You are Christopher Phillips, previously just another teenage nerd living in a small English town, and a lot of things have changed in your life since you died.

You're starting to learn a few things about your new condition. and about the things lurking under the surface of this ordinary-looking school. You're making new friends, one of whom has been proving herself very useful indeed. You've learned some worrying things about Isabella Donaldson, the school queen who invited you to a party she's throwing tomorrow night. And you're starting to master the dark hungers that keep gnawing at your soul.

Despite everything that's changed, though, you're fairly sure the screaming and shouting coming from next door is not a good sign.
>>
It's Wednesday afternoon, just before lunch, and you're getting changed out of your P.E. kit. You've never been the most athletic of people, but you kept in shape well enough, and you don't seem to tire quite so easily these days. Still, you can't keep up on the running track with people like Zack Stewart, one of the stars of the rugby team, and you've had a fairly exhausting lesson.

That doesn't make it any easier to deal with the sudden noise that's coming from the girls' changing room, though. Mr Heath, one of the P.E. teachers and a former rugby player himself, moves to block the connecting door. "Don't you lot use this as an excuse to pile in and look at girls in their knickers," he growls. "Let Mrs Saunders sort it out." You can hear her bellowing "Break it up! Break it up!" through the door.

Thinking quickly, you poke your head out of the door to the main hallway, and see someone running down the hall towards the administration and medical office, half-dressed and clad in a towel. She's sobbing her eyes out, and you're fairly sure it was Jill. You can hear Isabella and several other girls laughing their heads off in the girls' changing room.

[]Get dressed as quickly as possible and try to chase after Jill

[]Try to make your way into the girls' changing rooms and confront Isabella

[]Trust in the teachers to sort things out. There's nothing you can do here that won't be misinterpreted.

>>
>>25911749
You get dressed and head in the direction you saw Jill running in, towards the medical office. Once you step inside, though, the school nurse bars your way. "Can I help you, young man? You look fine... well, out with it, what's the matter?"

There's a faint sobbing coming from one of the curtained off areas of the medical room.

>>25912069
((No, her P.E. lessons are on Mondays. Zack, Jill, Isabella and Cassandra are all in your P.E. class. Masami isn't - she has some sort of doctor's note letting her skip most P.E. lessons anyway.))

>>
>>25912240
"Could I speak to Jill for a bit, please? I'm a friend of hers. Maybe I can give her a bit of moral support, help calm her down?" You stare calmly into the nurse's eyes.

She blinks for a moment, then frowns and shakes her head. "I appreciate your concern for your friend, young man, but Jill is in safe hands already. Her mother will be here very shortly to pick her up and take her home. Jill is going to be just fine, so you don't need to worry, alright? There's nothing wrong with her, she just panicked a little. Just get to lunch, and I'm sure the two of you can have a nice laugh about it tomorrow."

Jill's mother is coming? That could be... an issue.

[]Get out of here before Jill's mother shows up.

also i should add i think it is not a good idea to confront her mother without even knowing whats going on.

Maybe inform the nurse "Jill hasn't the best relationship with her mother, she actually is frightened of her. "
>>

Confront the nurse, why was Jills mother called if she just paniced? did Jill ask or was this done without her knowledge? Jills mother is not the most...stabalising of influences and will be likely to blame Jill for whatever just happened, so please let me see Jill. Now.

Nothing butter than MHQ to begin a pleasant evening.
>>25912455
>Confront the nurse, why was Jills mother called if she just paniced? did Jill ask or was this done without her knowledge?
She's not of age so it was probably done as a standard action.
>just panicked
I suspect this "panic" was closer to a nervous breakdown.
>>
>>25912325
"If Jill just panicked, why did you call her mother?"

"Well, we call parents any time there's a medical issue with their children, just as a matter of policy. We explained to Mrs White what had happened and she told us she would come over right away and pick her daughter up."

"Look, I can hear Jill crying in there. Why don't you let me go calm her down? No need for her mother to be too worried."

"I understand, young man, but school policy really doesn't allow that sort of thing, especially with a boy and a girl, and with Jill in her current state..."

((Roll 2d6, best of first three. You're going to need an 11+ to convince the nurse to break policy this severely.))

>>
>>25912561
"Well... maybe it would help. But just for a few minutes. Can't have you still here when Mrs White arrives, got it?"

She ushers you into the curtained off area. Jill is sitting on the edge of a bed, in her underwear and a skirt, sobbing quietly. She's clutching herself tightly with her arms.

"Jill? Jill, are you okay? It's me, Chris."

She looks up, tears still filling her eyes. "Chris?" She flinches a little and brings one arm up to cover her breasts, the other one shielding her crotch. "What are you doing here?"

What do you want to say to try and calm her down?

>>25912705
You carefully avoid looking at Jill's body, turning your head away a bit. "I'm just here to help you and see how you are. I'm worried about my friend, okay? Now, what happened?" You try to pitch your voice carefully on the word 'friend', seeing if you can get through to Jill somehow.

