By the time you leave the sandwich shop, it's getting to be a little later in the afternoon. Your headache's gotten much better now, though you've still lost track of time more than you're comfortable with in the last two hours.

You head back towards campus, idly checking your phone. Nothing new here. Still a little bit before you've scheduled the raid to start.

You don'r really have to take off your headgear—not for the reason that it's ridiculous, actually. No one thought they'd catch on at first: similar equipment started as peripherals for existing computing devices, but when larger companies jumped on board, the technology went along faster than imagined, not for the purpose of virtual reality gaming so much as for the promise of hands-free computing. A few years later, no one bats an eye at Google Glass and its ilk. You see them just about everywhere; not a lot when people are on the job, at least when it comes to retail, but often on the street, and almost always in your classes.

Granted, your setup is just a little bit chunkier than most. You remove it for the time being anyway, just because it's starting to bother you. You're heavier than in Broken Sky Online, not that you're overweight, but that out here, you can't jump as high as you are tall. Still a bit disoriented, you find yourself checking your corners a bit as you make your way back to your room.

As you enter, you decide to forget about the whole issue of the LAN club, realizing that it's just about that time now. It probably wouldn't have been terribly exciting.

You text Eric as you make your way around your room, stretching your arms high above your head so as not to be a vegetable. With a groan, you lean back, falling onto your bed, hand extended to the side with your smartphone in your palm. You're fed, you guess, and hydrated as well. There isn't really a whole lot else to do. Really, you don't want to do anything else.

One of the tavern's walls looks like it's been replaced since you got here. Aelriss, Ayla, and Tatsumaki are already present, and you see Donnel approaching from the opposite street as you draw closer.

“Hey.” Ayla smiles. “Ascherite.”

“Do you guys want to find a spot inside?” Aelriss folds her arms.

“Did the game update earlier?” You ask, as the four of you make your way inside. The message board console is gone, as is the entire bulletin board area; you notice that that wall has definitely been replaced, and there are no tables on the side of the room. There's a player playing bartender behind the counter, with waist-length hair and what you think is the maximum avatar bust size. You continue, sitting down at the only remaining table large enough to accommodate the rest of your group. “What was that about?”

“Yeah, people are talking. No one's noticed anything different at all.” Ayla says. “There's no release notes.”

“I'm thinkin' it was mostly server-side stuff. How the hell else are they gonna roll out an update like that while people are still logged in?” Donnel says. “I got back on a little bit ago. We got a warning on our UI, and that's about it.”

“That's foreboding.” Aelriss sighs.. “Anyway, what about the Sanctum? We going in blind?”

“Beyond what the fortune-teller gave me, I don't really have anything else.” You suggest. “This game has a way of keeping us in the dark. Ayla?”

“No, you're about right. Even with a group of ten, we'll have to take the first couple of fights cautiously to see what the place is going to throw at us.” The Technician nods. “Likewise, with that kind of manpower, there's no sense leaving any stone unturned when it comes to searching the place for loot and technology.”

“And Celestial Gems.” Aelriss adds.

“So, uh. Is she going to be a problem?” Donnel speaks quietly, pointing at Tatsumaki, who frowns at him. “What with the mute business.”

“She hasn't let us down so far.” You shrug.

At the door, you see Nel and Dorian enter at about the same time. They approach the table separately, but arrive simultaneously, giving each other strange looks as they arrive.

“Ayla? This is the group we'll be traveling with?” Dorian says, pausing before cutting you a glare.

“No, Dorian.” She responds. “Ascheritte is leading his own group. The ten of us will be working together once we're down there. Try to get used to it.”

>>
>>38640762

as if we would let them, they can get fucked if they think they can feed our cg's to their taskmistress.

also, we should agree on a system to divide them before we find them

I propose one CG for each party upon finfing it, when a party recieves one the next one goes to the other.

inside the party there should be a roll of some kind to decide who keeps it, and whoever gets it is out of the next rolls until everyone has goten one.

This way we can have a balance between guild CGs and our crew's CGs

we will probably stick together, I think all Cgs could be claimed by either group, we should "pick from the hat" but make sure nobady hogs them all
>>
>>38641284

>>
>>38641318

The walk toward the lower branch is quiet. At the city's gates, you rendezvous with another group of three: you recognize Andor, standing alongside two unknown members of the Crimson Guardians. One of them approaches you—strong features, full plate armor, a claymore, and a red cape, with wavy hair and a bit of stubble around his chin—extending a hand in greeting.

