Rolled 61

Last thread: http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive/31543618/

Last time among the Gearhead Garrison we escaped the uber clusterfuck, found ourselves chilling at a nearby refugee camp, before making off with a rather large number of fresh recruits, before finally leaving the valley.

Once we finally left our old home we encountered an old agricultural region of the Pre Fall world which harbored dark secrets...there we decided to let off some fireworks and invite the ENTIRE fucking neighborhood to attend. Even the plants took part and what a party that has turned out to be!

Our goal at the moment is first of all survival and secondary to reach the infamous Swamp of the Memor. There something lurks what exactly we do not know only that it is of no small importance to certain groups, but first we need to make a pit stop deep within the Heart of Darkness itself.

I believe we wanted to do:

>Basic 1
Check out the battle, identify the major players and how it's going.

>Basic 2
Have the Azar Band head out to salvage more hydroponics parts, and parts to improve our water systems too if they can find them. (avoid the battle, naturally.)

>Basic 3
Set the Meka Combine to doing what it does. Begin the harvest. (Gunny+fireworks)

But I say Basic 2 scavenge For food/water/parts and basic 3 the fire works to keep them away from us. Other wise use beep.

>>31648924
The battle has largely winded down. Many forces are attempting a withdrawal as the super heavies keep pounding the living daylights out of each other(in this case brood, plants, monsters and a few assorted others).

The Azar band has successfully acquired materials for the hydroponics, but were unable to find anything more considering how hot things are getting.

Meka Combine has begun to harvest while using fireworks to highlight areas of special note as to make things easier.

Adjusted training commences.

Hmm, how about
Basic 1
Integrate the new parts to improve the hydroponics capabilities

Any ideas on the other two?
>>
>>31649607
I guess we should pick off any bandits withdrawing.

Work on hydroponics

Come up with plan with hero group and reps from the others for ideas for the next plan of action. Should we fight or get ready to move out. Maybe try skeller's plan if that is no the table still.
>>
>>31649705
Actively open hostilities on the bandits? I thought we were going for the neutral observer route.

Also, I wouldn't mind consulting our heroes for their advise. A general they are not, but still they always have an insight on things we aren't missing.

>>31649607
Ask our heroes if they have any views on the forces battilng it out, and the current situation in general.
>>
>>31649739
True. But I think we have some people good at gorilla warfare. Thinking of making use of it and picking people off.

There is a general in the SS.
>>
>>31649797
No he is the local Commander of their forces. Granted he is SS but you don't know the specifics of him or much others come to think of its.
>>
>>31649844
What are the SS again?
>>
>>31649856
Short term for Super Soldiers as I am too lazy to spell it out all the time.
>>
>>31649797
True. But we are all in this together. I think it would still be nice to ask every one for what they would like to do.

But We could instead of attacking use one action for food and water pick up.

Work on the hydroponics

Team plan for next action.
>>
So is that:
Basic 1
Integrate the new parts into the Hydroponics

Basic 2
Scout around for sources of water away from the current battle.

Basic 3
Group meeting and consultation on how we should go about
A. Staying in this area to imbibe on more resources
vs
B. leaving while the risks are relateively low
>>
>>31650113
Maybe add or C: skeller's plan if it's on the table. Basic 2 should make us of our azar scouts if they are up to it. and Basic 1 have gunny aid in dealing with parts using Repairer's Grace.
>>
Rolled 36

>>31649607

>Basic 1
Upgrade our Hydroponics (Gunny)

>Basic 2
Have the Azar Band scout around for immediately available sources of water/food, and parts for upgrading our water systems give them an armed escort.

>Basic 3
Continue on, sweet Meka. Do we need to specify anything about what it's harvesting/looking for? How does using this thing work, in general?

Can we call a meeting of high-ranking members of each faction to order, so they can all express their opinions on whether we should stay here or move on.

The opinion of the players is that we should stock up here, and grab hydroponics and other stuff while we're in an area where they're available. That way we won't have to stop (much) from here on out.
>>
Rolled 75

>>31650315
the remaining heavy duty factions are the only ones still swinging at each other.