Jill is still sobbing a fair bit. "I... I don't know. There was just blood everywhere and I was screaming and then everyone was laughing... I had to get out of there. What do I do, Chris? If I go back they'll all laugh at me again... the nurse said my mother was coming... wait, if my mother is coming - Chris, you need to get out of here, she'll go insane if she sees this. Please?"

Jill's mostly stopped sobbing now. The prospect of her mother's imminent arrival seems to have focused her a bit.

You glance around for somewhere to hide, and duck into the next bed area, pulling the curtains closed. After a little while you hear the curtains in Jill's area rustle a bit, then the door opens.

"Mrs White," says the nurse, "your - "

"Out of my way! Jill? Jill, girl, where are you?" You hear the curtains rustling again. "There you are. Let's get you out of this accursed, sinful place. Don't worry. We'll get you home and properly purified."

She sounds quite calm and friendly, all things considered. You can hear the fear in Jill's voice as she replies "Y-yes, mother", though. There's some more footsteps, and a bang as the medical room door closes behind them.

The nurse frowns at you a little as you emerge, but doesn't say anything as you head off to lunch.

-[x] Tell her that it would be nice if the two of them 'studied' together. But for that to happen, you might need her help to change Jill's mother's view on what's sinful.

Wait. Tell me if I got something wrong, but remember those visions we had? If we actually go to the party and bang Cassandra (As implied by the first vision) Isabella will turn us into one of our underlings. She's a Queen. Her sex move explicitly states that people who bang members of her group become formal group members, too. Pretty meta, but you should consider that when going to the party, guys.
>>
>>25913599
Since when were you under the impression we were going to that party?
No bitch is corrupting us or our Fae.
If anything, we're finding a way to corrupt the bitch on our terms, not hers.
>>
>>25913628
Agreed. And, I just read back up on it. It's not actually her sex move, but the "Many Bodies" move. If we bang either her or one of her slaves, we're (literally) brainfucked until we get the condition removed (it's not permanent).
>>
>>25913628

It's nothing but meta.

We go to the party, find new people to feed of, and have a nice time doing exactly not what the vision implied.

remember that we are actually better at controlling the emotions of others than a Queen is.

Queens control a large group with medium influence

We control targeted people with maximum influence.

If anything, we could take Isabella under our hand and control her entire flock.
>>
>>25913660
Read the post above yours.
Unless we can find a way around THAT, we're fucked. Literally, and not in a good way.
Or our Fae is fucked, which is NOT happening. She's ours, and like I said before, only we can break our toys.

However, if we could heavy-duty seduce her, while getting Avril to get Isabelle to promise not to control us, would that work?
I mean, Avril is FAE.
That means she can bargain and deal and make people follow those deals, right?
Am I just grasping at nothing here, or could this work?
>>
>>25913692
You gave me ideas. Turn her on, put her ass on denial, influence other people to have wild passionate sex with her underlings, and then control the temporary flock through her. Like some kind of wicked Illuminati power pyramid. Tzeentch/Slaanesh would be proud.

"I think something happened between Jill and Isabella earlier. Have you heard anything?"

"I know Isabella's got some sort of funny cameraphone video she was passing around to her friends earlier. They were only showing each other, though. I hope it wasn't anything to do with Jill. They were all laughing really nastily at it."

"I hope so too. By the way, I was wondering if you wanted to... 'study' a bit with me and Jill, sometime."

Avril grins and licks her lips again. "Oh, I'd love to. She looks so sweet and innocent. Do you think she'd go for it, though? She seems pretty repressed."

"I know what you mean. Can you think of any way of dealing with Jill's mother? Changing her views a bit on what counts as 'sinful'?"

She thinks for a moment. "Not really my sort of talent, I'm afraid. Not against her will, anyway. We could trick her so she didn't realise exactly what she was giving up, but she'd still need to agree to something, and we'd need to give her something in return. You could just go for persuading Jill away from her mother normally, but the bonds of family tends to excuse an awful lot. It'd be a slow process, especially since she seems pretty afraid of her mother. I can do what I can to help - this party seems like a good step - but it's going to be up to you in the end. You're the one she trusts."

avril i want your help with isabella. i'll arrange for you to take some lessons from her. get close to her and also learn about her mother without causing suspicion. i want you to push her buttons slowly, be careful not to scare her way though, i know you can do it" smile and kiss her.
jill has put up a wall between her and men, and although we get in between cracks, it would be much easier for a female to get inside the wall and break it from the inside. then we go. [spoiler}MWAHAWHAHAHA I WILL HAVE YOU JILL.[/spoiler]

also when will be jill's b-day again?

>>25913725
Exactly!

Finally someone who gets it! Queen is not this big scary thing we make it out to be. Shes a Provider of many, Master of none.

