Sorry for the delay, I got no excuse worth saying.

First thread:
http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive/32002268/ or http://archive.4plebs.org/tg/thread/32002268

You are the leader of Able Squad, aka "Unable Squad", a team of seven misfit female with more than a few problems. Currently, the squad's "Crash Ship" has crashed into a cathedral.

Your current Host is a veteran of the Cryptid Wars named Lieutenant Rodney Watkins. Or is Lieutenant your rank?
You have no idea, apparently "adjusting to a new brain" screwed up your memories.

You had no time to wonder, hell it was only thanks to a helpful reminder from a half-asleep assassin girl on the floor that you even remembered to grab guns.

It's a half minute or so after the impact, and you become one with your Host once more as his/your eyes open.

>Suko the Valkyrie gunner
>Alchemical grenadier
>Veronika the sniping cyberspider
...
Your eyes shoot open. Your vision doesn't blur, your eyes don't ring, your body doesn't feel numb.

You can see three members of your squad looking at you, Veronika and Suko crouching to the slightly far left and right of you respectively while the alchemist grenader is slowly reaching for you with a open, trembling hand.
You can hear the weapons fire, the crackling of fires done in symphony with flicking electricity, shouts both familiar and otherwise, and the distant but unmistakable "Dun-diti-dun~" of that bard loli.
You can feel the metal your head and neck is resting against, the floor against the rest of your body, and most importantly the Pulser Bullpup tightly held by both of your hands.

You calmly breathe.
You are awake.

Suko abruptly leans over you, knocking the grenadier's hand way. She moves her face close to your's, her sideways face and medium-length black hair obscuring your vision. The Valkyrie artificial dark-red HUD-eyes look into the windows of your soul...
[The poets lied. Eyes are annoying to enter.]
...Huh?
>>
"You live. You live." Suko states twice with an emotion you can't discern.
"...Huh?" You vocalize your previous thought.
"Something." She states with a frown as three tiny boxes that you recognize as info windows pop up on her eyes. Just as quickly she moves back and presumably stands up to fire judging from the sounds of her Winged Tactical Repeater.
No really, it has four black angel wings on it.

Veronika is out of sight, must have moved.
The green-eyed, red-haired alchemist-grenadier-stock broker looks at the gunner with irritation before reaching her hand again, this time without hesitation.
"Come on Lieutenant, UP!" She grabs your back with both hands and starts dragging you to your feet.
While still clutching her quad-shotgun in one hand, currently pointed at your head. Shit.
"HEY! Don't-"
"Jezori, 11'O!" Veronika, who apparently moved away while Suko calls out from some distance away and the girl promptly lets go of you.
Just barely you prevent yourself from slamming into the floor, several muscles aching as you do. The crash did screw you up a little after-all...
Following some sizziling sounds and a trio of screams following a pair of shotgun blasts, Jezori crouches down against whatever metal wall you're behind and looks at you again.
"Shit, sorry Lieutenant!" She does some apologetic bow.
"Get me up, now!" You bark.
"Sir, yes sir!" Jezori reaches into her small backpack and removes a purple flask.
>>
>>35198600
Without hesitation she throws it into your face, the glass shattering into shards. Most of which pierce your face, including one in your right eye and another into your nostrils.

You scream for five full seconds before the shards suddenly eject from your face and the pain vanishes. Everything including your eye heals. The muscle aches are gone, your strength finally returns and you get up,
As you finally get up on your own two feet you're heavily tempted to chew out the grenadier, but you put it aside for now.
You back against what you assume to be a pew, making sure your Pulser's ready.

It is.

Pick two.
All choices here can/will be taken eventually, but every two actions progresses the battle.

[ ]Look over the pew and engage the enemy.
[ ]Look over the pew and see where the rest of Able Squad is.
[ ]Look at the cathedral's entrance, seems to be where that burning sound is coming from.
[ ]Ask Suko why isn't airborne yet.
>>
>>35198621
>[ ]Look over the pew and see where the rest of Able Squad is.
I'm clueless, but I'll give it a shot
>>
Guess I'll go with what I get.
>Look over the pew and see where the rest of Able Squad is.

Weapon at the ready, you look over the pew.

The cathedral is composed of three rows of metal pews, with you and the two girls with you at the back of the left row. On the sides are pillars and stained glass windows, some of the former holding one of two balconies in middle left and right.

Veronika's climbed onto a pillar, firing her sniper rifle and jumping to another pillar when needed.
Shizi and Teza are advancing together on the ends of the right and left ends of the middle and right rows respectively.
Teza's using an assault rifle and her psionic abilities to attack, while Shizi just hurling elemental spells.
The loli bard who's name you don't know yet in hanging back behind them, her songs buffing them.

You wonder where Vivel is for a few moments before three of the enemy, humanoid but too far to make out any further details, leaps over a pew in the left row only for two of them to get sliced in half by something invisible mid-jump and the third to take a burst of pistol rounds to the face.
Of course, she was sleeping in the pew for a little bit...

