Welcome to Hoard Quest!
You are Zokarth, a recently hatched dragon with brilliant purple scales. Your domain is a hellish wasteland that was once a mighty city. Last time, Zokarth stole a Magik Princapica, a form of Magik Encyclopedia, from a Cult who worship Ra'Zarok, some unknown dragon. After a quick nap on your very first hoard of treasure you encounter Mogru Thall Vizzik, a strange mortal. After showing Morgu Thall Vizzik where the Cultist are, you explored some caves, finding a room full of gold. Deciding to recruit Morgu to carry your gold, your search brought you to a battle between Morgu and several Cultist. By showing your raw power by instantly killing one Cultist mage, the remaining Cultist quickly slaughtered each other in some form of religious frenzy.

You quickly lead Morgu Thall Vizzik to the room of GOLD, telling him to start ferrying it to the upper floor. You of course help by supervising his actions, and providing your radiant presence, to boost the moral of the party. After several hours, the deed is done. You are resting on a throne of pure GOLD, with several more religious effigies and offerings in a heap below you, gods long since forgotten, who could never compare with your splendor. You can feel the GOLD imbue you with power, giving your muscles strength and your spirit vigor.

[Arcane Energy 20/20]

You are some what tired after the recent battle, and decide to consult the Magik Princapica, while Morgu stands awkwardly to the side, making sure to not look directly at you. As always, he makes no move to engage in conversation. How irritating. No matter, the Princapica shall provide much more interesting information than any mortal could offer.

The vast majority of the Princapica is for the arcane world, while you understand that you are magical and can bend the universe to your will (to an extent) you are only two days old, and your knowledge has some holes in it. Flipping the Princapica to the first couple pages, title "Magik for Beginners".

The Princapica starts with the very basics. All living matter has Arcane Energy, and it can be found anywhere in the world. Many other cultures refer to this by their respective names, but the most textbook name is Arcane Energy. Magik users can control the Arcane Energy inside of them, and convert it to other forms, such as spending energy to create fire, to shape water, or bend steel. Mortals can not compare to your instinctive master of Arcane Energy, and must confine themselves to several "schools" of magik, dealing exclusively with one element. A mage could spend his entire life practicing fire magik, and never truly master it. If a mage wished to practice more magik, it is usually related to their first school of magik. A water mage would easily learn nature magik, though would struggle understanding fire magik. Certain schools of magik are not confined to just an element either. Water mages can heal, metal mages can fortify their mind, and cast spells on the minds of others, earth mages can work with time to an extent, while fire mages can most easily commute with spirits.

It is at this point your concentration is broken by an awkward cough by Morgu Thall Vizzik, though he still refuses to speak, most likely still awed by you. The deed is done though, you are pulled out of the Princapica and back into the real world, and it's issues. Though you have gathered a more respectable hoard of treasure, there are still cultist in their tunnels, while the majority are roaming the hellish wasteland looking for you. Their return is a concern for you, for there a dozens of them, and only one of you. Morgu Thall Vizzik also seems to seek your attention, but for some blasted reason refuses to initiate conversation, poor mortal cannot take in your grandeur. Moving your hoard could prove to be a problem, with the roaming Cultist and unknown black shapes which move amongst the piles of skulls outside the city.

You have trouble concentrating on the Princapica, when you looked up, it seems the pages of the Princapica have shifted to something regarding a Grand City meeting a fiery demise. With a sigh you close the book, seems you have lost your place. No matter, you have dim witted minions to entertain you! "Morgu" Your voice breaks the long lived silence,"why are you hunting these Cultist?"

The 7 foot tall man, with the silver mane seems relieved you broke the silence, as if he wanted to talk this entire time, what a strange one,"Oh Grand Drake, it is my mission to hunt these foul worshipers of the Destroyer of Worlds. Long have we feuded with these people, and long shall we fight". That seems to raise more questions than it answered. Poor mortals, they will never have your intelligence.

"That is interesting and all, Morgu, but can we speak in terms of immediate goals, rather than age long feud terms?" You are the immortal one here, why must you bring this up?