“You're Ascheritte?” He asks. “Kainzo. Liza told me you'd be leading your group?”

“Well, actually, Nel is.” You look over your shoulder, but Nel waves you off.

“Nah, it's cool. I got my turn already.” He says. “I trust you, Ashe.”

“Right, then.” Kainzo says. He pauses, and gestures to the girl at his side: blonde hair, with a tight-fitting hooded cloak, and a pair of gauntlets and high greaves that share a wicked spiked motif. “This is Vyx, one of our new members.”

“Hello.” She smiles. “It's good to meet you.”

“Ayla, he's the one that found out the trick with the statue?” Andor asks. “I recognize him.”

“Yep. Ascheritte knows what he's doing, no need to worry.” Ayla says. “He, Tatsumaki, and Donnel are their heavy-hitters. Aelriss is running support duty, and Nel is, uhm.”

“Diversionary tactics.” Aelriss responds, eliciting a groan from Nel.

“Well, I'm glad to meet the lot of you. I'm Andor, second-in-command of the Disposable Heroes.” He grins. “I'm sure you've seen me around town here and there.”

“Of course.” Donnel says. “Most of you don't need an introduction, really. I'm surprised to see so many Alliance officers in one place—glad to be a part of it all, that is.”

"Well, whatever the case." Andor says. "I'm damn excited to be a part of this run. All told, it's refreshing after all the Nameless damage control I've done in the last couple of hours. Has your group figured out anything about the update?"

“Nope. Hey, where's Liza?” Nel pouts. “She too good for us?”

“She's busy. I can tell she contemplated coming, but I insisted it wasn't necessary.” Kainzo says. “I'll be acting as the leader of our party.”

“How are we dividing loot?” You ask. The ten of you are moving as a crowd, until you see the ancient cathedral come into view beyond rocks and falling water. The Construct Guardians nearby are dead, and you think you can hear sound from inside.

“A split between the affiliated parties seems the fairest, does it not?” Kainzo asks. “Between us, we've Crimson Guardians, Writ Keepers, Disposable Heroes, and your band, Ascheritte.”

“Split between our four allegiances and subdivide further?” You ask. The ten of you make your way up the steps in formation. You're not sure what class Vyx is, as she looks unarmed, and is hanging sort of in the middle of the group. Right now, what's on your mind, though, is ensuring the loot is divided fairly. You need more Celestial Gems. “There's five of just us. That's not exactly in our favor.”

“Isn't that the price you pay for your individual status?” Kainzo shrugs. “We—at least, the Gurdians—share a portion of what we earn with the members of our guild. If you're suggesting we profit more than you as individuals...”

“Nah.” Nel folds his arms. “Keep feeding Celestial Gems to your leader, like she tells you to.”

“Nel...” Ayla says, attempting to cut him off. “I'm sorry, Kainzo, he means—”

“No, no! It's part of being in the Alliance. You've got to give.” Nel says. “Soon Liza will be flying all around Averron while you can't even get a Celestial Artifact for yourself.”

“You're right. Issue is, I don't need to.” Kainzo says, unamused. “I already have one.”

“Wait, what?” Donnel asks.

“Are you quite done, then?” Kainzo continues, bearing down on a silent Nel.

“Oi, quit it, you two.” Ayla hisses. “Nel, you're acting like an ass.”

“I didn't know there were more Artifacts around.” Aelriss says, attempting to clear the air.

“We've attempted to use discovered Altars in the lower branches, so as not to generate hype. I'd be glad to tell you all about it...” Kainzo smiles, turning away from her to face Nel. “...later.”

You enter in time to catch the end of a battle. Gathered around a cathedral pew, there's a band of five Nameless licking their wounds; you see a fresh Obsidian Pegasus corpse nearby, surrounded by stone soldiers. You recognize three of the Nameless: the three girls, identical in all aspects but hair color. You fought them here before. Ahead, you see the Sanctum door, as well as the underground waterway and the path to Velika's Tomb. There's stairs to your left and right that lead to the upper walkway and the study.

"Nameless." Donnel says, reaching for his straight sword. "I remember those three. Are they back already?"

"Ah, those were the girls from outside, with Kalim." Aelriss frowns.

"Let's wait by the doors." Donnel says. "We can kill them when they try to leave."