You quickly duck back down just in time to avoid a burst of fire.
[ ]Take out the enemy targeting you on your own.
[ ] Order...
[ ]Suko to terminate him.
[ ]Jezori to deal with him.
[ ]Look at the cathedral's entrance, seems to be where that burning sound is coming from.
[ ]Ask Suko why isn't airborne yet.
>>
>>35199023
[x]Take out the enemy targeting you on your own.
Take care of the imminent threat first.
>>
[x]Take out the enemy targeting you on your own.

Something shooting at you takes priority.
Carefully, you blindly fire the Pulser over the pew once before moving around Jezori as another burst comes.

You know where he is now.
Quickly looking over the pew with your rifle you see him, upper middle row next to a buddy. Looking down the Pulser's scope you align his head with the crosshairs and fire, his head blown off.
His buddy ducks down beneath a pew. Pulling a switch, the scope's thermal mode activates. Aiming at the target through the pew, you fire a three-shot burst.
Designed to shot through objects, but doesn't always do it perfectly. Case in point as the first shot doesn't go through but the other two land their mark.

You duck back down and move back to where you first were.

Now...
[ ]Look at the cathedral's entrance, seems to be where that burning sound is coming from.
[ ]Ask Suko why isn't airborne yet.
>>
>>35199476
>[x]Look at the cathedral's entrance, seems to be where that burning sound is coming from.
Burning is usually bad if we're close to it.
>>
>>35199957
[x]Look at the cathedral's entrance, seems to be where that burning sound is coming from.

You look towards the entrance and find the source of the burning:
The "Crash Ship" of course, its exterior aflame. Judging from the debris it crashed right into the doors and judging by bloodstains and some limbs right onto some sapient lifeforms. Great.

A burst of rounds aimed at Suko sail over, the Valkyrie deflecting them with her mechanical wings.

You look back at the Crash Ship. It suddenly dawns on you that you forgot your helmet, armor, and comm-link. A quick glance to the two girls show that they still have their own, but you still need your gear from that wreck.

Won't be easy with this firefight still going on.

[ ]Participate in the firefight actively for a few minutes.
[ ]Ask Suko why she isn't airborne yet.
[ ]Make a run for the Crash Ship wreckage.
[ ]Don't ask for help, just go.
[ ]Ask the two squadmates to cover you.
[ ]Shout to everyone to cover you.
[ ]Borrow a headset and ask for everyone to cover you.
>>
>>35200216
Welp, 4chan doesn't like spacing before a line it seems. Everything below "Make a run" was supposed to be a little to the right as a sub-choice of sorts.
>>
>>35200216
>[x]Participate in the firefight actively for a few minutes.
>>
I continue to live up to my name by forgetting both it and my trip.

[x]Participate in the firefight actively for a few minutes.

You look over the pew and open up. Gear can wait a few minutes, it takes longer than people think for a burning vehicle, much less an aerial one explicitly designed to crash, to explode.

You catch a target as he leans around a pew, his arm flying off. Another moves to him, two shots to the upper body, one landing on the neck. Enemy vaulting over a pew, blast his legs and chest mid-jump.
Energy shots coming at you from the right pillars, fire through and right into her neck. Down another nearby, time to take cover and move.
Get up, shoot the one coming down the center aisle for some reason. Another pops up, shoot. Movement behind that pew, shoot through. Firing at you, shoot or take cover, relocate, then shoot.
You shoot, fire, engage, injure, kill.
Kill shoot kill duck kill kill duck shoot...
..,Advance.
"You two, move up! Advance on the enemy!"
"Yes sir!" "As you say."
Jezori moves first, both you and Suko providing cover fire. Repeat with you and Jezori covering the Valkyrie.
Another minute of shooting they steadily advance a pew or two. You do as well, making sure to stay at least behind them.
Yet another minute, the rest of the squad advances.

You vault over another pew only to almost land on a pair of dead bodies. One human with mechanical augments, the other a humanoid alien-thing. You stop for a moment and look around.
Dead. Dead everywhere. You didn't notice in the earlier heat of battle but there's blood of various colors and organs both familiar and unfamiliar dotting the place.

There shouldn't be this many. Something's off.

[ ] Go for the Crash Ship now. You need your gear, and maybe you should contact Command.
[ ] Ask Suko why she isn't flying and raining death yet like she usually does.
[ ]Shoot the two corpses with the Reanimation Magnum.
>>
>>35200705
>[x] Go for the Crash Ship now. You need your gear, and maybe you should contact Command.
Something's wrong. We need to call up Command.
>>
[x] Go for the Crash Ship now. You need your gear, and maybe you should contact Command.
"Covering fire, I'm checking something out back there!" You shout.
The resulting increase in weapons fire satisfying you, you vault back over a few pews, stopping every now and then to exchange fire.
Minute later you're back where you started, looking towards your goal.
"One more time, covering fire!"
You dart towards the Crash Ship, some bursts from the enemy being fired but not as much as you feared. Good.
Reaching the wrecked transport, you enter through a large hole in the hull.