We, on the other hand, are geared to basically puppeteer a person however we want. Especially scince we took the ability to better seduce people. Now, if we take the more persuasive perk next, then we could easily control Isabella's entire flock.

We also need to warn Avril about Isabelle's party.

>>25913746
Hence why I say we pull what we pulled with avril- exude our influence on her, make her want us, then leave her wanting us, and only us, and thenwalk away. When she's desperate enough, get Avril to make a deal with her- she doesn't control us- or any girls we personally woo-, and we give her all she could have wanted.

This sound good?
>>
>>25913746
sure, but that's something we are going to experience with everything that gives us power for the rest of our lives.

There are plenty of ways to sate ourself other than Isabella.

Besides, we dont have to really sleep with her... just make her want it.

I mean, why the obsession with Masami? We get alot of shit from the few people we already know well.

not the only person, but I just feel we're more of a dark shade of neutral than actual evil.
We want what we want- we're noing to go out of our way to intentionally make peoples' lives hell-
unless the situation calls for that.
So chaotic Neutral or Lawful evil, at the most.

I mean, we intend to seduce Jill away from her mother and according to some people her mother as well but it IS for her own good as well as our interests.
We DO want to control Isabelle, but only because she's queen bitch and a challenge that will act as a perfect test of our powers and further our status.

I may be overanalyzing our character after only four threads, but that's the feeling I get from him so far.

Yeah i suppose we have relatively Nuetral intentions, however I refuse to budge that we need to seduce and control Isabella. At the very least have her on our side. She is either the woman who will support our climb to the top, or the tool that we use to cultivate our powers.
>>
>>25914055
Agreed, now need to seduce. Being an acquaintance without aggressive mutual feelings would be good enough. But she might see us as competition.

>>25913814
You don't just go back on a deal with Fae- you fucking DON'T.
And since we control a Fae, we can control her, with the proper wording, and stipulations, she won't be allowed to control Jill or Avril once it's done.
We may be a schemer and manipulator, but we care about our girls.
>>
>>25914002
You glance around, spotting a large patch of bushes, and pull Avril over to it. She smiles as she follows you, carefully pushing the bushes aside to let you both make your way into the centre.

***

By the time the bell goes for the end of lunch there are some grass stains and a few bits of dirt on your trousers and Avril's skirt and the back of her blouse. She grins, kissing your neck again. "We really ought to get condoms or something", she pants. "Wait, you mean -" "Probably not. But better safe than sorry, right? And if you want to have Jill yourself and not just leave her to me, she's definitely going to have to worry about that sort of thing."

We have a legitimate thing to do to get in contact with the mother. Avril told us we had to get her to talk freely with us, so we must become someone she knows.

>>
>>25914500
Jill's mother would say it is SIN to get friends in the house.
>>
>>25914166

((Huh. Where'd everyone go? Well, writing now.))

You head over to the library, hoping to find some more information on what you are now. There's not much in the way of fancy occult texts in your local library, but you do find a few references to things called 'ghouls' that are dead bodies animated by unnatural hungers. They're usually supposed to eat flesh, but apparently some legends talk of them hungering for other, unspecified things. ESP is associated with all sorts of things, from telekinesis to shamanic vision trances. Some shamans would apparently work themselves into a frenzy or starve themselves to exhaustion to better disconnect from their bodies, while others used a wide variety of herbs and chemicals to enable a vision quest.

You also decide to try phoning Jill's house on the off chance that she might answer the phone instead of her mother. When her mother picks up, however, you get as far as "Hello, Mrs White, I -" before she slams the phone down.

You head home, trying to plan. Isabella's party is tomorrow night. Between now and then you only have Chemistry with Jill and Avril, and R.E. with Isabella.

What do you want to do tomorrow?
>>
By the way, did we tell Avril that we were going to Isabella's party?

You manage to get Avril to sit with you and Jill during Chemistry class. Jill is looking very nervous, and opts to sit on the other side of Avril from you. You try to press her for more details about yesterday during one of the busier parts of class.

"I'm... still not sure. My mother says it's a curse. My punishment from God for thinking sinful thoughts and, um... hanging around with boys." She looks down at her desk for a moment. "I... I told her I didn't hang around with any boys. She said that unless I stayed away from boys, stayed away from sin, God wouldn't purify me of the blood. I... I'm not sure what to think, Chris. I don't see why God would want me to avoid you. I... might try it for a few days, though. If you don't mind? I'll still come to the birthday party. God can't curse people just for birthdays, can he?"

Avril smiles. "Of course not, sweetie. Hey, if you're not supposed to be around boys, what about girls? Is it sinful to spend a bit of time with another girl?"

"I... I suppose not. Mother didn't say anything about girls.You... you still need some tutoring?"

"Absolutely. You could come to my place tomorrow, maybe?"

"Y-yeah, that'd be nice. I'll let mum know I'll be tutoring you and I'll be back late."

R.E. is after lunch, so you grab Avril and take her outside while Jill has lunch with Masami.

