We've got a schedule to keep, people! Move it!>Implying MetaOp has any concept of time.Hey! HEY! I saw that greentext! Report to my office, Simmons!TG QUEST!Last thread: http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive/19496965/Day: 3Current Objectives: 6/6 SUES in containment. Attempt to repair space-time non-lethally by transporting them away.Fleet Location: Main force hiding behind the moon. Indefatigable wreckage in AUH ship bay. Al'Keshes running operations planetside. Oncoming Storm in high orbit.Inventory: http://pastebin.com/HGsJUZZbDescriptions: http://pastebin.com/UpKiRZnh
>>19524278Oh hey! I thought you weren't running this till tomorrow!
gives us a chance to argue about requisitions.
>>19524278Okay, plan from last thread:Get Tom into a stasis pod, or have an Abjurer use the Smoky Confinement spell on him.Once we have him in stasis, one way or another, we should move the SUE's we've captured over to the All Under Heaven.Have the brig festooned with reality emitters and secured with knockout gas, and have the SUE's contained there. Make sure that the Indefatigable is secure in the AUH's main hangar bay, and then have it transit back to base. Call up Holtz and let him know that the Storm is staying for an extra few hours to make sure that the reality distortions are all gone.Once the All Under Heaven transits out, we can make sure with the Storm's sensors that all reality distortions are gone. Also, because of the 13 hour time difference, it's the afternoon in America, and we can collect up the ice cream we promised Skuld, the booze we promised Urd and that we need to get for Holtz, and with some hacking to create credit cards with $100,000 credit limits, give Cheryl, Agrias, Lyla, Elaine, Lavian, Alicia, and the others the shopping trip to Manhattan that they wanted.
When last we left our Command Crew, they had successfully defeated the SUE Tom despite his mastery of Time. The Abjurers cast Smoky Confinement on his dying body, then spirit the prison-gem away to the Containment Bay. Others work to conceal the operation as your exhausted fighters make their way back to the Storm.
>>19524297I wasn't going to, but Codeki kept talking until I figured, "If I'm going to talk all day about it, might as well actually do it.">>19524321ANON notes there is a large risk moving the SUEs from the Containment Bay, but your troops begin the transfer anyway.
>>19524389>large riskHave the engineering teams, with Egon, Dr. Cossack, Data, and Engineer go over to the All Under Heaven's brig, and begin upgrading it to meet the security requirements of our 'special guests'.We're not going to have the AUH transit out until we're sure it's reasonably safe.
>>19524389Well, before it's done, make sure that there is a containment bay with the same quality of the one they're in. Don't need to take too many chances.
We're going to want SCP Troopers with reality disruptor rifles and a full KI Tactical Squad and a KI Devastator Squad guarding those stasis pods. In addition, does Mouse think he has the spare time to either hack the New York Stock Exchange in order to give us a stock portfolio with a couple hundred thousand dollars, or hack the Visa and Mastercard servers for a couple dozen obsidian credit cards with $100,000 limits?
rolled 46 = 46>>19524544>>19524416>>19524461Mouse attempts to gather some funds as the brig of the AUH is prepared for special guests. The requisite troops are assigned to guard the pods and the gem. While the brig is prepared, a massive delivery of ice cream and booze is being prepared by the ship's mess staff for delivery to the Morisato residence.>Cheryl, Agrias, Lyla, Elaine, Lavian, Alicia, and the others the shopping trip to Manhattan that they wanted.Adding to writing queue.
>>19524389>>19524321Wait wait wait wait. Hold up on the transfer. If Holtz was able to tell if the reality distortions were smoothing out from all the way where he was, shouldn't we be able to warp out with all of our ships and ask Holtz if the reality distortions are clear from that sector, and forego the risk of transferring the SUEs and breaking containment on them?
>>19524617Mouse manages to get a credit line set up for $20,000 for the girls. Not as much as you wanted, but more than enough for one HELL of a night on the town. The next day the brig is prepared and the SUEs wheeled over. The KI and SCP are assigned to guard them. Any other preparations before the grand experiment begins?
>>19524644Very good. Yes, you can.
>>19524644>>19524675Alright, are we scrubbing the experiment, then?Or are we going ahead?
>>19524663OP, have we automagically taken care of loose ends before our departure? Such as:1.) Get the observer that Banpei KO'd. I think it might have landed in a remote wilderness in China.2.) Casting Obliviate on select people (i.e. Megumi, other canon-essential characters that may have witnessed the battle/attack on Nekomi Tech) and Creating cover stories for the Chaos incursion on Nekomi Tech.
I think it'd be safer to do at at Base. That way we'd only need to move them once should we get extra req for them.