Morgu seems a bit downcast that you shot down his dramatic explanation, instead replying with much less grandeur than last time, "I was sent here by my master to root these Cultist out of this city. It is a test, to show that I have truly become a warrior. Grand Drake, it is with this purpose that I ask to take your leave. I have completed your task of moving these effigies to false Gods, as a sign of my gratitude for you assistance in battle". At this point Morgu gets a thousand yard stare, probably remembering the majesty of you unleashing pure arcane knowledge to kill a Cultist mage. This stare goes on for a few moments before Morgu snaps out of it, "I must complete my mission of slaying the Cultist", Morgu says it more to himself then to you.

Seems like honest enough intentions. Slaughtering a group of Cultist seems like something you support, on the other hand, you like having someone carry around your GOLD,"Morgu, I ask you to not hold your tongue in the future, when you seem to have such pressing matters. "I shall join you in battle!", you exclaim, spreading your wings so that Morgu can appreciate your might.

This elicits a nervous laugh from Morgu, "Truly, Grand Drake, your kindness knows no bounds, but I must face this test alone. My master would not approve".

Oh feeble mortals and their politics, if only they realized that you are always right, "Nonsense! You may simply inform him that I am feral, and happened to help you in combat, you may still prove your worth".

Morgu give you a quizzical expression, "Grand Drake, my master taught me that all drakes are fer-"You grow tired of this mortals banter, he shouldn't address his better with such a tone.

"Silence, minion! To battle!" With that you are off, you lift off of your GOLDEN throne, and swoop down the stairs into the tunnels. With a pause, Morgu runs after you thundering donw the steps. You return to the previous battle, observing the carnage that your beauty can wrought on the unprepared, and delve into the unexplored tunnel. Saddly, there are no Cultist for you to slaughter with you immense arcane powers. You find a barracks/communal sleeping area the Cultist must have used, it is cramped, with beds stacked next to each other. You also find an armoury, though the weapons are mostly crude iron, Morgu ignores them with a look of distaste. Finally you find a more spacious bedroom, obviously the room of the most important Cultsist, probably the big one with the scary axe, and the urge to use it on his peers. Disappointed in your search you return to the top floor. "It seems that we have valiantly defeated all the Cultist that remain here Morgu, the remaining Cultist are in the city proper, searching for" You chuckle at this, it is still amusing that you hid right under their noses. Oh Zokarth, you are a clever dragon.

You decide it is best to learn of the surrounding area before you set off on a murderous rampage, you make your ways back to the stairs, this time with less gusto, "Tell me Morgu, what are these dark beasts which roam about my domain?".

Morgue quickly returns, "Is this not your domain? Do you not already have knowledge of the dark creatures which roam here?" His tone is genuine, but how dare he question you! You are ZARKOTH! THE ETERNAL STORM! You still do not actually know, so you hold your tongue. Morgu takes this as a sign, and answers your question, "The dark creatures come with part of the shadowy history of this city. They are demonspawn, creatures from the void which we do not understand, but which hunger. They are creatures of blood magik, and power. They should be avoided at all cost" Once again, Morgu says this last part more to himself than to you. As if he is repeating instructions give to him.

You reach the bottom of the stairs and see the statue of Ra'Zakor, which is not nearly as grand as you. You examine the statue more thoroughly this time, with your magik senses, you can feel s dormant power, something strong, and ... a presence? Strange, "Morgu, what do you know of this Cultist false idol?" You say, flicking your beautiful purple tail at the statue.

"I can not say Grand Drake, I only know that Ra'Zakor was a massive Drake. No better than an animal, he is responsible for the destruction that is see throughout your Great Domain" You like this Morgu, he says good things about your stuff, and bad things about what you don't like. That still doesn't sense the... presence you feel in the statute.

What shall you do?

"Morgu, head back up the stairs I'm gonna try something stu-" Woo, you almost said stupid, as if such a magnificent creature as you could be stupid," something. I'm gonna try something". With a nod, Morgu heads back up the stairs to safe distance.

You look around the room until you find it, a rock. Almost as big as your head, which in retrospect, is not that big. With all your might, you hurl the stone at the statue and then...nothing. Huh, you really didn't even make a scratch on the statue, maybe you should try something more powerful..

If the statue is magic, and the book is also magic, I'm wondering what will happen if we rub the book on the statue.

Of course the statue didn't respond when you threw something at it, it's a statue! That dormant power still nags at you though, you know that when a sacrifice is commited, such as the one you saw earlier, there is a great release of energy. Perhaps the sacrifice activated this source, causing such things as the red glow. Of course, you can call fourth the same amount of magik a mortals life is worth in an instant, you are Zokarth after all.