"Woah, woah." Andor says. "We're not in a PVP zone. Don't try to stir shit."

Let's just go, If we're in the no pvp zone we can clear it out and camp there. Not worth dealing with them right now. Besides the sooner we get this done the sooner we can find something to fix the message boards if we're lucky. Head to door and use key.

>>38642009
>Ignore them, you're here to raid and that's what you'll do.
We best get in to make an assault on that boss before they do, considering they must have just picked a key up and all.

It's possible they'll try to join the fight. I guess we could tell them beforehand that if they interfere with our business in any way we'll kill them the instant we get into a PvP zone again.

So. On that note we can assume that nameless can keep their character progress when they die and respawn since those nameless are in no state to handle a pegasus otherwise.

This arguably makes them more of a threat: they can take bigger risks than IDers since they're not back to scratch if the gamble doesn't pay off. Presumably part of the reason they were so eager to try a revolt of sorts.

I'd assume this is also how DH hasn't fallen apart already
>>
>>38642167
No they explicitly can't, seems like they have a better supply base than we thought though. The have no battle skills, or carry over loot. They do however remember how to fight.

>and they've got to use bags for all of their equipment, inventory, and coins, whereas the 'Named' can just keep their stuff in their UI.”
Meaning they are lootable, you get looted no carry over. They might keep their class skills though. They'd be restricted but still potent if used right.
>>
>>38642275
You're right about loot being lost, I meant level and skills by character progress though. They'd just need to find a source of easily farmable weapons like those obsidian spears to be pretty formidable though, coupled with an investment into dodging rather than mitigating damage so that armour becomes optional...

“Agreed,” You suggest. “It's not worth dealing with them right now. Follow me.”

You and Kainzo push your way to the front of the group. He glances over at you briefly, and you merely nod in response.

“Don't even think about following us.” Donnel says, glaring at the Nameless as you pass.

A set of small steps elevates the front end of the Cathedral toward its podium, where any speaker would stand high above their congregation. Behind it, the massive Sanctum door, where the Keystone must fit. You lift it, and it rises out of your hands, carried upward on a cloud of brilliant white light that guides it to the center.

The door slowly opens, and the ten of you pace backwards to make room. Ahead, you see the Sanctum.

A spiral staircase leads upward, and there's a distant sound of metal scratching on glass, rhythmic like footsteps. Through the translucent floor, you can see down into the underground waterway. For a moment, you feel as if you're being watched. Ahead, a long hallway, with a ceiling still many times as high as you are tall. Doors line the walls, and you see stationary, humanoid statues, crafted from durable-looking metals and luminescent gems.

At the far end, there's one that towers above all the others, a single red eye glowing in the center of its head.

“This place looks pretty tough.” Andor says. “We could always split into groups of five, just to make sure we can clean everything out.”

“Split, and we lose out on the best loot in exchange for an easier ride.” Kainzo responds. “At least, that's what I think it says.”

“I'm up for risking it.” You suggest. “Though risk assessment hasn't always been my strong suit.”

“Tell me about it.” Ayla folds her arms.

“Any other opinions?” You ask.

“I agree, if it counts.” Kainzo's finger is hovering over the button. “No going back, then?”

You nod.

> [[ Difficulty set. ]]

“Uhm, guys?” Vyx says. “Twelve o'clock?”

“Yep, incoming!” You hear Donnel shout, and there's the sound of weapons being drawn. A rumbling from straight ahead grows louder, as the army of statues is roused to action all at once. They outnumber you at least two to one, and are faster than before, stone bodies and crude weapons caked in jagged sheets and peaks of tourmaline crystal, decorated with jewelry and alchemical catalysts.

At the back, the cyclops takes a heavy step forward.

“Oh, hell. That's a lot.” Aelriss says.

“Damn, they weren't kidding.” Ayla produces another handheld explosive from her UI, assuming a fighting stance. “Let's get to it, then! Now's no time to freeze up!”

They're almost upon you already, but you've got a moment to react.

“Ayla, how many of those do you have?!” You shout over the sounds of charging footsteps, stone on heavy glass, jeweled feet scratching beneath.

“Three! They're a little expensive, but I think this is a fair occasion!” She shouts.

“Blast 'em, then!” Nel shouts. You watch it sail overhead, landing dead center in the group. Jagged, purple rings of light ripple outward, then there's a large blast, a burst of force, and an expanding cloud of energy that bathes you in heat and silhouettes the oncoming attackers.