The lighting of the interior flickers from emergency lights and some panel that constantly sparks. It takes you a few moments but you find it, a little box by the bench. You open it up without a moment's hesistation.
Body armor, helmet, headset comm-link. You put all three as fast as you can, each one giving you feelings of reassurance.

Glancing at the flickering light, you sit down on the bench. Probably not the wisest choice in here, but you do it anyway. Changing the channels on the comm-link , you switch to the proper one.

"Command, come in."
Static before a rough voice answers.
"Identify yourself."
"I'm..."
There's no headache, no migraine, no pain, just some sort of sensation that goes through your head.
Your name. Not your name. Not your name. Your name. Not your Host. You.
[I.]

What do you call yourself?
[ ] Ixo
[ ] Toxo
[ ] Morpha
[ ] Kordi
[ ] Nomad
[ ] (Name here. Try to match the theme though.)

>[x] Nomad

[x] Nomad

"Command, this is Nomad."
You don't get a reply immediately, recieve a reply but the sounds of movements and furious shouting are audible
.

"Nomad, why the fuck aren't you or Unable at base?"
"We've been deployed to a cathedral in a Crash Ship, specific location unknown to me."
A few more seconds of shouting in the background before whoever's answering you replies with barely-maintained calm.
"Nomad, you and your squad were deployed without authorization. This will be discussed later but for now local police forces have surrounded the cathedral, they will enter in less than twelve minutes. You need to depart immediately or we'll have a huge fucking intergalactic incident on our hands. Command out..."
The connection is immediately cut.

Shit.

[ ]Go back out in the cathedral and assist your Squad.
[ ]There's an acronym marking of sorts on the wall. Read it.
[ ]See if the Crash Ship is somehow capable of taking off again.

>[x]There's an acronym marking of sorts on the wall. Read it.

We need to see if we can get out of this; we're not being paid for this shit, so no point in killing more people.
>>

[x]There's an acronym marking of sorts on the wall. Read it.
[x]See if the Crash Ship is somehow capable of taking off again.

Some letters on the wall catch your eye, a simple designation marking.

RDBFO

You don't remember what that stands for, but make a mental note and immediately begin examining the mess that is the Crash Ship.
Three minutes later you manage to figure out that yes it can provided it gets the proper repairs and you know where it needs to be fixed.

It's capable of taking off for a very short time after which it'll simply crash again, but it should be enough. Your escape will most likely send it smashing right through some of the police outside, but so be it. There's no markings on the outside and the designation isn't visible from the hole. Good.
Of course, you can't fix it on your own. You contact everyone over the radio.

"Able Squad! This mission was unauthorized and police forces are going to storm the place in less than nine minutes. Pull back to the Crash Ship, we're doing some quick repairs and leaving!"
"So we shot up a holy site for no fucking reason. Great." Veronika remarks.
"Wouldn't be the first time some of us committed murder." Shizi remarks in turn.
"Fuck you, that bastard ripped me off."
"You removed my boyfriend's spine for selling you fake jewelry you fucking insect! Now he's just a personality copy!"
"You have at least five more and arachnids aren't insects. Weren't you supposed to be the smart on-"
"Can it! Shizi, Teza, I need you to two here now! Rest of you cover them and fall back!" You interrupt the two with your orders, that's all the information you'll gain from that one argument.

You quickly move next to the hole, using it as a cover fire. You try to minimize any increases in the amount of corpses, but quickly give up. Too many, too aggressive, too nigh-impossible to do fancy shit like shoot the guns of their hands.
You don't know how many minutes pass, you keep shooting and shooting.
>>
also, have a twitter? catching up on your quest now, premise sounds interesting

>>35201848
>>35203071
you lost your name and trip OP.
>>
>>35203071
You hear the others move and the "technical two", as some members of the squad call them, fixing things up. But it isn't until Vivel's playfully taps you on that shoulder that eveyone's in and the ship's ready to go.

Shizi moves to the hole, cuts herself on the arm with a knife, and splashes the resulting blood at the hole while chanting. Runes hover in place where the wall would be and the blood attaches to the runes before somehow expanding to cover the entire hole.
"It'll last three minutes." The mage states.
"We don't need that long, we're leaving now!" Already projectiles can be heard bouncing off the blood barrier.
"On it Boss!"
After Teza's reply you feel the Crash Ship begin to move. Wasting no time you quickly grab onto the bench.
Moments later the engines screech and the entire vessels after it takes off for a trip it wasn't designed for.

You hear glass shattering followed by at least a hundred swears, screams, and shouts. Rounds impact the hull to no effect. A metallic crushing followed by what you know with absolute certaintiy is a helicopter of sorts going down.
More glass shattering, breaking sounds that most shouldn't be as familiar with as they are to you.
Two minutes and what you assume was at least seven buildings crashed through later, the Crash Ship fulfills its purpose one last time, the whole vessel violently shaking. Your last thoughts before it does so are how none of the girls screamed. Doesn't mean they weren't loud.
Did your Host lose consciousness again?
...Yes he fucking did.
It's a minute before you wake up again. Your eyes shooting open (again), you see...
