comforted by my players' ability to see patterns. Yes, drawing stuff and making OC for my silly little world of wanzers will make me happy. It'll also inspire my ass to make more smut.

My writing isn't all that good, but I'm glad to see people enjoy it. I hope.
>>
>>39254179
will we ever run into this client again? Will we see the aftershocks of this op in the fight coming up?
>>
>>39254201
Perhaps. Perhaps not. I'll wrap it up very quickly in a post or two, next thread, so that we won't get too bogged down with shit.

Suffice to say that your success in this run is going to have ripples in the community. Now that people know what you're capable of, and now that people know how good you are... well, you'll have to see what happens next.
>>
>>39254214

Thank you for saying that I'm doing good! I'll keep at it, for sure.

By the way, do you have this universe planed, or the OC can run wild.

Like too much can ruin some parts of the quest, or do you let the background story at the hands of /tg/?
>>
>>39254244
it gives the world life and our co workers some personality. maybe have a few threads where we get draged along to do some shoppin or whatnot with our coworkers and mechanics.
>>
>>39254265
This OC's run mostly wild, but I have the skeleton planned out, most of the time. Usually, the better threads have a bit of planning a few hours before the quest is up. Today, I spent one hour planning and one hour napping.

>>39254266
Don't give me ideas. I'll actually do that shit. Do you want to go on an S-Link date with Myl!? IS THAT WHAT YOU WANT!? I WILL TAKE YOUR GODDAMN MECHS AND REPLACE IT WITH SOME FUCKING DRESSES, YOUNG MAN.

Seriously, though, I've got some things in mind for the later interactions with all your team. Deks, in particular, is something I hope you guys will like.
>>
>>39254298
>Do you want to go on an S-Link date with Myl!?

No, we will do it with Roy

And he will roll for spaghetti every, single, update. And fail horribly.
>>
>>39254298
or you could put a dress on a mech.

Nice dog by the way, looks chill.
>>
>>39254298
I've been lurking MGNQ, and some of the OC needed to be purged because /tag/ wrote too much background of some characters. And it was awful for deculture.
Too much time wasted for him, and some short-term (on other threads, not in the quest)
What I´m trying to say, is plan not for the world, but for /tag/ and his obsession. And yes, I´m implying that this quest will become something big, just give it time.

>I WILL TAKE YOUR GODDAMN MECHS AND REPLACE IT WITH SOME FUCKING DRESSES, YOUNG MAN.

AND A BUNNY; A FUCKING BOY BUNNY IN A DRESS (and he will fail, again)
>>
>>39254330
You asked for this. I wasn't going to do it, but you asked for it.

>In another time, another place...

Roy dabbed at his forehead with a damp handkerchief. In front of him was the most beautiful woman in the world, Flara Cuvic. God, she was so hot. Between them, two plates of spaghetti, a candelabra, and two glasses of wine. The bottle had been taken away by the waiter, but if it hadn't been, the chubby salaryman would have been downing that shit hard.

His boss was a scary, scary woman. She wasn't eating her food so much as playing with it, watching the man in front of her sweat his man-tits out. Behind her rimless shades were the hungry eyes of a predator sizing up its prey. He didn't know whether to hate her or love her for it. Roy speared some pasta on his fork, lifting it up to his face...

"I brought you here to talk about your performance, Roy."

Oh, shit. The spaghetti that was hovering to his maw fell off of the fork, splattering onto his dirty suit.

>Captcha : Traph

He knew he should have listened to /r9k/! No woman would have ever gone out with a KV like him! This was a total trap!
>>
>>39254369
Autocorrect changed /tg/ to /tag/.

No more spiked coke for me...today
>>
>>39254369
I don't know what /tag/ is. I don't know if I want this quest to be big - I just want people to be happy.

I want a big, happy crowd, sure, but I'm wise to the ways of 4chan - if I attract too much attention with the things I do, I might piss people off, or have people make fun of me. I don't want that.

>>39254366
I don't have pics of my pug on my PC. They're all in a secure place. I will never upload my pug...well, unless I find that hard-drive full of important shit. I'm still looking for it.

>>39254378
Oh, /tg/ is - oh. Okay. Yeah, no, I'm not going to be pressuring you guys to make OC for my world. If you'd like to, sure. All I ask is that you try not to mess too much with the main line stuff. It's not like my world's all that interesting, anyway - I'm not sure why you guys would want to write OC for it.
>>
>>39254400
wait we can do that? Seems kinda...weird? What do you mean by OC? Traditional definiton or some new 4chan phrase?
>>
File: pugexercise.jpg (33 KB, 400x276)
33 KB
33 KB JPG
>>39254418
Traditional definition.

I mean, I don't really see why people would do it, but if they do, who am I to stop them? It's your time, it's your story. Whether or not I choose to incorporate it into the main story is my choice, but I usually try to be a nice guy and put it in. Unless it's just something out there, like...oh, say...

Flare has a penis. That shit, I won't stand for. Come on, now, have class. If it's something more classy, like...oh, say...

In the island continent of La Bluga, there is a small lab developing portal technology. It is here that blah blah insert OC here.

I'm fine with that. I'd even add reports of that in, somehow. Or something.

well frankly I don't know enough about your world to even think about a OC so...yeah...

Maybe a faction within the empire who wants to gain control and is willing to break out gladiators in return for helping with the coup/revolution?

wild shot in the dark here.
>>
>>39254456
Go for it, man. I mean, I've already got some form of revolution planned out, since a whole world cannot be reasonably ruled by one people, unless they have some fundamental - wait, shit, they already have the religion angle.

But yeah, no, you could do it. Again, I see no reason why anyone would WANT to write OC, but if they think I'm that cool of a guy...go for it.

I would feel honored if people wrote content for this quest. I would feel very happy.