>>19524701>>19524718Seconded. Our R&D crew is probably one of the best out there, but the base techs have been doing this a lot longer than we have. Probably better to scrub the experiment and safely/certainly contain the SUEs onboard the Storm, and use requisition points to kit out the All-Under-Heaven.Also: What are we going to do about Guy's reality emitter?
>>19524718Well, the experiment was to see if moving a SUE out of a Canon would repair all reality distortions in that Canon. Originally it was believed that we would need to keep the Oncoming Storm in the Canon while the All Under Heaven transited out with the SUE's, since the Storm is the only ship that has the sensor suite which can pick up reality distortions. But now it sounds like Holtz has sensitive enough sensors at Sector HQ, that we could transit all ships at once, and he'd be able to tell if the Canon has been cleansed. Is this right? And since Holtz can check for us, we don't need to transfer the SUE's over to the All Under Heaven.
>>19524707You retrieved the Observer without any problems, and cover stories are covered by your teams' JSDF story. If you want to start tracking the people that were down there for Oblivation, though, that will require some rolls. So you are going to warp back to base and have Holtz check?
>>19524803The team had their fun on the town, right? If the SUE's are secure in the Storm's Containment Bay, then...Oh, wait.We needed to steal a huge pile of diamonds (enough to power two or three True Resurrections) from the main DeBeers vaults.Use a couple of Al'Kesh and the Storm's sensors to find the diamonds and beam them up.
Well, since the distortions should be done, we can probably just leave after our Heroes are done on thier night out.Holtz will tell us if we missed something.
>>19524803We might want to send a quick message to the goddesses regarding the Doublet System being crashed. Although the warping of the SUEs outside of the canon may fix the situation (and I'm preeeettty sure that we mentioned that the Doublet System was presently down on several conversations), they may still want to know about such things.I'm also kinda leaning towards tracking down non-divine canon characters and Obliviating them, if necessary. Chaos' attacks were brutal and gory. That's not something that a regular person can merely ignore or adapt to without some lasting mental trauma.
>>19524842Diamonds for the True Resurrections! Can't forget those.1 for Gaunt, and enough to do another one just in case. And Cheryl should have already let the goddesses know that the Doublet System crashed, and they need to reboot it.Can we get confirmation on that, MetaOP?
>>19524882If their knowledge is a problem, then it should show up as a reality distortion. We can have ANON do a final sensor sweep of Nekomi City for anything we need to take care of.
-Night on town-Diamonds-LeaveThe reality wave shifting everything back to normal should fix what we leave behind. We just need to leave.
rolled 28 = 28>>19524898Cheryl explains about the Doublet System, yes.Your forces attempt a daring Al'Kesh heist!
>>19524924Oh god, what the fuck?Do we, can we, beam Vitun over to the Al'Kesh and have him give a Bit of Luck Double Roll to the Al'Kesh crew?
>>19524953We're out till he sleeps.
>>19524953>>19524924I think some divine entity is about to tell us "you've had your fun here. Now go."
>>19524924Mouse manages to locate a DeBeers vault for the Al'Keshes to raid, but something unexpected happens. As they beam out a generous pile of diamonds, their cloaks begin to malfunction for no apparent reason. The operation is aborted immediately and the Al'Keshes return to base.>Gained: 20,000 GP of diamonds.
>>19524995Well, looks like we'll either have to steal the remaining 5,000 gold worth, buy it using roundabout means, or simply manufacture another 20,000 gold worth of synthetic diamonds.Alright, so the crew had their fun, yes?If so, make preparations to transit back to Sector HQ.
>>19524995Good enough for now. Let's head back to base now for Req and Rest.
>>19525036>>19525040So... what are we doing about Guy's reality emitter? Are we going to try to keep it secret, or turn it in and hope for the best?
>>19525050keep it, research it. Put no mention of it in our report. We will tell holtz, but only in person.
rolled 67 = 67Your ships assume transit formation and with a fond farewell, you make the jump back home...
>>19525050We're going to keep it and research the shit out of it once resources are available. We hand over the transpace communicator to Holtz, though.
>>19525077As your fleet exits the world, reality seems to shift and tear, as if not wanting to let you leave."The Transpace Drive seems to be straining against something. Some sort of force must be keeping us anchored to this reality," Data calmly concludes after a few seconds checking the readings from Engineering."It's the SUEs," Cheryl murmurs. "I can feel them... Reflexively, they don't want to go... No... They've... bonded themselves to this place?""We've got to act fast before we end up ripping a hole in space-time," the Avatar states. "If they're bonded... all we have to do is find the bond and cut it."
>>19525143Cheryl, do you have any idea what's binding them here. Data, work the sensors.