You spread your wings out, mimicking the stance of the statute, except you are far more majestic. You rear your head back, you can feel your power welling up in your chest, it jumps up your neck and gathers in your maw. With a roar, you unleash a torrent of lightning on the statute. The lightning dances around the statue, slowly dying off until a few sparks are left.

Then there is a roar, the statue moves. The head rears back, letting loose a booming roar, but suddenly freezes, as if stuck in time. That was.. a surprise.

Sorry for the wait, couldn't find a good image

DEAR GODS ABOVE. You mean, nothing can surprise Zokarth! You knew that was going to happen...ha. It's strange, the statute (If it really is a statute) Is situated in the exact same position you were in before you jumped in surprise. You mean, instinctively repositioned yourself. Perhaps it has the same position as you because you initially mimicked it. The statue is once again immobile. Though the presence seems... hungry. It is more active than it was before. You can only assume that the statue froze again because you didn't supply it with enough power.

Your thoughts are interrupted by the sound of Morgu's boots on the old stairs. He springs out of the doorway with his swords ready, such a loyal minion. He relaxes when he sees you relaxed in the room, "What is different with the statue?"

"Hmm?" You were trying to think of what to do, "Oh it moved, came to life for a second". Morgu is giving you that quizzical expression again. "Morgu, I'm going to try it again, I think it's best if you go backto the stairs, who knows what will happen". Morgu nods at your sage wisdom and returns to the stairs.

You decide that since so little of your power gave it so little life, more power will give it more life! Still curious to see if the statue is mimicking you strike a different pose, rearing up on your hind legs, wings still spread out.
>6
You call forth you magik again, this time you let the power spill out of your chest, you let it surge forth, but cut it off before it completely drains you. You've never dealt with this much power though, and you were not fast enough. The power you've called forth continues to drain you, leaving you weak. You panic, and release your arcane ray at the statue, exhausted. You slump to the floor, little more than a husk

Exposed in its chest is a jewel, it is red, it is blue, is is every color that has or ever will be. Something no mortal or immortal should ever lay eyes on. You might be near death, you might have done something immensely stupid, but you will have that crystal. You crawl, like a lesser being, degrading yourself, getting your beautiful scales dirty. That does not matter. All that matter is the Jewel. Your scales cannot compare to this one point of majesty in the universe. Your words and thoughts does not do it justice, it is something so grand, even you feel tears coming to your eyes when you look upon it.

Finnaly you reach the base of the statue, with you last specks of energy, you flap your wings as you jump, giving you the extra momentum to reach the Jewel. You miscalculated, you cannot grab the Jewel, you do not have enough force. You reach, you reach all your small dragon body can. Your longest claw barely touches it.

Everything loses color. All time stops. Only two things have color, yourself, though your scales are dulled to a sickish light color, all your majesty gone, and the Jewel, which still maintains its splendor. The metal encasing the Jewell flows like liquid, you would be puzzled, if time itself wasn't frozen. It flows down your claw, onto your arm, over your shoulder, and finally rests in the center of your chest, it then - BURNS. THE PAIN OF A THOUSAND TALONS PIERCING YOUR CHEST. LIQUID METAL MELTING THROUGH YOUR SCALES .YOU WANT TO DIE, YOU WANT TO BEG FOR MERCY. but time is frozen, no sound can be made. And finally, bliss. You can feel the Jewel. It is a part of you now. It has bored its way into your chest, resting in the center. Suddenly, the world is flooded with color, and you are once again reminded of gravity. You plummet towards the ground, and with a loud thud, there is only darkness.

You dream. They are strange, outlandish dreams. Sights which are not yours, memories of another. Swimming deep under the ocean. Flying over a grey, barren landscape, devoid of all life. Tribes of four armed men fighting amongst each other. A great dragon of black burns them all with red flame. The landscape is barren again. From the grey emerge people like Morgu Thall Vizzik, emerge from the grey land, tall people with silver hair. Then great beings of light descend from the heavens, they craft and shape people of all looks and life, but ignore the grey folk. The Gods leave, giving their people each a gift, while the grey folk are ignored again. Ages pass, forest grow, cities built, but no city is as grand as that of the grey folk, the other grow jealous and call upon the Gods. The Great black dragon comes again, burning the city down.