Are you going to ask Avril about plans for the two of you at the party? If you want to bring her along you'll really need to tell her about it now.
>>
>>25914998

We had bad premonitions about the party, especially about Avril being there, but if we can secure Isabelle in a deal, it'll all be fine.
We need to know if we can MAKE that deal in the first place, and if we can't, we don't go, because we'll be getting mindraped if we go alone, apparently.
>>
>>25915084

>>
>>25915084
Yes.

Avril is coming as our date. She can help us woo the favor of Isabella's crowd.

If Isabella thinks she can manipulate us, then we have the upper hand to turn the tables.
>>

>>
>>25915096
okay, i though in character info was clear enough. we saw ourselves and/or avril turn into mindless things.

>>25915144
It's not Isabella's crowd we need to woo, it's Isabella herself- her crowd are basically an extension of her in any case. But I agree that the two of us should go and woo Isabella. Get her wanting us, and then fore her into a deal that prevents her from controlling us.

On that note, I think we should make a deal with Avril that neither of us will fuck anybody at the party- the ensuing fairy magic ought to keep both of us fairly safe from outside influences, yes?
>>
>>25915110
>>25915131
>>25915144

unless the deal is a green light. then we dress her conservatively. She's there to help us score a new follower, not turn heads, and NOT attract unwanted attention.

No taking Avril to any Isabella's party.
>>
Invite Avril to the party.

Plan to go and find some more people to dominate.

>>
>>25915188
>force her into a deal that prevents her from controlling us
or anyone we control- there will be no crossing of the streams on her part. We control her, we control her flock, but she doesn't touch ours except with our explicit permission.
Touching any of them without that permission will violate our agreement, and then we get to enact a punishment.

"Avril, if someone had a vision that might be of the future... is that fixed?"

"Not usually - it's a vision of what would have happened, if you hadn't had the vision. Otherwise things get really recursive. Act on the information in the vision, and you can change things. Why, what did you see?"

"You remember Isabella? She invited me to one of her parties. I meditated a bit on the whole thing, and it looked pretty bad. Either you or me with our eyes going blank and dazed. Under her control. If - and that's if - we go to the party, is there any way you could protect us? If we made a deal with each other not to fuck anyone else, or if we made a deal with Isabella that she couldn't control us?"

Avril bites her lip thoughtfully and sits there for a moment, turning things over in her head. "A deal between the two of us, we could just be tempted into breaking, and then we'd suffer the penalties and still be under her control. A deal with her, though... Risky. It might work, if it's strong enough. She seems to work in bargains and deals too, so she might take a deal without realising how big the penalties for breaking it were. The only real issue is that I can't make a deal like she can, where I just take everything and leave nothing. We'd need to offer her something to make it worth the trade. Something she wants badly enough that she wouldn't care about the other clauses in the deal. What do we have that she wants that badly?"

>>25915520
If we seduce her, with Abril's help, Isabella would want us enough to agree with anything.

Hehehe... Lets do it
>>
>>25915520

Truce? Alliance of goals?

Within the microcosm of our school, fairly certain the big three supernatural players are us, Avril and Isabella. Nobody else really stands out. We could agree to like, stay out of eachother's business, or do mutual support, in exchange for NOT being assholes. It's a win-win for us, kinda.

Also, pretty sure Isabella or one of her cronies is a Witch. Probably hexed Jill. And her ability to take sympathetic tokens would explain how she can "take" power over people without giving back, like Avril has to.
>>
>>25915520
a nigth full of pleasures she never even knew that existed.
>>
>>25915520
Okay, so not only do we NEED to get Isabelle on our side- she deals in absolutes, taking everything- we NEED to not get caught by her.
So we go with what we originally intended- we flirt heavily, we get her oh so very interested...and then we stop.
Let's leave Avril at home, and then get her to call us periodically, and then we act like the call we get during the seduction is incredibly important, and leave.

Does this appeal to anyone?
>>
New plan.

Go to party.
Seduce Isabella
Avril is on our arm, giving us props and desirability and assistance
Isabella is intrigued.
Commit to nothing. Make her want us.
Then either get to making the deal at the party, or later at school.

Either way, I say lets take a risk and live on the edge.
>>
>>25915668

To clarify on that, it would be kind of an olde-timey truce.

Isabella doesn't hurt us and ours, we wont hurt her and hers. We do not interfere, we offer what aid is within our power if asked, and she pledges the same. Either we actually make a decent alliance that keeps Isabella out of our hair, or she suddenly and inevitably betrays us, in which case she takes the supernatural backlash from breaking a promise with the Fae. And also then maybe we punch her inna face.
>>
>>25915686
Hmmm good plan, but I honestly think Avril would be a help. She could run interference for us at the very least.

Our nerdy ass having a hot date would make Isabella that much more interested.