>>31650230
Hydroponics have been upgraded into basic thanks to our salvaged materials.

According to the Azar scouts there are plenty of sources for food and water. Parts meanwhile to upgrade our water systems is a quite a bit harder but they claim to have a lead in the matter.

Harvesting continues for the mecha.

Mack: A man with few friends, But a love for tech. From a young age his parents where not sure what to do with him. He seemed to not really care for the out side world. But then he got his first computer and it was like magic. It was scary how fast he picked out on it, All most unnatural . But hey kids what are you going to do. After some time his friends want to join the military, he saw no point in this. Until he found out he could get to the best tech out there threw it. He didn't do so good in boot camp. But made up for in in his tech skills. At first he had some trouble getting use to the people and military life style. But once he got going they saw his skill shine. He could program with the best of them and come up with a few upgrade here and there. But he real skill came to AIs. For some reason he had a way with them. Like man with honeyed words, But in this case oiled(?).

Which turned out for the best. For when the fall happened he was able to talk and crack his way into a personal vault and held up there. Frozen, But alive. After some time he was freed not sure how. But he was out in this new world. Pick up what was left in the personal vault and head out to find his friends. Life was hard from him. Not use to people, let alone fighting. But he joined up with a group( Name). They need a hacker and he need a job, as well as food. They got in a mess with a big group of people of the likes he never seen. Robots, things called brood and hell even a talking skeleton. But he made it barley. Then a random group going around in these big flying towns. Ask if people wanted to join them. At first he was scared but the idea of getting lost in one of those things pushed him on words.

"Santino and the gratefully undead" had an extreme cult following back before the fall. They were very vocal in the pre fall days about the government and the Megacorps misdeeds. Santino Garciaparra was considered by some to be an anti-government terrorist, and his group of followers "the dead skulls" were hooligan youth who were being manipulated by Santino. The dead skuls did often carry out wanton acts of destruction and mayhem, but Little did the world know that Santino was just a pawn in a much larger game. a certain doctor [redacted] had secretly began human trials for a pill that is supposed to boost receptivity to psionic activity. It worked. Very well. Too well. The members of the dead skulls became so psionicly active that they were able to develop a "pseudo hivemind council" that acts as Their means governing themselves and assigning orders to those within the loop. Fortunately when the fall hit, everybody was able to hunker down in "Santino's bitchin' Partybus" that happened to be fortified for just such an occurrence. Now they do what they can, bringing tasty 5 hour long jam sessions and funny pills to your home town. Best believe when Santino is in town it's time to have fun!

Rolled 77

>>31651984

I like your military-oriented plans, but they only need one action.

>Basic 1
Teams of Flamer/Spewer-teams and Mid-Range hard hitters (like Grenade Launchers) initiate a holding action to establish a line of defense as our BSU begins a fighting retreat. Anchor the line in various points using squads of tanks and be sure to mix in APCs as hardpoints too, be sure to give the troops power armor. Mix in forces from all our combat-oriented factions.

Mecha charges in at first, to give the forces time to establish a defensive line, but then it starts to retreat too after the line has been established.

Meanwhile, Gunny Jury Rigs/Rigged some bombs up onto (some of) our choppers and birds. They're going to be used to bomb the fuck out of the brood when the defensive line starts to get pressed. While the bombers do their thing to keep the brood occupied, line-troops load up in the APCs and the choppers that weren't modded to carry bombs and are withdrawn.

APCs withdraw with tanks in groups together, covered by the Choppers' guns.

>Basic 2
Skeller and his cohort provide guard for the Azar and non-combat factions to go out and scavenge food and water.

Apply the bonus from no Basic 3 to the combat action.

More like presumed our highly trained military forces would set up far enough away from the ring of collapse and call in air support soon enough that they wouldn't allow themselves to get caught by burrowers.

Oh well though, forgot we have to specify every goddamn little detail in plans or our troops will do the most retarded things possible.