Suddenly you are amongst the stars. A God like no other is there, he is not made of the holy light of the others, but rather of matter itself. He is a being of colors are stars. You are in his great forge, and he is forging the jewel that is now part of you. With mighty hammer blows, he shapes it, imbues it with power, giving it knowledge. The Forgemaster looks up, and see you. He swings his hammer, made of stars and space, and it is once again dark.

You awake in ..cage? It is made of silvery metal, and you are moving. On a cart of some type. There is a cloth on your cage, with light drifting down from holes in the cloth, piercing the dusty air. You smell... people, many people. The sounds assault you. That of carts and salesmen, people going about their daily lives. Is that a camel?

And we are back

A minor setback! If you wished, these bars would be crushed, their children, and their children's children will tell of the great slaughter of the metal bars. For now you wait, it has never done you wrong.

You take in a deep breath, closing your eyes. Yes, there is indeed a camel. One in front of you, and below you. You are not on a cart, you are being transported on the back of a camel. You smell many people, sweat, fear, tears, bad breath, piss, mating, it's all there. This is some large settlement it would seem. In place of sulfur and ash you smell sand and... water?

There is a shout, it is a language of date palms and sand, the same one Morgu Thall Vizzik used. This is truly strange, perha- You are jolted, and moving up this time, seems you captors are moving you, maybe they will release you for a test of might! No, they just tossed you on a pile of other cages, which similarly smell of ... well you smell scales, blood... and fire?

What shall you do?

You've had enough of this waiting, you are Zokarth, the Eternal Storm! Standing up, you realise someone had the mind to strew a few GOLDEN coins at the bottom of your cage, these probably helped you sleep. You examine the bars, they are a sort of silvery metal that reminds you of Morgu's blades and armor. THEY SHALL FEEL YOUR WRATH. You slam into the cage, regain your balance, and slam into the other side, this efficiently rocks your cage, and seems to be pissing off your neighbors. Each time you hit the bars, a hiss comes from the adjacent cage.

"Knock it off!" this is accompanied by a first slamming into you cage. The front of the cage slams into you, throwing you off balance. What is even stranger is the assortment of noises coming from the adjacent cages,
"QUITE!"
"STOP!"
"QUITE"
"FUCKER" That one has a mouth.
They have the voices of creatures who don't really understand what they are saying, they remind you of parrots.

How dare these tell you what to do! You slam into the front of the cage again, with more furt, you fall a short distance, and hit the ground. This removes the cloth over your cage and reveals a city. You seem to be in some sort of Bazaar, or marketplace. The buildings are all wooden, the wood smoothed down by the harsh desert winds. You see that colored silks are hung from many of the buildings and stalls as decoration. The people, are as you suspected, grey folk with silver hair. Your gaping is cut short when a rather large man picks up your cage, and angrily throws it back on top of the other cages, throwing the cloth back on, "I SAID knock it off", slamming his fist into the cage again, then he is gone

"Fucker". Said one of your neighbors, more quietly this time.

What shall you do?

Let's see if our arcane ray has a 'low' setting. Rather than vaporize the whole cage, if we cut a small hole in the bottom of the cage we should be able to drop down into the one below us without anyone noticing. As long as the cage stays covered they won't know we're gone.

Also eat the gold coins. We can reclaim them later.

You decide to wait and bide your time. No point in breaking out when your captors are right in front of you. You lay down on your measly amount of GOLD, 15 in total, and get ready for a wait.

Of course, all this time isn't completely wasted. You gather that this city, or village, or whatever, is called Lotik. Some man is deciding to sell his prize 6 year old camel for 30 gold, while any observant man can see that camel is 12 years old. At one point a girl lost a doll, no one could find it, tears were had.

Despite the excitement, you feel yourself nodding off, it's almost dusk, so sleeping a few hours could never hurt. Your lids are heavy, and then you are asleep. Thankfully, this sleep isn't fueled by visions of Gods or apocalyptic dragons.

When you next awake, it is to blinding light. The cloth over your cage is ripped off, and after you eyes adjust to the influx of light, you see a crowd of people. People of all types, young children, lovers, old men, rich merchants. It's what's next to you which surprises you.