>>
>>25915686
>>25915700

Problem, though, guys. We don't know quite /how/ Isabella takes deals. She doesn't operate by the same "promise" style rules as Avril. She could be some variety of magic, which means she could bind us with the usual drop of blood, strand of hair, name from our own lips deal. Living on the edge is interesting, but it's possible we could live forever. We don't want to stumble and end up with a bad deal until Isabella dies of old age. We supernatural now, we play the fucking long-game.
>>
>>25915800
If anything goes wrong, we could always use force
>>
>>25915832

if by force you mean brute strength or the like, go read through previous threads and come back.
if you mean our ?power to command?, then it might help us some but it certainly is not absolute.
>>
>>25915885
I mean that we could always take the perk "faster stronger harder" instead of "more persuasive" if we thought we are getting a bit too deep without coming up for air.
>>
>>25915952
though we need an accomplishment to let us have a new perk, and failing here definitely will not get us one. also that perk is just boring and doesnt match our playstyle so far.
>>
>>25915520
"Well, we could offer her some sort of truce, if we figure out a way to make her see us as an opposing power and not just prey. But we might be better off seducing her - you remember how badly you wanted me after I played with you on Sunday. Do you think that would work on Isabella too?"

Avril pouts a little. "I guess it might, sir. Just... be careful, yeah? She's sure to be trying the same thing on you. When's the party?"

"Tonight, at 8. Do you know where Isabella's house is?"

"That giant mansion place on the edge of town? Yeah, I'll meet you outside. Make sure to wait for me."

R.E. is conducted by the appalling boring Mr Miller, who doubles as a History teacher and is generally more interested in the historical significance of religious icons or practices than their actual religious relevance. Today he's droning on about the Spanish Inquisition and its hunt for heretics and cults. Isabella is sitting near the back looking bored and occasionally rolling her eyes. Oh, and Masami is here. You didn't realise you had this class with her - she's sitting in the back corner, fiddling with her pendant and not saying a word.

Mr Miller does encourage some classroom discussion, as long as it's kept quiet, so you could probably move over a little and have a quiet word with either of them.

[]Talk to Isabella about tonight's party.

No, no, see
we're proposing doing to Isabelle what we did to Avril- seduce her, get her going, then leave, and have her want us even more. We want to switch her focus from Avril to us.

She rolls her eyes a bit. "I did tell you not to talk to me about that at school. But fine, hurry up with your questions if you keep your voice down. I'll just say you were giving me test answers or something."

"Just wondering if I needed to bring anything, or wear anything, or if there's a cover charge or something."
"A cover charge? It's not a fucking nightclub, idiot, it's a party. Bring booze if you can get any, wear something that's not going to embarrass yourself - no jeans and t-shirt, no school uniform, got it? - and make sure that Avril chick sticks around. You bring me her, and I can guarantee you'll see your social life at this school turn a corner, alright? Fail me, and you'll still be single in your retirement home." She turns away from you, gets out her phone and starts texting someone.

Anything else you want to do before you get ready to head to the party?
>>
>>25916441

Overconfidence kills. Isabella has been a monster for longer than Chris, why do you think she won't resist Chris' advances? She doesn't even see him as a sexual being.
>>25916496

Hmm, no, she isn't? Well, maybe Avril, but Jill and Masami seem to be pretty safe and forgotten by Isabella.
>>
>>25916547
>Fail me, and you'll still be single in your retirement home

That's a threat. I don't like that. We nuke her house from orbit, then we party like it's the 60's again.
>>
>>25916562
Isabella has a big head. Her powers are also not traditionally supernatural so chances are she doesn't even know how she does things herself.

Either way, we are geared to handle a single girl. We can make her want us.
>>
>>25916547

Well, yeah...no.
No, Avril's our ticket to her. She's not touching the Fairy.

>>25916562
And that's why it'll be such a suckerpunch. Notice how we don't exactly act like our new selve around her much at all.
A bit forward, yes, but not with our new and improved attitude.
Then the party comes, drinks are imbibed, and we strike.
>>
>>25916547
We probably should be planning a few exits from the party should things go bad. Nothing says a loss of control like panic setting in should we anger the Queen in her lair surrounded by her subjects with no unbiased witnesses and bad things happen.
>>
>>25916547

>Fail me, and you'll still be single in your retirement home.

Oh, how little she knows.
>>
So clearly, Avril is our date.

Avril is the key. She talks us up. She provokes our interest for Isabella. When Isabella can't figure out why Avril is wrapped around our finger, she will prod us. We will prod back

With our dick

Ok maybe not, but atleast she will get we re the key to Avril. Then we stretch our mouth and get Isabella to fall for our game.

>>
>>25916788
You try to catch Isabella alone after class, but her swarm of underlings are always hanging around her - if you want to get her alone again it'll probably have to be at the party.