>>
>>31652973

>Not their fault that plan just so happened to forget about that fact.
That's because it was so obvious I didn't think it needed to be stated. It's back to them doing the most retarded thing possible unless we tell them not to.

>nah its just gonna hurt
Remember how we give up when we lose assets because if this is what writing up a plan with 100% assets and benefits gets us, why even bother trying to survive when we've lost something?
>>
>>31652769
>plants are EVERYWHERE
I thought the dangerous ones were one specific species near the old facility. You're saying we had a goddam party right in the middle of what's essentially a bunch of sleeping hostiles while a battle raged nearby?

That's... actually kinda impressive come to think about it.
>>
>>31653119

>>
>>31652769

Also the plants were *starting* to bloom "expected to hit our forces in unknown time" and we hadn't been informed that all of them were goddamn hostile. We knew that the ones in the automated hydroponics were hostile, but we hadn't heard a lick about any plants bothering us before we bait+switched there so why would we think that any of the others were?

Teams of Flamer/Spewer-teams and Mid-Range hard hitters have imitated a holding action to establish a line of defense as our BSU begins a fighting retreat. The line has been anchored in various points using squads of tanks and a mix of the APCs well. Troops have been given power armor and we have focused on using the more combat happy forces.

Mecha has charged in temporarily battering brood forces back before withdrawing once our forces have established themselves.

Bombing runs have commenced but had to end as brood forces finally reacted also dickish plants. Luckily they managed to use up a most if not all their payloads before hand.

Forces are withdrawing while helped being covered by the choppers we do however lose some of them.

That did not seem to be enough however as brood forces kept pushing erupting from below, dragging our forces and even vehicles down(or so they tried) then finally the Plant BLOOM hit all our forces.

>>31653119
the entire plan relied upon the fact that they wouldn't burrow. Granted hover and training does help but still. Your lucky as hell that your forces are what they are otherwise it would of been game over even with those rolls.
>>
>>31653393

Bomb-concussions ought to have collapsed tunnels-in-progress, but I hadn't accounted for them being able to burrow extremely rapidly to get under our forces.

Rant over, sorry.
>>
Well, we knew hanging around was a risk. The question now is do we cut our losses and get out of here with what we've gotten (10 resources and hydroponics isn't bad after all) or do we stay and try to be the last ones standing?

The scientist in me wants to see what a bloom like this does, and the survivalist wants the ungodly amount of weapons and tech that must have been left here by the massive amounts of shit that went down. The realist thinks this is only going to get worse.

>>
>>31653721

Indeed. Now that we know that we're fucking surrounded by hostiles all the fucking time we'll get the fuck out of here.

Poor Azar Band, they got murdered because they forgot to tell us that while they were out gathering resources the plants were trying to eat them.
>>
Rolled 82

Brood tunnels collapsed underneath the affect of BLOOM just as their flyers were pluck from the skies by angry plants, while explosions of plant growth encumbered their ground forces including our own vehicles/troops, not even the mighty bastions of our mobile bases were not spared the effects of this Plant BLOOM. As explosions wracked the grounds, sprouts shot up impaling all that laid above them, tendrils swept the battlefield grabbing whatever it could find before pulling them into gaping maws.

Despite the sudden change in pace this did nothing to stop the brood eagerness to overtake our forces. Our lines crumbled, shish kebabs formed made of both our own forces and brood yet came they still. It seemed the end even cultists and shamefully our own troops seem to be about to break.

FANATICAL BONUS ACTIVATED

Despite that though despite everyone else preparing to flee, misfiring, and general breaking down. Two forces the Bringers of Morning and Sulcha Kelbe stood united before the onslaught and refused to take a single step back despite getting hit by a literal tide of plants and brood. Directly into the waiting woody maws, and gnashing claw they stood firm. That action of theirs bought the rest of the forces time to reaffirm themselves.

Yet it seemed to not be enough until for some reason the brood and plant forces halted without reason quivering...and there was a strange taste/spark to the air. That was suddenly as if the very air itself was prepped for a massive explosion and when craters appeared arising figures amongst both friend or foe arose that triggered it.

