You don't have skill in setting traps, you never studied or practiced trap setting when you were a pirate, and you never had cause to when you were spending time in the village.
>>
alright welp starving them out would take too long, running in guns blazing would probably be painful for us same with fighting them head on with their supirior numbers would also be ill advised, how about smoking them out?

also hi op, welcome back
>>
>>37522226
You going for a 'burn shit around them' or going to go with 'bring the captain's body out and then burn down the ship' route?

And thank you!
>>
>>37522289
Smoke grenade out of a burning torch out of the question ?
>>
>>37522372
You can find a torch in the captain's quarters, if you looked. So definitely in the cards.
What were you going to do with it?
>>
link to last thread?
>>
>>37522394
Well if we can't get them to come out find the powder room, and run like hell.
>>
>>37522289
i would suggest taking the captains body onto our ship. more like make a contained fire or something and fill where they are up with smoke they are ether gonna come out to escape the potential fire or they will pass out from the breathing in too much smoke
>>
>>37522289
another thought would be to barracade the doors so they cant escape and haul the ship with them alive into the next marine port. looting the captains room may net us something nice plus find out who we are dealing with
>>
>>37522409
http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive.html?tags=Huck%20Finn

>>37522500
This is a viable idea.

>>37522457
As is this.
>>
>>37522554
i"ll throw in a roll for whatever people think will work the best. keeping our potential for loss down to a minimum is good in my books plus keeping the ship in good condition is another thing on my agenda. if we can sell it it will be bonus funds to fuel the machine.
>>
>Look for a torch and try to smoke them out. (I don't know how you'd do this on a ship that's caulked)
>Try to find gunpower and KABOOM the fuckers.
>Burn the ship down.
>Keep them locked in the lowerdecks and tow the ship to Fuka Island.
>>
We are a pirate on an ex-pirate ship, right? Don't we should have at least one cannon on board?
>>
>>37522711
You an ex-pirate on an ex-pirate ship, yes. But no, the vessel you're on isn't outfitted with cannons.
>>
>>37522733
Okay then.

>>Keep them locked in the lowerdecks and tow the ship to Fuka Island.
>>
>>37522708
>>Keep them locked in the lowerdecks and tow the ship to Fuka Island.
this is probably our best choice as smoking them out seems like it might not work

That said, we should have memorized the pirates' flags. Should give us a clue to who's who.

'Put something heavy over the hatch, Mia,' you order, already sick of waiting for them to come out. 'We're going to tow this ship back to Fuka Island.'

'Aye, captain.' She replies, walking to the captain's quarters and returning with as barrel of gun powder. 'This'll do nicely,' she comments, shifting it until it's on top of the hatch to the lower quarters.

'Good, now let's get back on the ship.' You continue, walking to the edge and jumping to your sloop.

'Why exactly are we taking the whole ship back with us to Fuka Island?' Mia asks, confused.

'Well, who knows, we could sell the ship off to someone, we could get extra for the living pirates, we could keep the ship and sell this one, if we really wanted.' You respond, turning the ship's wheel around to starboard and sailing in the direction you came from.

It takes the better part of the afternoon and some of the evening before you get back to Fuka Island, getting there at around 7 o'clock.

'Now, let's see what our captives are doing, shall we?' you ask Mia, walking to the rear of your sloop and jumping ship.

You see that the powder barrel is where you left it, albeit moves an inch to the side. It seems like they've tried to get out of their little prison.

'Are we going to move it and let them out, captain?' Mia queries from beside you, looking down on the barrel.

>We'll bring their captain to the Bounty Collection Office and decide from there.
>We'll bring their captain to the Bounty Collection Office and ask for a squad of marines to come with us to arrest them.
>Nah, we'll just let them rot in there.
>Yes, we'll let them out, you'll go in swinging, and I'll follow you shooting at any openings you cause.

one of us should stay and keep an eye on em make sure they dont try anything stupid.

>We'll bring their captain to the Bounty Collection Office and decide from there.

Put another barrel of gunpowder on top of the hatch before going. Or two.
>>
>>37523197
thinking about it gunpowder may not be the best option do we have anything else to weigh it down with?
>>
>>37523250
Nothing else.
>>
>>37523250
Well, that gunpowder barrels should be a nasty suprise for them if they decided to go out with guns blazing.

Or we could just take all the sails and leave them stranded outside of port while we keep our rifle trained at them from our ship. Let Mia call the marines.

Also, are the pistols single shots or what?
>>
>>37523371
Normal One Piece pistols, one reload is like 15 shots.
>>
>>37523371
removing the sails would be a good idea that and removing the life boats if there are any

'Reckon we can leave them there without risk of them getting out?' You ask Mia, paranoia in your mind.