You take a moment to think about good exit routes from the party if things go sour. You've never actually been over to Isabella's house before - whenever you worked on the project she insisted on coming over to yours (and leaving you with all the actual work). You know it's out on the edge of town, and there's a bit of woodland nearby - if you really had to make a run for it you might try losing people in there. That's about all you can think of.

With a brief walk around campus you spot Jason lounging around behind one of the buildings, in a shady corner.

"Hi, Jason. It's been a while, hasn't it?"

"Chris!" He clasps your hand and grins. "It has, man, it has. Way too long. We should catch up some time. But, uh, not right this second? I'm kinda working."

"Yeah, I know. I was actually hoping to talk to you about that. I was wondering if you had anything for people who... want to get a girl interested in them. Very interested in them."

Jason frowns a little. "I get the feeling you're not just talking about a bit of Viagra or whatever. I might be able to pull something special, but I don't carry the rare stuff all the time - when do you need it? And what do you need it for? I know we've known each other for a while, but I don't want a lot of heat on me."

"Don't worry about it, man, it's nothing that will get you into trouble or anything. Just trying to turn my girlfriend on a bit more strongly. The thing is, I need it by tonight before 8, okay?"

Jason frowns a bit. "Tonight is going to be a little tricky, with the par - wait a minute. Did you somehow manage to score an invite to Isabella's party? Hah. Dude, you don't need any help to get the girls there turned on. They'll all be begging for it within half an hour. Still, if you want some extra help, I'll have all my best stuff at the party.. Talk to me when you're there if you're still interested. One last thing, though - you don't get a discount just because we're old buddies, you got that? This stuff isn't cheap, and it doesn't just cost pounds and pennies."

You head home, put on your best looking outfit, a nice shirt and some smart looking trousers, and head over to Isabella's house, telling your parents you're going to the library.

It's big. Really big. Avril wasn't kidding when she said 'mansion'. This place must have been an old country house at some point - it's even got a drive leading up to it. You don't see Avril outside, but Cassandra is meeting and greeting people at the gate.

"Hey, Chris! Isabella said you might make it. She'll be inside - go on in. Have a drink, grab some pills, grab a girl or a guy or whatever takes your fancy. Isabella will come find you when she's free."

>>25918150

Leveler heads will try to prevail.

So, general note to the thread, especially since our date is Fae. We should play by the old-school rules. We've been invited in, so that's taken care of, but let's not break the rules of sacred hospitality first. Isabella is our host, after all. We wait to fuck her over until she tries to fuck us over. And if all else fails we chuck her out a window and it was a TERRIBLE PARTY ACCIDENT.
>>

>>25918222

Second vision was Avril getting fucked. And we invite her to this shit.

You guys are not paranoid enough for our unlife.
>>
>>25917677
You give Cassandra a winning smile. "I think I'd rather stay here with you. You must get lonely out here - why does Isabella have you working the gate when you could be inside dancing with me?"

"Well, it's only fair that each of us takes a turn out here. Except Isabella, of course, she has to coordinate things inside. I'd rather be inside, of course, but I'll get my turn soon enough, and someone has to be the beacon for the newcomers, right?"

"Well, you're certainly a shining light in the darkness, Cassandra." You give her another smile, and she laughs.

"Hah... oh, you're an interesting one. I can see why Isabella invited you. I'd be very happy to welcome you properly. I'll be off-duty in half an hour - come and find me upstairs, alright?"

You hear some footsteps behind you, and then Cassandra says "Avril, darling! You made it, it's so good of you to... um." Avril takes you by the arm and sweeps right past Cassandra, ignoring her completely. You can feel that she's clutching your arm quite tightly.

Once you're walking down the drive, you take a moment to look at Avril. Her dress is silver, sheer, and clings beautifully to all of her curves. It's low-cut and has a long, gauzy but not *quite* transparent section right down the front, all the way to her ankles. You can't make anything out, but you only see pink under there. And a hint of green. There are slits on both sides of the dress right up to her hips, letting her stalk up the drive like a hunting lioness.
>>
>>25918319
((Darn that character limit. More in a moment.))
>>
>>25918316

Oh, no-no. We were never /alone/. Isabella was in them, and we're sharper than that, at this point.

I mean, personally, I've tried to be more paranoid, y'know, I was one of the first people saying we should act like a predator, and one of the ones suggesting we play the long-game, but, I mean, Chris has been undead for like, what, 3-4 days at this point? A week?

>>
>>25918416

>>
>>25918444
>Its all for show of course, you know you're the only woman for me
yeah ... NO.
>>
>>25918319
Inside, the house is quite stunning. The main entrance has a glass chandelier high above, two sweeping mahogany stairways leading up to a second floor landing, and chairs and tables everywhere that look like they wouldn't be out of place in a period Edwardian drama. Most of them have people lounging across them in various states of dress, drinking, chatting, laughing, and occasionally taking pills or holding bags of powder. Music drifts in from other rooms, a couple of different songs merging together surprisingly well. Some people you recognise from Isabella's posse are circulating, some holding trays of drinks, others with food and what look like small containers of pills, and a few picking out select people from the crowd and escorting them upstairs.