Warning

While the mobile bases rumbles on finally entering the outskirts of the previous region. We can tell we are getting closer to the dark lands and so our forces rest and pay their respects to the ones who fell in battle. Its worth noting the especially dour ones were the Morning crowd who had suffered one of the heaviest losses yet their counterpart was not nearly so harshly effected.

Promotions ceremony has commenced along with rewards being handed out.

Those who were especially noteworthy.

>Officer Borha
kept his troops in order despite the chaos coming from underfoot, behind, and plants themselves.
>Crusader Rhothru
from the Bringers of Morning one of their most legends Rhothru a poet, devout, architect, and a widow. Distinguished himself with sheer valor.
>Soldier Jeniece
Managed to take down the brood forces who were hunting our tanks.
>Ulmesu
a cultist who distinguished herself vey wielding the forbidden lores and more of her kind wreaking havoc amongst the enemy.
>Checho the 'Big'
an ironic name for a surprisingly short pilot...was noteworthy in battle for not retreating along with other flyers despite the hazards managed to stay in the sky and offer support till the very end...the condition of the said chopper on the other hand alone deserves a reward for the sheer fact that upon glimpsing it Gunny Gineer actually feinted.

Exploration of the base reveals that that we some plants that need dealing with...not to mention some surprising amount of damage especially more then one would think even among the upper levels.

We noticed a number of encampments, hives, dens, and more with our pass on the shades. Not sure exactly who they belong to but we do now know where their at. Though our guys did encounter some flyers they were easily evaded and didn't seem to notice our presence.

Our forces have successfully tracked down and utterly purged the plants that we missed...we even noticed some brood forces who snuck aboard and promptly purged those things too. Luckily there were not many of them by any means and we got them before they could do whatever it was they were after. Despite them having found a good spot it didn't do them any good.

The victor of whoever finds the most plant stuff was a pyromaniac by the way known as Flabu the Earnest. Apparently has always taken to flames and burning things especially seeking out more stuff to burn.

Goddamn, that's what I've been thinking of. We need a good old fashioned distillery operation here. No wonder everyone's been so hostile to each other.
>>
>>31660427

Trying to think of.*
>>
>>31660369
It worked for Adero at least once or twice
>>
>>31660427
Just got to be careful last one blew us up and maybe a gym as well. Play b-ball or work out.
>>
>>31660385

>Basic 1
Set up a booze making operation. This base is too dry.

>Basic 2
Gather up the Natko guys. Tell them that all of our guys are strained and chafing at each other. Do their thing and fix it, we're funding them.

>Basic 3
Well we can neither upgrade our vehicles, nor can we make new ones. Ain't that some shit?

Scout around our base again in the Shades lead by Checho the Big. See if they can find any trace of that mobile base that appeared when all the brood and shit showed up.

On another note: Do the Gerz guys think there's enough shit around here to start trying to develop or improve some guns? The Bloodsnows came up with plasma AA platforms from nothing, surely we can R&D fucking something. Can they think of any sort of forward progress we could make? How about Skeller or the Bringers of the Morning? Cuzthians? Fucking anyone, really.

Also, you guys want to change training to hardening our men's grasp on their sanity? The Cuzthians would probably be good at training people for this. I feel like we'll need some training at that considering where we're passing through.
>>
Rolled 78

>>31660531
sounds like a plan. Have gunny rigged some of the left over parts to help make it. Test with water. So it's less likely to make a fire.

Have a trusted person watch over just in case for 2.

Cool with training.
>>
Rolled 36

>>31660574

I agree with all of this.

Anyone feel like switching to the Foolish Civ? These guys would probably be better without our stumbling in a place like this, and I cannot think of a single productive thing to do with our of our downtime during travel.
>>
>>31660574

Concurred.
>>
Rolled 63

>>31660604

Oops.
>>
>>31660531
Uhh...
>>>>>>>>Power: Fast breeder reactor, emergency biofuel generators. Geothermal Spike(unused)

>emergency biofuel generators

That's booze. Let's upgrade the shit out of those... Or do whatever idfk.
>>
Rolled 69

>>31660625

Whoa now there, just because they're both made of not-ethanol doesn't mean that gas is drinkable.