Dragons. All different shades of brown, some are a sort of dirty grey. Even a few rust reds can be seen in the crowd. You notice, that you stick out like a sore thumb. Though, you would usually want to stick out from the common rabble, you are the only dragon with striking purple scales, and a jewel embedded in its chest. If there is one thing you know about prison, it's that you don't want to stick out.
>>
>>34846580
They seem to be bidding on dragons, some of the dirty brown ones go for 30 GOLD, which if you recall is the same price as a prized camel. One of the rust red ones next to you shoots out a gout of fire, which draws forth a round of applause from the crowd. When you are sold, it is to a wicked looking man, with blue robes, and many gold ornaments, he is most likely a noble or merchant. He is followed closely by what looks like two armed guards. You do feel sort of good though, you were sold for 3000 GOLD, one hundred times that of the next most expensive dragon, though no where as near as vast as the hoard you once possessed.

What shall you do?

You've had enough of these cages, and stupid dragons, and merchants. It's time to break free. You call forth you magik, letting that familiar power well up in your chest, you carefully monitor it this time, cutting of the flow once you have gathered enough power in your maws. With a mighty roar, you unleash your might of the bars, YES, HAHAHA BUUUURRRNNN, REMEMBER THE NAME ZORKOTH .

From what you have gathered, it is expected for dragons to be dumb, often only saying one word, like a parrot. Also, breath weapons are somewhat rare, the dragons which breathed fire went for higher prices than the dragons who do not. Couple all this together, and you get a very surprised group of people.

You are surprised when you power seems... greater. The crystal at first draws in the power you intend to unleash on this prison. This angers you. IT IS TAKING YOUR POWER. You RIP the power out of the crystal, but it is charged. Greater. What was once a cyan beam of pure energy, was now a torrent of color, which dazzled the sense. The beam tore through the bars instantaneously, and carried onward. To be precise, it ate through a bakery, three stalls of assorted goods, some form of tower, a stable, causing a stampede of once contained animals, and finally through a bulky wall surround the village.

You are FREE! Your soar out of the cage, high above the air, the populace stiar up at you open mouthed, with huge eyes. They cannot handle your majesty! You are the most beautiful thing they have ever seen! Then, you speak, "MORTALS! I am Zokarth, the Eternal Storm! I am as a God to you. Through deceit, you have imprisoned me, in a cage of metal, but now I am free!" You wait, but the people keep on staring, probably trying to understand the most grand being they have ever seen.
"I am ZOKARTH" The three foot long dragon roared, the people crouch in the face of your majesty, most are probably crying tears of joy, as you dramatically whirled in the air, and flew away.

You fly high above the sky, the point of brilliant purple, which mortals can look up into the sky, and aspire to worship one day. You catch a warm air current and rise quickly. You observe the land around you. It is mostly desert, an endless expanse of sand. Below you is the town Lotik, you can see that an oasis is the center of the town, and the probable reason of it's creation. Despite the repetitiveness of the desert, you must admit it is quite a change of pace from the lava and skulls that was one your dom- By the Gods ! You left Earl behind! Alas, poor Earl, left to rule a kingdom which is not his, a heavy burden.

You quickly orientate yourself by using the sun to identify north. On a whim, you pick a direction, and fly off. What is the worst that can happen? Being lost in a sea of sand, and dying of thirst?

The dry air and warm sun seem to give you energy, and you confidently set off on your journey. After what seems like a couple hours, you finally spot a break in the sand. Massive stones jutting out of the sand, they look like giant stone trees were cut down, the stumps left behind as a sign of lost. There are many more stones in the distance, similar to the others you saw, but it doesn't go into a mountain range, they simply stop. Partially away from some of the other massive rocks is a small mountain, larger than the other stones.

Closer inspection finds no caves, or large ledges on the side to rest in the shade. Though you do find a deposit of minerals on the walls of one of the rocks, and take a bite, bunching on the minerals abesent mindedly, as you explore the top of the somewhat cylindrical rocks. You don't feel like flying for much longer, you decide that these rock formations will make a decent resting place. You decide to explore the large rocks. Circling around them provides little new information. They are of varying sizes, but are all mostly circular.

Closer inspection finds no caves, or large ledges on the side to rest in the shade. Though you do find a deposit of minerals on the walls of one of the rocks, and take a bite, bunching on the minerals absent mindedly, as you explore the top of the somewhat cylindrical rocks. The sand on top is soft and warm, and beckons you to sleep, but once again, nothing of extreme interest is found on your numerous searches.