Isabella is standing at the top of the two stairways, on the balcony. When she sees the two of you she smiles and waves, then walks down one of the stairs. She's wearing a short black dress, ending at mid-thigh, and knee-high black boots. She seems to have even more cleavage than she does at school, and she's made up to the gills as well.

"Chris, Avril. So good of you both to make it. You look stunning, my dear, absolutely stunning. This is going to be a party to remember, I can guarantee you that. Can I get you anything? A drink, something to eat? Or would you prefer to come upstairs with me? That's where the real party begins."

What we really need to do is avoid fucking anyone here, and Avril has to do the same.

>>25918748
I have a bad feeling about this
>>
>>25918666

Yeah, NPCs seem to react and take their best courses of action based on the knowledge they have. Avril is way better informed than us anyway.

Which is another thing to consider, since we had the visions, and we told Avril about them, the party literally can't play out like we saw. Even subconsciously, we're aware of the danger.

It would be better if we could have gazed again and seen what the party or even more on Isabella was like before we went into this mess, but the likely hood of things playing out exactly like we saw are super low. That's not to say Isabella isn't going to chop our dick off with a ritual dagger or we're not going to pitch someone down the stairs, or the building will get set on fire or something else bad will happen, but actively worrying about what we saw is pointless. We concern ourselves with the intent, which is that Isabella wants to rule people, specifically Avril and/or us at this point.
>>
>>25918483
"I'd love to, but maybe a bit later. This is our first time at one of your parties, after all - we should savour it a little."

Isabella looks briefly surprised when you speak up rather than Avril, but her expression goes back to predatory and seductive quickly enough. "Do enjoy yourself. We've got everything you need to fulfill your heart's desire, no matter what it is. But like I said, the real party's upstairs. Don't keep us waiting too long. We might have to start without you." She smiles and sweeps back up the stairs.

You make your way through a couple of rooms of drugs, drinking and the occasional bit of sex before you find Jason. He's in a glass-walled dining room looking out at the pool. Judging by the number of people swimming and/or screwing in it, it's clearly a heated pool, too. You knew Isabella's parents were rich, but this is something else.

Jason is lounging on a large couch, clearly having a good time - he's got a guy leaning on one of his arms, a girl on his other arm and another girl kneeling between his legs. He laughs and waves when he sees you. "Wow, Chris, that's quite the date you've got there. When did you become a lady-killer?" He extracts himself carefully from the couch, zips himself up and walks over to you. In a slightly quieter voice, he says "I presume you're here for that little bit of help you wanted? Like I said, the price for something like this isn't just money. Two drops of blood. One to activate it. One as payment."

Honestly, I suspect more and more that Isabella is a Witch, or has one on her crew. I don't think it was too clear what happened to Jill, but it reminds me of one of the examples for the Hexes. Likewise, the power she takes over people could be in the form of sympathetic tokens.

Of course, most of the rest of her MO matches the Queen's archetype pretty well. Though, she seems to operate away from a gang of followers decently, more just attracts hangars on. Honestly, I wouldn't expect any NPCs to be played straight with the other Skins, but there's arguments for both.

As a point of interest, how many non-core official skins are there? I have a couple of them, but I'd like to snag the complete set for when I try running for my group.
>>
>>25919232
I wouldn't bet on it. If he really was our friend we would know about his MAGIC shit.
>>
>>25919291

If you could protect your friends from entering your world by keeping them in the dark would you? Also why would we ever believe him if he told us the truth before now?
>>
>>25919186
alright people, if and when we decide to go upstairs, we get ourselves a lighter and something inflammable beforehand. because FIRE. and FIRE solves everything.
you seem fucked ? FIRE
you are bored ? FIRE
there is a fire? fight FIRE with FIRE
>>
>>25919186

Is why I personally mix metagaming with trying to draw conclusions based on the information we're given. Mostly I try to stick explicitly with either our on Ghoul stuff, or general mechanics.

>>25919180
>>25919232

We may need the extra leverage. So, we should make conclusions based on as much information as we can gather. We ask him what he does with the blood we use to pay with, and we ask him to tell us as much of what he knows about the shit he's dealing us and what it does before we decide. Rash refusal could be as messy as rash acceptance. Our problem is we're a very social focused person/character, including building up Cold last time, I believe, and I'm not sure that's the right angle to take to beat or survive Isabella. Luckily, the Ghoul is Volatile +1, so we do have a slight statistical edge if we need to GTFO or knock some skulls.
>>
>>25919180
Pretty hard. It's not impossible, but it'll take work. You're not just going to be able to look into her eyes and go "Mine" and have her jumping at your heels.
You haven't met Jill's mother face to face. You were hiding behind a curtain when she showed up, remember. She had a husband at some point. Jill doesn't talk about him.