It's all about the nuances, man.
>>
Rolled 2

>>31660625

This guy >>31660664 has it right. We should include that in the discussion though. Ask the Gerz Ind guys and/or Gunny if they can upgrade those.

"No-can-do, you're missing some 'key parts'."

Resources used to be much more useful.
>>
>>31660664
You don't think that between Gunny/Ernest we know how to make some sweet ass shine with our biofuel generators?

>seriously though we have established already with genie that biofuel gens can in fact make drinkable booze very easily.
>>
>>31660717

We have?
>>
>>31660717

It might sacrifice our ability to actually make fuel with them though, and even though we don't need fuel ourselves we'll likely pick up vehicles that need fuel somewhere along the way.
>>
>>31660717
Now I remember it was right after we blew our distillery. Some one asked.
>>
>>31660385

It's strange that we don't have the right equipment to make vehicles (or lots of other stuff for that matter).

Good machine shops these days can make pretty much anything that someone needs to be made. Better ones have 3D printers at this point. I find it odd that our future vehicle-centric military base doesn't have 3D printers (or future-equivalent) and basic current-day machine shop equipment. (We've already verified that raw material isn't the problem, after all we have tons of resources, and massive stockpiles of supplies.
>>
Rolled 42

>>31660717
It only takes mild modifcaton to make sure that its drinkable and it can also rely upon certain 'oils' once they're processed. Drinkable biofuel generators are especially common among Bandit and Survivor elements as that is usually their default.

>>31660827
It wont take much to acquire certain pieces you just have to research it. Problems arise however if it want something that is of better quality.
>>
>>31660734
I'm fairly certain that it is so simple to do compared to making high grade biofuel that it's basically a free action, unless we want to make it in bulk. I don't know about the "emergency" part but a few upgrades... We are going to need fuel anyways.
>>
>>31660863

What type of base quality are we talking about here? Will we be able to research to improve the base quality?
>>
>>31660878

See, when someone says that we're missing parts/need parts I immediately assume that means that we just can't go down that path unless we happen to stumble upon a ruin that has exactly what we need (and the chance of that is basically null).
>>
Rolled 28

>>31660897
That only happens if you want to boost quality aka want the REAL good stuff and even then you can circumvent it possibly...maybe.

Stuff like making paramilitary gear is something that would be a complete bitch and a half. Even mega corps would only be able to produce a 'knock off' albeit it would be pretty good...just not as good as the original. Military groups kept a lot of their best toys to themselves and made sure that they would be very hard to mimic. Combine their natural quality, all the warfare, and scarcity such items are INCREDIBLY valuable in the Post Fall. Only way to trump Pre Fall military tech is Post Think Tanks specialty or going black list tech like the experimental stuff.
>>
>>31660957

And we just lost a fortune's worth of tanks along with that good chunk of our pop on an action list that "didn't hurt as much as it should've."

So there's not that much of a cap on what we can make, provided we invest in research then. Do we have shittons of non-biofuel based energy sources in our fuckmassive stockpile of supplies?
>>
Rolled 48

>>31661037
Yeah...you got entire warehouses full of mini reactors meant to keep your vehicle fleet powered. in a certain highly guarded area this includes plasma reactors for EXTREME measures.

As for being worth a fortune...yeah. That has gotta hurt and that action didn't hurt nearly as much as i thought it would have once I started plugging stuff in.
>>
>>31660957
The fact that we sold our stuff like hot cakes that one time. Makes me laugh now. But now to find think tanks.
>>
Rolled 54

>>31661130

Doesn't hurt that much. Shit's just numbers at this point.

>>31660531
You calling Q&A for the night? If so, at least getting the questions here answered would be nice.
>>
Rolled 59

>>31660531
"Improvements....hard to do. Develop on the other hand certainly just don't expect any miracles or something that can easily trump our current stock."