> [[ Relic Watcher was defeated. ]]
> [[ Relic Watcher was defeated. ]]
> [[ Relic Watcher was defeated. ]]

They're scattered. A wall of smoke hits the group before the Watchers do, and there's the sound of bits of stone hitting the floor around you, shimmering tourmaline dust hanging in the air. You hear Kainzo shout. “Ranged attackers, focus on one target!”

A beat—are there any ranged attackers?

“Me!” Vyx half-shouts, half-squeaks from behind you, cartwheeling to the side, away from the group. She's holding two strange-looking Casters in her hands, and unleashing a hellish rain of red bolts on the crowd. They fire faster than any weapons you've seen so far, and at first you see her taking single shots at each of the targets in the group, hitting much more accurately than should be possible while upside-down and moving: then, she begins aiming for the more weakened targets. One or two break rank to chase after her.

Without Ayla's guns in her hands, you've only one ranged attacker. Which complicates what's going to happen next.

“Donnel!” You shout. Kainzo looks over, and calls out as soon as he sees you start to move.

“Aelriss, take his place!” The Guardian says, pressing forward for room to take a wide swing of his claymore.

“What, me?” Aelriss yells, moving forward. “Going!”

You're not sure how to activate the skill, thinking of Concussive Strike: then, you feel it. Guided by your blade, you surge forward, crossing the gap between yourself and Donnel faster than you thought yourself able, and intercepting the Watcher that threatens to break your line with an immensely powerful strike. You catch it in the air as it dives for him, and feel your blade bite into its stone body. There's a lash of flame, a heat within that melts away crystal surrounding the immediate impact site: then, a mighty burst of force that launches the stone monster away, shattering it against the wall.

You duck low, maneuvering to one side. A few inches shorter, and a crystal-caked blade would have bisected you. Luckily, you're too fast for something like that. The stone soldier pauses, empty eyes looking into yours briefly, before you bring your weapon around to decapitate it, flames licking at the point of impact.

Well, you try, but your sword stops at the neck. It attempts to pierce you with its own blade, but you curve your body nimbly to the side and finish it off with another swing—god damn.

It's getting closer, and you watch Nel leap down from the stair-rail and hit it in the leg. His iron knives basically bounce off, completely harmlessly, and the massive golem turns toward him, slamming a fist down hard enough to crack the glass beneath it.

That doesn't bode well. He freezes for a second before bounding off, the enormous creature in tow. “C'mere, ugly!”

“Gunner.” Nearby, you hear Dorian—what has that motherfucker even been doing? “Behind you.”

“No way, really!?” Vyx responds sarcastically, turning to face her attackers. They're almost upon her, but Dorian leaps forward, raising his staff and discharging a blade of air, visible, withering, in the direction of the Watchers. It doesn't travel far, but...

“Duck low!” As you charge forward, you hear a distant, ghostly sound of a cavalcade of horses, echoic hoofbeats that herald your approach. The gold of your armor lights up as you charge forward, and a pair of ghostly, golden wings flash into existence at your back—for just a brief instant—as you leap into the air over a diving Aelriss, wasting no movement, losing no energy. It feels like someone's thrown you, and you capitalize on the opportunity, putting your weapon through the chesf of a Relic Watcher as you land.

> [[ Ascheritte defeated Relic Watcher. ]]

The other towers over you, but Kainzo moves to your side, putting a claymore between the two of you, and carrying into a wicked horizontal swing.

> [[ Kainzo defeated Relic Watcher. ]]

As the last of them falls, the golem stops and stomps in place, reticulated cracks spreading out from the glass beneath it. Nel's stride is broken, and he turns to watch.

The next move comes without warning. It leans forward with newfound speed, and a searing beam surges forth from the red eye, cutting across Nel's chest and sending him spiraling to the ground a few feet away. It scorches a trail on the floor as it sweeps toward the rest of the party, and the golem begins to stomp towards the center of the group.

Okay... So we've got the choice of fighting it on the stairs or in the labyrinth.

The labyrinth had constructs milling about the last time we were there right? I'm thinking stairs is by far the better option, hell we might even be able to force it off and down it with fall damage.

I have a feeling that Ayla's bombs are liable to shattering the glass so getting her to hold off on using those is probably a good idea.

Besides, then we can lob them down at it if it falls through by itself.