You decide that you might as well bless the mountain with your presence. You lift off from the warm sands of the pillars, and make your way to the mountain. It is odd, it towers above the other stones, while there are no other mountains nearby. From the peak, you can see nothing but desert in every direction, with no breaks in the sea of sand. Flying around the mountain yields single tunnel, leaving into some sort of cave system. The mouth of the tunnel is high off the ground, with a ledge that could truly only be reached by air.

Slipping inside the you find a spacious cavern, to the side is a large clear pool of water. A true boon in this desert, if not an outright treasure. Two other tunnels branch off from the cavern. One leads to another space, with a hole in the roof, the lazy light lands on a soft pile of sand. It reminds you of the room where you first unleashed your arcane fury on a Cultist mage. Good memories.
>>
>>34848640
The other tunnel leaves of deep into the bones of the cave, you turn about before you get lost. You are just so amazing, the mountain doesn't want you leave. There is an off branch you didn't notice, and looking inside reveals a strange sight. Two skeletons of long dead desert dwellers, odd curve swords plunged into their chest, both are resting on a chest, with a puff of breath, the skeletons fall off and turn to dust, inside the chest is .. GOLD. HAHA. GOLD. Other things such as rubies and sapphires, though they cannot compare to the crystal embedded on your chest, are still a nice addition to a hoard.

Myes, this will make a decent rest spot for Zokarth, the Eternal Storm. You drag the chest out of the tunnels, past to the pool, and into sunroom with the soft sand. Tipping the chest onto the sand has disappointing results. There isn't much GOLD here.

[+ 1500 Gold]

Underneath the GOLD was hidden several scrolls, you disregard this for the moment, instead you sort the GOLD into a nice pile. Instinct seems to kick in at this point, you run out of the cave, flying low around the mountain. You call forth your lightning, letting it spill forth from you maw as you flew. You complete a circuit around the mountain, leaving a wall of intricate and beautiful glass around your temporary home. Of course, glass could never compare to the beauty that is you. To finish your display of power to your new domain, you land on top of the mountain, roaring, and unleashing more lightning to the skies, informing to local populace of their new overlord.

Your territory marked, you return to cave, lapping at the pool of water for a moment. As you drink, you notice the water is strangely clear, and satisfyingly cool. You return to your GOLD, and curl up for a nap. You snuggle up against the GOLD, like a lover, and drink in its power. You feel yourself grow, and you power you did not notice was used return, giving you vigor.

You sleep for several day, the exact amount unknown. You emerge from your nest, water which is strangely clear quickly quenches your thirst. You are now about 4 feet from the tip of your tail to your snout. You peek at your cave and observe your domain. Nothing seems out of place, the sand is being sand, the rocks are being rocks. That is, until you notice the small specks moving around the perimeter of your fence.

They are fully garbed in cloth, no flesh is exposed, even from this height, you can tell they are not one of Morgu's people, they are shorter, somewhere between 5-6 foot tall.

There seems to be all sorts of strange creatures you have no knowledge of. The grey folk that Morgu is one of, feral dragons, and now sand people. They don't seem to be doing much at the moment, just marveling at the beauty you can bring into this world. With a yawn, you return to you cave, grabbing the scrolls you found earlier, and bringing them out to the ledge, so that you can keep an eye on the newest citizens of your domain. Their tongue has a startlingly amount of clicks in it, and the only seem to have ONE word for beauty. How crude. It is a language which sounds of sand and thirst, of harsh winds, and burning heat.

They are in a heated debate. One wants to make the climb to drink of the water in your mountain. Ha, as if you would allow that. The other sees your territory markers as "Bad mojo".
Thirst is a powerful force in the desert, the one wanting the water makes some comment involving anatomically impossible mating, and the mother of the superstitious speaker. This specific sandman jumps over your beautiful fence, and starts to make its way to the base of your mountain, preparing itself for a game you highly doubt it can make.

You will not stand for such a violation of your domain! With a roar, you leap of your ledge and.... plummet, the ground is fast approaching. It looks like you weren't prepared for your newest growth spurt. At the last moment your wings shootout, stopping yourself from being the most fabulous crater on this mountain. You still hit the ground, with a decent amount of force.

Health [11/15]

The sandmen start laughing with their damn clicks, and their stupid sand. How dare they laugh at the most majesty being to ever exist! You roar them into silence, their hands fly to their weapons. Your words are full of rage, how dare they force you to make such a blunder!.