Skeller suggests jacking Think Tank Speciality tech or Mega corp manufacturing.

Everyone else doesn't really have much of an opinion.
>>
>>31661348
Dam. We will need to improve our R&D department. Maybe the castle will have something if we play our cards right.
>>
Rolled 100

So we discover that paramilitary remnants are perhaps not the best for us, as we can only think of things to kill people with but our equipment already does that better than anything we can come up with and that still isn't enough to ward us from Civdeath.
>>
Rolled 46

>>31661432
oh and the dice gods totally agree SO hard anon.

>>31661430
Think outside the box or for auxiliary purposes. your stocks while amazing are rather limited in scope.

>>31661432
Yeah well Post Apocs tend to do that.
>>
Rolled 26

>>31661432

Prophetic, the dice gods agree.

>>31661430
Eh, this may just be because I'm stuck in the throes of depression but it feels like everything we try to do outside of our specialty is impotent, but that there's no room for improvement inside our specialty either.
>>
>>31661432
And that is number three.
>>31661466
Probably because it's a pain in the ass. But the Azar we used for things got better and their skill shined threw. So if we can get the think tank group up and running. We can try something.
>>
Rolled 80

>>31661466
now that your wrong in both cases.

Base stats are meant to be changed.

Also experience rules it allows you to improve your so called 'speciality'.

At the moment your forces are...not by any means green. Your vehicle skills are quite good though your other stuff is rather lacking but you have since recruited other factions for that. Well besides the new recruits who are drudged up semi regularly the majority of your forces are not green.

Only one problem though you have a lot of factions are under one roof. You got a melting pot that can easily explode in your face if you don't figure out how to curb it.

>>31661490
Think Tanks are really only unstoppable when it comes to their specialty(as in they ACTUALLY managed to improve upon it since the Fall) and even when it doesn't come to their specialty they are still fucking brilliant.
>>
>>31661509
Yup. How does the party feel about the alcohol plan? Should we move it something else. Like make a gym for people or start growing tea?
>>
Now that i think about it. Maybe we can make a temple for the cult of Believers. Give them what they would probably want should help us.
>>
>>31661577
I wonder if building a temple in the darklands would make a noticeable difference in it's effects.
>>
>>31663000
How the crap is this thread still up?
>>
Rolled 10

>>31663757

4chan froze replying for maintenance or something for quite a few hours.

>>31663000
Only one way to find out.
>>
Rolled 46

Maybe Genie will continue.

In which case this: >>31660531
is consensus.

I guess we'll get around to researching vehicle production next turn or something.

I also like the idea of building the religious factions their own little centers of worship. That'll probably make them less grating on people. The rest of our groups are fairly normal guys, so I'm sure they'll get along with each other fine.
>>
>>31663000
... ? Didn't think about that. Maybe it well make our base stay colorless or a room. We probably will need to talk to the cultist about it.
>>
Rolled 97

>>31663829

On the other hand, maybe this'll drop off. Who knows?
>>
>>31663840
Well we can still use this time to talk about tomorrow then. We need to work on our moral that is the main thing. Maybe we have every faction voice what they would like and see if we can add it to the base.
>>
Rolled 13

>>31663866

I feel like that won't rouse much response, but yes we definitely need to work on morale.

We also need to consider that our vehicular expertise is going very underutilized. We have ~500 actual Gearheads, but 35 tanks+~25assorted other vehicles. So whenever we deploy we're leaving a surplus of expert pilots at base. As such I think that getting more vehicles, even if they're of lower quality than our paramilitary gear, will be advantageous because even if their baseline performance is lower they'll be piloted by expert pilots.

Also, our general reserve of vehicles is quite low. We need some replaceable chaff sort of stuff so when we lose tanks we're not taking the brunt of the losses on our paramilitary stuff.
>>
Rolled 20

>>31663906

Expounding on that though, we should try to research up some good ejection measures so that when our meh-tier vehicles get blasted we don't lose their pilots.