If we get an opportune moment we might wanna see what loot the initial enemies had on them in case they have something heavy we can stick in our UI, run up the stairs, and then take out and throw down. That'd give Nel something to do at any rate.

“Ascherite, move!” Ayla says. But the light hasn't died in your armor yet, and you feel as if there's motion still stored within you. You use it to bring yourself forward, sliding across the floor on your knees a distance; the golem's head moves to follow you, and you feel the heat of the beam just off your scalp.

“Nel!” You shout, closing the distance with the golem. “You okay?”

“I won't be after another hit from that!” He struggles to his feet, not taking his eyes off the golem. “I'd ask you to make it stop, but I'm literally useless!”

“It's not you. Your weapons aren't doing enough damage.” Kainzo responds. The Guardian moves left, then right, gleaming claymore in both hands. “If you don't think you're doing enough, try to find another angle of attack! That goes for all of you! Ascheritte, with me! Ranged attackers, find a position and DPS!”

He's able to make it into range, cape fluttering, and cut a shallow gash in the golem's crystalline leg before having to dodge again, the beam firing wildly from its rotating head. Then, a flicker, as a transparent image mirrors his latest movements, cutting deeper than before.

“We need a plan!” You call, taking a stance lower to the ground. “It's not stopping!”

“I'm dodging this fucking laserbeaaaaaaaam!” Vyx is running left and right, sliding across the ground, jumping up and down, dive-rolling, cartwheeling: basically, imagine anything that's not shooting. Dorian's in about the same position, but doesn't seem anywhere near as agile as her—to make matters worse, it looks like it takes time for him to use his attacks. “This is super not fair!”

“His head is spinning! It'll just throw Eunoia off!” Aelriss is making her way toward Nel, her familiar perched on her shoulder.

>>
>>38644498
Right, so since it appears that the laser attack isn't stopping any time soon we can't really hole up on the stairs, it just limits our motion and leaves us sitting ducks for the laser to wipe us.

I'm still not super fond of dropping into the labyrinth, but the corridors should do a good job of limiting the effectiveness of its laser.

I'm thinking we eat the moonroot whilst running up the stairs and try to land a plunging Concussive Strike Power Charge and bust it through the glass floor in one. Sound like a daft enough plan that could go horribly right to y'all?
>>
>>38644483
>Then, a flicker, as a transparent image mirrors his latest movements, cutting deeper than before.
oh fuck.

>>38644498
>Get Nel healed. His after-image skill will probably be helpful.
>Maybe we can get the laser to hit his mirror image?
it's crystalline. Maybe crushing damage(Tatsumaki) will fare better?

> Consume moonroot herb to restore PP for Concussive Strike.

>>

> Consume moonroot herb to restore PP for Concussive Strike.
Run up the stairs above the golem and jump down while activating our armor and hit the eye with a concussive strike as we fall on top of it
>>
>>38644498
We need a party breakdown to formulate a plan.
>3 heavy hitters, melee
>1 distraction, melee
>2(?) ranged
That's all I've been able to keep track of. If we can keep kitting him around, we might be able to wear him down.

I'm up for this plan. Let's warn Aelriss first so she's ready to heal us though.

>Throw Stone Spear at head?
Onyx Weapon [[ Granted by: onyx-studded gauntlets ]]: Attacks with onyx weapons will deal bonus damage to unarmored targets, but are overall less effective against heavy armor than standard weapons.
Probably not the best course of action, though nice idea.

>>38644591
Clearly it's a good idea, right? Great minds think alike and so on...
>>
>>38644556
Remember there my be other constructs down in the maze. Also, while the laser will be limited, our ranged attackers will be as well.
>>
>>38644588
We've got potions to use
>>
>>38644610
Yeah, that's true, but the regular constructs are easy enough to handle. Nel is more than capable of downing several on his own afterall

>>38644614
Fair point.
>>
>>38644578
Aelriss is a support caster type thing, I have no idea what Dorian is doing, Ayla's throwing bombs, and I don't think Andor's been mentioned. I think that's the other 4, unless you included one of them in that list

As for a plan? I'm thinking break the glass with a bomb or concussive strike or somehow break the spinning (seriously that's bullshit) crystal
>>
>>38644498
>DO NOT smash the floor

At best it'll buy us a little time. At worst, It'll add more mooks to the mix and separate everyone.
>>
>>38644606
>That's the Phantasm Strike ability.
oh, so it's not the GOLEM'S after-image, it's Kainzo's gotcha.
>>
>>38644578
Us: melee bruiser
Nel: melee rougue
Tatsumaki: melee bruiser
Aelriss: healer, buffer(?)
Donnel: I /think/ he was melee bruiser?