Perhaps the Sandmen chose not to understand your words. Perhaps they are surprised that a dragon could give such a fear inducing, and splendid speech. Maybe your words struck fear into their hearts. Or maybe it is the most obvious reason, they are struck dumb by your beauty.

What ever the reason, they pause after they draw their weapons, but their intentions are clear. You have the initiative now. You can smell the adrenaline on them, there is no turning back

You are angry. These sandman cause you to make a fool of yourself, and on your own domain. You tap into that magik inside you. This time you have learned. You direct the magik directly to the crystal, and rip it out, forcing it to gather at the back of your maw.

You know you cannot take on a humanoid in hand to claw combat, especially in your current state. You take off your wings giving you height over the Sandmen. You look down at these mortals. How dare they defy you. How dare they come to YOUR land, and laugh at YOU!

A final group straight out runs, dropping their slings and spears, and making for the hills

The Sandman which hopped you fence pulls out a spear, decorated with many notches, signifying kills, you can only assume, as it hurtles past your vision, missing you entirely.
The last sand man goes into a trance like state, and the sand you once stood on erupts in a fountain of sand, with your beautiful purple wings, you quickly dodge it.

" HAHAHA! DIE! DIE FOR MY AMUSEMENT" You shout at the morally shaken mob of sand people. Lightning gathers in your maw, picking out your choice of target. Your eyes narrow when you spot the mage. You've always detested mages, they try to cast magik like you, but lack your finesse. Your torrent of lightning strikes the mage, bringing it to it's knees. Strangely, it is not dead, but it seems to be out of the fight.

Or so it would seem, until it punches it's hand into the sand, across the field of battle Elite sandman has drawn one of those curved blades you saw in the skeletons holding. To your surprise, a giant fist forms beneath from the sand beneath the Elite, clenched in a first. The force sends to Elite flying across the battlefield, on a direct trajectory with you. As the most beautiful dragon, and therefore being that ever has been or will be, it takes a lot to shock you, perhaps that explains why you are slow to react to this soaring sandman. There is a flash of metal, and then there is your roar of pain.

HP [5/15]

The elite lands with an acrobatic flip, sliding to the sand until his momentum is stopped. The show off. Around you the less important sand man hurl stones and spears into the air, accompanied by their cheers for their Elite and Mage, it would seem.

You are panicking at this point. You’ve never bled so much before in your life. The Mage is down, the Elite is assisting him, as if you are no longer a threat. As if this battle is over.
You are panicking, one should never make a dragon panic. This time, you don’t even draw your magik out, you simply break the damn. It floods into your crystal, from which you rip it out, and unleash on your foes.

First to go is the Mage and Elite. How dare they make you bleed such wounds. Your ray of Arcane power erases them from existence. All that remains of their sins is a crater of glass.

Mage Dead
Elite Dead

Your next shot goes wide, striking one of the far off cylindrical rocks, which are a part of your domain. It is your property, you shall destroy it if when you feel like it.

You turn on another group of sandmen. They cease throwing their tiny sticks in panic. That is the last emotion they will feel, for they are not but ash and glass now.

-5 Sandmen

You turn on the last group of sandmen, victory is yours! Not one of these fools shall live to tell of their slaughter! Their children, and their children’s chil-
A large rock collides with you head, knocking you to the grand, everything is spinning, and very bright.

HP[ 1/15] AE[9/25]

You can hear the sandmen cheering, mocking you, not acknowledging that you are superior. As they approach to finish you off, there is a deep rumble.

All eyes turn to the cylindrical rock you struck earlier. Only, it is not a rock. Sand cascades off of it as it rises. A beast, greater than the size of your mountain rises. It dwarf you, and emit immense Arcane powers. They are not dragons, nor any beast you have any knowledge of. What you thought of as rocks, were some sort of horned protrusion near its mouth, the beast has two . It’s eyes are strange located, on level with its gaping maw of teeth larger than a house.

It roars, a primal roar. Of ancient magik which has not roamed this world since time immortal.
Then there is another roar, and another. The entire area rises of, the sea of sand has waves crashing around you. There are at least a dozen of the beast. You have never felt horror like this before

The Sandmen run.

CONGRATULATIONS, YOU HAVE WON THE COMBAT