Don't want the position of pilot end up being regarded like it was with the Memor.
>>
>>31663906
True, some people don't know what they want till they have it.

Yeah. But we can train them for the other stuff. But I can see making some extra tanks and air craft to help shield the better ones.

Yeah. Luckily if we can find anything we can get it fixed, with gunny's help and the base.
>>
>>31663948
Hell yeah, Lets make sure our people are safe.
>>
>>31663906
I agree, every man, woman and child should have a tank. Not only are our 500 gear heads expert but we have been training everybody in vehicle combat. Power armor seems like a silly choice when a full tank division is an option.
>>
Rolled 72

>>31663975

Yup. Think we should spend any time searching these nearby ruins we're passing through to see if any of them are particularly dense in vehicle wrecks?

I mean, even civilian shit will do, we have the resources right now to upgrade the fuck out of it and we're in yet another resource-dense area (just gotta be careful we don't have another episode like last time). I feel like this place is...mostly quiet, at least our abilities will allow us to operate in it without too much trouble, but I don't think it'll stay so nice and pleasantly grey when we get further into the Darklands.

Anyone want to take bets on the Mobile Base that's following us being Slag's personal mobile base hunting for Rizal?
>>
Rolled 71

>>31663995

I'm fine with everyone else only remaining competent at vehicle combat.

On that note, think we should split our training regimens up between our different groups? Giving everyone training in Combined Arms works to benefit...everyone, but eventually we're going to want to emphasize each group's strengths.
>>
Rolled 41

>>31664039

Alternately it's the base-hijackers looking to give us our men back. That's far too nice of a thing for it to actually happen though.
>>
>>31664039
Yeah, It's worth a try. We may need to hold up and more vehicles will help or parts even. We can upgrade the base with the Assimilate skill.

The main thing is the hives and dens. Fallowed by REDACTED Extremely High.

>We noticed a number of encampments, hives, dens, and more with our pass on the shades. Not sure exactly who they belong to but we do now know where their at. Though our guys did encounter some flyers they were easily evaded and didn't seem to notice our presence.

I hope it's the group that has our people and was trying to give them back, after they tried to take it over. I like to think we have bad asses every where in our group.

>>31664084
True. But we will see what happens. Don't want them blowing each other up.
>>
>>31664230

Perhaps next thread we should switch our scouting action to scouting for ruins that seem particularly dense in resources/materials, or in vehicle wrecks.
>>
>>31664339

The wrecks I don't think we'll have to worry about too much, but any ones that are dense in resources/materials will need to have the old bait+switch routine done on them.
>>
>>31664339
or if any vaults are around. Maybe we can find some survivors/tribals we can team up with and loot like mad.
>>31664367
O yeah we can't forget to do that. Probably with out fire works this time to keep it to the area.
>>
>>31664414
>>31664414

We've still got the ragged remains of the Azar Band, they're awesome at it for their numbers.

It's a shame they apparently won't just lead salvage expeditions, but must do it themselves and therefore limit their effectiveness.
>>
>>31664469
I think it's because we keep saying that way.

Like >>31650230 or >>31650612

I don't think a word version of them leading got threw before.
>>
>>31664537

Aah, right. Keep on forgetting our men default to retard.
>>
>>31664571
Yup. The one true pain that keeps hurting. The heroes don't seem as bad, thankfully.
>>
>>31664603

At least we had that one hero take initiative and sacrifice himself so our chaff-bomb didn't kill us with the Mobile Fortress.
>>
>>31664624
Yeah, that was dam cool.
>>
>>31664684

You know, Gunny is cool and all...but I think we need to stick with having Commanders from here on out in paramilitary civs. That way our soldiers don't do the most retarded interpretations of our plans.
>>
>>31664821
>paramilitary
>humans
>final destination
Every time.
>>
>>31664821
Yeah. Have them plan then act. But even then something could go wrong.
>>
>>31664917

Naw, I liked paramilitary mutants. They were badass and had so much potential.
>>
>>31664938
But remember when we mix civs they get a chance at being worse that a regular one.