>>25919272
Oh, come now. Don't you trust your QM?

>>25919287
I think there's four - the Angel, the Hollow, the Selkie and the Serpentine - but don't quote me on that.
>>
>>25919331
That's my point. Even if we didn't believe him he could come to us and say he could have told us.

We used to be friends. Nowadays I wouldn't trust him.
>>
>>25919058

MH, how big was your :3 smile when we decided to go to the party? On a scale from 1 to Cheshire?

>>25919358
>>25919287

Will trade Serpentine, Hollow or Angel for Selkie.

For you, anon. I also have The Anansi and The Fury, if you like.

"Yes this is Saint Johns mental ward how may I help you?"

"Yeah my friend thinks hes some kind of monster thing and took some of my blood for (reasons)! He needs Help!"

"Ok just give me the address and we'll have somebody look into it."

And then either a group of hunters come and investigate and or a mental doctor comes to town to check up on him.
>>
>>25919358
I trust no one.

Also, where can I get the rules for monsterhearts for download? I don't wanna buy shit btw
>>
>>25919382
Not nearly as big as the one prompted by another post, which I've been expecting since at *least* the start of the thread, probably earlier. I was disappointed there wasn't more panic there, though. I love that moment when a player suddenly has the penny drop.

>>25919412
Oooh, I don't have the Anansi. I presume that's just what it says on the tin?

The Anansi looks pretty fun. I'm also looking forward to Second Skins, which I just found out a bout.
>>
>>25919412

You're a gentleman and a scholar. I have the other two. Need anything in return?

>>25919442

I got to the thread a little late, so I skimmed a tiny bit. Is this event far enough in the past that its too late to change, so you can say what it is and we can all panic now, or will we have to go back over all past decisions with a fine tooth comb.
>>
>>25919555
It's not an event, as such, so I won't spoil things, especially because it hasn't been confirmed in character yet. Feel free to go back over the thread with a fine tooth comb if you like, but I doubt it will help.

>>25919482
Thank you very much, kind sir. Anything you're looking for?
>>
>>25919555
>Need anything in return?

Not unless there's another skin that hasn't been mentioned here yet, thanks.

For completeness's sake, the non-core skins I know and can provide:

Anansi
Angel
Fury
Hollow
Selkie
Serpentine
Succubus

Anything I'm missing, or anything anyone wants?
>>
>>25919620
The internet informs me that there's also the Incubus, which looks to be something of a mirror image of the Succubus, and the Raksasah, which I'm not quite sure how you'd go about using. Blog called nerdwerds has them both, along with a whole bunch of other Apocalypse World content.
>>
>>25919849
Cheers! I'll look into those.
>>
>>25919358
A CHALLENGE, THEN.
Challenge Accepted.
I suppose the difficulty would scale as
Avril=easy modo
Isabella=more difficult, but doable
Jill=Hard mode?

because that seems to be how things're going.
>>
>>25919975
I wouldn't count Isabella out just yet... as someone said further up, I play my NPCs smart. She may surprise you yet.
>>
>>25920015
i still wish we had just skipped the party and focused on jill.
regrets, regrets...
>>
>>25920015
this only terrifies me more, OP.
Seriously.

GUYS GUYS

HOW ABOUT WE FIND CASSANDRA, SEDUCE HER AND GIVE HIM CASSANDRA'S BLOOD?
>>
>>25920282
he'll probably ask for it there and then?
I mean, well...that's what I'd do if I wans a magical drug dealer.
>>
>>25920311
Then we offer him that, or we can come back later, say we need to think about it.
>>
>>25920344
I also want to include a bit of paranoia that just popped into my head-
We're assuming his magic's unrelated-
what if he wants our blood so that Isabelle can bind us?
What if he's one of the lackeys just enjoying a position of power, not an actual player in the game?
>>
>>25920507
i considered that too, but we wont be giving him our blood anyways. or at least thats what i hope.please dont go giving our blood
>>
>>25920282
thats a brilliant idea.

Lets get cassandras blood.

Offer her a drink, with a rag underneath. when she takes it, squeeze the glass til it breaks.

It will cut our hands, but quickly use the rag to wipe her hand with our condolences
>>
>>25920939
And then we get our blood all over Cassadra. What's even the point in not giving him the blood if we do this?
>>
it probably is not just about acquiring the blood but someone giving it willingly, thats what i think anyways, could be wrong.
>>
>>25921003
sure we may cut ourselves, but Cassandra will recoil instantly.

then we pocket our bloody hand, and wipe hers.

I only suggest this because ive seen it done IRL

>>25922295
>>25922295

>>
>>25922752
What are the rules for /d/ quests? Got a thread link?
>>
>>25922994
for players its the same as everywhere.
there is rule for example for the qm to share a pic with every post. and also, quest should be relevant to the board etc.
>>
>>25923128
Makes sense. Was this figured out by trial and error, or did a mod come a say what had to be done to not get deleted?