'I think we can, captain,' she replies, 'if not, then we can always track them down again,' she continues with a smile.

'Good, good, now we're going to bring their captain to the Collection Office and ask for a squad of marines to come by and pick up our captives.'

'Excellent plan, Huck,' she responds.

As you make your way through the straight path to the Marine Base, you pass the man who tried to rip you off on clothes closing up his stall for the day.
>Give him the finger
>Leave it, he's not worth anything.

Finally, you get to the Collection Office with Mia carrying the (previous) pirate captain over her shoulder.

'Ah, you've got another already?!' the Collection Officer exclaims in surprise, 'who is it this time?' he asks, respect in his eyes.

'We actually don't know, we'd like you to give an ID on him, if possible,' you answer him, curiosity in your voice.

After rifling through the bounty posters and comparing them to the remains of the pirate's face, he comes up with a name. 'It looks like this is Kinter Young, you can tell by the anchor tattoo the right side of his face, see? Where exactly did you find him?' He asks.

'A few hours west of here, actually. Pretty close by.' you reply.

'Well... That's not exactly where I'd consider him going...' the Officer responds with some confusion. 'He's usually seen a couple days away from here, all the way around Quint Island, it's really strange to see him leave his home waters...'

>I smell something fishy!
>Well, it's probably nothing.
>Hmm, odd. But I don't really care.

'Hmm, that's odd. A little too odd for my liking.' You say, paranoia has kept you alive for this long, and taking notice of something that's out of the ordinary will continue to keep you alive.

'Yes, it is. He hasn't moved from the waters surrounding Quint Island for over a year. I wonder why he's moved now...' The Collection Officer replies, he clearly doesn't like it either.

'Looks like we'll have to investigate it, captain,' Mia says with a smile, she can sense the adventure! 'After we collect the bounty, of course' she continues with a nod in the direction of the Officer.

'Of course, of course!' He responds, shaking his head at his forgetfulness. 'Six million, here we are!' He continues, preparing to count the money out. 'I assume it'll be in notes rather than gold?'

'Of course,' you say with a smile.

God, it's not much, but more than a lot of people get in a month!

'Good, good. I'l make it so there's always a supply of notes here for when you bring in pirates then, shall I?' He asks.

'Yes again!' smiling even wider this time.

'Also,' you say, remembering what you said earlier to Mia, 'I'll be needing a squad of marines down at the docks, there are some pirates in the cargo hold in a ship I captured this afternoon.'

'Live pirates? Good! We'll send a squad down immediately' he replies, pulling the bell behind him.

In no time, a marine comes down the stairs to the Office. 'Sir!' he says saluting formally.

'Yes, yes, no need to salute, child.' He says, rather annoyed.

Maybe this guy's rank is higher than you thought?

'I'll need a squad of marines to go down to the docks, this man will show you the way, I take it?' he continues, swiveling to face you, a question on his face.

'Of course, I'll be delighted to.' You reply.

>Ask if this gets you a higher bounty.

'We'll be ready in a short while, sir!' the marine says, saluting again.

'They're always so hard on salutes, these younglings are,' the Officer tsks from his seat, handing you the money.

'Why exactly are they 'so hard on saluting'?' you ask inquisitively, packing the notes into your ever-present bag.

'Well, I've got a reputation, you see, they used to call me 'the pirate killer',' he replies with a shake of his head. 'Oh, those were the days!'

Gods, this man might still be strong even though he's passed his prime!

'What's your name, anyway?' You ask, 'I figure I'll have to get to know the man that's going to be collecting my bounties!' you continue with a smile.

'Ah, a cocksure one, this one is!' The officer replies with a smile matching yours.

'I've got to be, I guess if I'm not then someone else will be, and where'll that leave me!?' You respond, smile stretching your lips.

'We're ready, sir!' you hear a shout from outside the Office.

'Ah well, that's them. Better skedaddle.' Mia speaks for the first time since entering the Collection Office.

'Alright', you say as you make your way out. 'Be seeing you, Lieutenant!' you call back.

'Sir!' the arrayed marines say in unison.

God, you could get used to being called that!

As you lead them down, you see -thankfully- that the barrel has only moves a couple more inches, and you can hear shouting from below as they hear your footsteps on the deck.

'SURRENDER OR DIE!' The marine in charge of the squad yells with authority. 'WE'VE GOT OVER TWENTY MEN HERE, DROP YOUR WEAPONS AND COME OUT!'

Just then, you hear a gunshot go off and see a white blinding light. Then, you know nothing.

END THREAD.

the only thing i can suggest is posting a recap and important links, like the pastebin, your twitter and a link to the prior thread at the beginning of each new thread.
but your story is pretty sound and enjoyable so dont worry too much about that one.

>>37524523
Yeah, I've been forgetting the info, but thank you!