>>19525143Welp. Prepare to shutdown the Transpace Drive and return us to Canon-space if the stress gets too bad.Cheryl, Avatar, get with the Farseers, the Gurus, Tosh, and see if you can find the bonds that the SUEs have to here, and cut them.
>>19525143Disengage the Transpace Drive immediately. Then go over the sues with a fine toothed comb (metaphysically)
>>19525143Mr. Data, can we safely abort the transspace jump without frying any of our systems?Get every spare computer system and every psychic probing for reality distortions and any sort of mana-links or whatnot emanating from the SUEs.
We've already severed the links between the SUE's and the goddesses. The only things left would be their entries in the celestial and infernal databases of Yggdrasil and Nidhoggr.
>>19525279Skuld. We need her to delete them from Yggdrasil.
>>19525279Or something could still be exerting and influence on the SUEs from the native canon. Perhaps some villainous figure still has his/her eyes set on exploiting them, and has taken great pains to ensure that they won't leave the system unless they're dead?
rolled 66 = 66>>19525185>>19525207>>19525245>>19525219"Unknown currently. Working on it," Data says, fingers flying over the keyboard he is at."It's..." Cheryl pauses. "They wove themselves into the world to change it. Like Grimm did.""Grimm..." the Avatar murmurs. "I can sense... a cord of befouled mana. Like a torrent feeding from these men back into that world. It's like pulling at fibers... They might be able to be easily cut here.""Uh... guys?" Cheryl asks. "Want us to try?""Twenty seconds and we'll reach damage threshold," Data states.
>>19525143Wuh-oh.Can a Transit jump be stopped? We need to stop that shit.I'm guessing Yggdrasil and Nidhogg have entries about them, and the world systems are resisting letting us just port them out. What I'd like to do is talk to Urd or Skuld, and say "These reality warpers are still present in Yggdrasil's databases. We gotta get these fucks out of there, to fix the database."We'll need to wait for a bit:To get our Rigger and Haxer teams clear. To get Virtun, Skuld, and Urd some rest.Have them reboot the Doublet System first, though. We can at least send out anyone who doesn't give even a tenth of a shit about sleep to start splatting Bugs. That'll make the system somewhat more stable.>>19525304Ahriman pls go
>>19525367Disengage the jump ffs.If that can't be done, Cut the cord.I figure any cord-cutting would be easier done once Virtun is rested and we've got our luck back.
>>19525367"Mr. Data, ANON, can we safely abort the Transpace jump? If so, do it."Vitun, channel some luck if you've got any left for the day, and Cheryl, Avatar, cut the cords."
>>19525367Yes, try it!Also abort the Transspace jump if it will not damage essential systems!
>>19525367You have 15 seconds. Either untie it or cut it. Your choice Cheryl. You know the most about stuff like this.
rolled 70 = 70>>19525395>>19525407>>19525415"Attempting to abort jump," Data says. The Avatar and Cheryl seem to stare at things that are not there for a moment, wisps of arcane powers occasionally flaring around the Avatar as magic pools around him in preparation for something."There!" Cheryl shouts."I see it!" the Avatar responds, as an unseen wave of energy bursts from him...
>>19525472>70I'm hoping that was enough.
>>19525472As Data begins to abort the jump, Cheryl and the Avatar successfully cut whatever invisible force was holding the ship back, and it catapults into transpace. A mere moment later, the fleet arrives safely at HQ."Welcome back, Task Force 38," Colonel Eva greets you as always. "Were you successful?"
>>19525472The suspense! Ahhhh!
"Colonel Eva, could we get a direct line to Holtz first?"Once that is done, ask Holtz if there are any reality distortions being detected from the canon we just warped from
>>19525514"ANON! Run a full security scan on the Containment Bay and on all stasis pods immediately."Dr. Lazarus, take a security team of SCP and Knight Inductors down to the Containment Bay and verify that the prisoners are all still in stasis."Eva, I believe we were. Could you please run another sensor sweep to confirm that the lynchpin we came from has been cleared?"And please open an encrypted channel to Holtz. We've got our report ready for him."
>>19525535"Holtz here. What? No, we just registered the reversion a few seconds ago. That was damn fast, too! Did you kill the SUEs right as you jumped or something? Anyway, give me your report. Last round of requisitions, so hope it's a good one. Sending over the updated region map according to our sensors."
>>19525569That's good. Could we talk to you in private. We have some information for you that you should know about first.
>>19525555"Why me? Can't som- OK, OK, fine!" Lazarus protests as he is pulled away from an experiment to tromp down into Containment. A few moments later, the stasis pods and gem are confirmed to be operating perfectly.