Raizo: melee bruiser
Vyx: gun toting rouge
Ayla: gun user, also has 2 remaining bombs
Dorian: Seems to be a caster that hits pretty heavy. Looks like he's being stingy with his PP
Andor: Melee from the character art, not sure we really know what he does exactly yet

The laser flies wide, and you see it sear upward, ripping through Dorian's shoulder, sending his staff tumbling to the ground a distance away. He turns, then falls forwards, hitting the floor to avoid further damage.

“Dorian!” Ayla shouts. She's finally got her casters up, trying to pick up a pattern in the madness so she can get shooting.

“I'm fine! I'm fine!” He responds. “I just need to...”

“OhmygodI'mfuckingdeaaaaaaaaaaa—” Vyx is sprinting across the room, firing at the golem, with the beam at her ankles. Whatever she keeps doing, it's giving you plenty of space. You're already halfway up the stairs, chewing on the end of a moonroot herb by the time it sees you.

> [[ PP: 8/8 ]]

It restores your PP. You're ready for another strike.

> [[ 48 ]]

“Ascheritte! What are you doing?!” Aelriss yells.

“Something amazing!” The laser flicks upward, cutting into the stairs behind you. For a second, you wonder if environmental fixtures can fall: then, you feel a searing heat across your arm and your side, even through your armor.

> [[ HP: 25 / 35 ]]

Still more than you had when you started. You pick up speed. Though the stairs are curved, you focus on a point straight ahead, invoking a glow in your armor's golden bands, and dive over the railing once you're high enough overhead. You see your party fighting below as you fall, and the transient shadow of your ethereal wings, cast upon the ground beneath you by the light far above.

> [[ Continued ]]
>>
>>38645176

> [[ 18 ]]

It tilts upward, turning the laser on you, then raises its arms. You've got some semblance of maneuverability, afforded to you by your greatly enhanced strength in this world, but it doesn't prepare you for a conical blast of tourmaline shards that break on your armor and lacerate your exposed flesh. You bring your arms up in front of your eyes. It stings.

> [[ HP: 17 / 35 ]]
> [[ Moonroot Poisoning: Dizzy ]]
> [[ Dazed ]]
> [[ Severe Bleeding ]]

> [[ 96 ]]

> [[ HP: 14 / 35 ]]

Hoofbeats herald your approach as you bring your sword down. You stagger as you swing, blood surging from your wounds. You feel yourself stiffening as you fire your Concussive Strike. You hit, but not the crystal, blade striking home in the massive golem's shoulder. Then, the force carrying you down catches up with you, compounding with the immense power behind the Concussive Strike.

You feel an enormous segment of the stone body shattering, and see a surge of flame from your enchanted weapon rise up around you, light reflecting off a rain of crystalline dust. There's a flash of blinding light from the construct's eye, and you hear glass shattering from all around you, over the sounds of the members of your raid yelling.

Then, you tumble into darkness.

Archiving. We'll continue here next time. :^)

hey guys, I was not here for the full session but when we go back we should search the pegasus body the nameless girls killed, they can't pick up cg's after all and if we leave them there Anax or someone else is going to get it
>>
>>38647883
While that IS something I hadn't realised although I wasn't here at that time as well, the nameless probably would attack us for doing it. It's the most passive aggressive thing we could do to them.

I guess if the corpse hasn't despawned, we can try later.
>>
>>38648017
They couldn`t as this is a no pvp zone.....but still I don`t know if they count as players.

I actualy wanted to talk with them seeing that this would be the perfect place to do it with no risk of getting into a fight. I`m willing to reason with them as one of our objectives is to given another chance with the offering of the UIs and all
>>
>>38648323
I'm down with that, but pick: talk or loot. Looting would sour any negotiations, and talking isn't likely to get much done. We have top officers from the main guilds, people who've just fought them, and there are a lot more of us.

Success would be information. Crit would be them trusting us to not shoot them with their back turned and vice-versa.
>>
>>38648391
I would rather talk, but I can see the leaders gettibg n the way of actual progress on the issue.

The looting idea was more on the chance that they already left by the time we go back......if we go back, things are not looking good.