>>19525569"We've actually got a surprise for you. Might want to hear this in person, too. And we picked up some prime Tennessee whiskey while we were there, we'll bring a bottle over."A lot of the stuff we want to tell Holtz, I wouldn't trust even over a secure channel, and only face-to-face.
>>19525595"Sorry, doc, you're actually one of the few people specialized enough to trust with this sort of thing."
>>19525569> Did you kill the SUEs right as you jumped or something?Holtz, we need to talk to you in person about things.[We captured 6 SUEs. Official line is that the Transpace Guard hasn't done anything like that before, but 2 of the SUEs we captured were piss easy freekills. I suspect the guard HAS captured SUEs before, but is covering it up][We got an upgraded reality emitter, but we're keeping that shit secret so black ops doesn't get up our ass][We should also NOT mention another meta-capable faction over unsecured lines, to prevent shit from getting more complicated]official report:We killed the SUEs.We kicked some crossovers back to their homes. We got the fuck out.
>>19525569I'm not going to pretend that I know which region we just smoothed out. So I'm just going to assume that the noted lack of broken/squiggly lines are good, and that the broken/squiggly lines and the amorphous blobs are bad.
>>19525569Are Blops handling the moving brown ball?Holtz. Our cleric might be able to resurrect Ibram Gaunt. Our crew is now far too diverse to consider keeping him, but if we send Gaunt back, would we get more requisitions for that?Is that a Quarantine Zone I see merging with the sector base's canon?Come to think of it, what IS this a canon of, anyway?
>>19525569What are we currently researching, and what topics do we have available for research? Also, the Indefatigable was pretty badly damaged. Got any fixer-uppers here?
>>19525677I think you underestimate Gaunt. He isn't stupid; he probably had most of the Meta figured out by the point we lost him.And that the Knights are willing to work with us, and the Prawns and Farseers, should be enough to push him over to accepting our crew.
>>19525695We were working on RED-generic, Beam-out Stacks, and S2 engine.
>>19525715Well, we can ask him personally if we get the chance to True Rez him. I don't like the looks of that blob converging onto the sector that the base is located in.
>>19525739Neat. How far along are each of those projects?
>>19525740>I don't like the looks of that blob converging onto the sector that the base is located in.That's what the Black Ops Fleet that was here went to intercept.
>>19525599"Well, bring that bottle right up.">Later, when the bottle is brought up...>>19525623"What?! Are you... But that's..." Holtz takes a shot of the whiskey you'd just brought him immediately, wrenching the bottle open with surprisingly swiftness. "Great. Just great. I'd be ecstatic at the news of more SUE captures, but the thought of getting caught up in Guard intrigue AGAIN? Ugh."Holtz shakes his head. "I've got some news of my own. Our lab boys managed to eradicate the SUE from that girl in the tube you brought us. Probably not even close to a cure given all the mucking around we did to accomplish it, but it's a nice start. We're keeping her under observation for the time being.">>19525677"I think so. They didn't say, of course, but that's where they seemed to be headed. Anyway, let me see what I can grab for you..."
>>19525776>Our lab boys managed to eradicate the SUE from that girl in the tube you brought us.Any resemblance to any canon-natives?
>>19525776"Oh yeah, Holtz, you recognize this Meta-Aware Faction's symbol?"Show him the symbol from the captured transpace device and reality emitter."There some operatives from another faction snooping around. We intercepted some of their communications, but we're still working on decrypting them."
>>19525776Uh, also... the Indefatigable was gutted during the mission. We've done some cursory repairs of the systems and managed to save most of the crew, but we're unsure if we need to get a new ship or if repairs can be done here. Can we get an, uh, invoice or estimation on it?Also, did the Looter team we sent out ever come back?
>>19525776Well Holtz, we're quite happy to leave the SUEs with you after appropriate containment actions were taken. We've got Dox on each of them and their combat capabilities. The issue is ... is there any way that my team will get in trouble for bringing these in? I don't want to get sodomised by Black Ops.Also, yes. Another meta-aware faction. We looted a SUPER REALITY EMITTER, we found their symbol, we have one of their Comms devices, and we intercepted (but haven't decoded) some of their transmissions. They seem to like using characters from Fighting or Beat-em-up games.Shit like this is probably 2hot2handle for an editor team, but again, I don't want anyone saying we were involved. Last thing we need is Black Ops up our ass.Anyway, while we're discussing Sodomy Prevention Tactics ... how is our sector looking, in comparison to the other sectors you know of?Are we better off, worse off?
>>19525815>coughhttp://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic/all-spells/s/salvageAn invisible force pulls together the remains of a shipwreck. Bits of hull, tattered sails, broken masts, and smashed figureheads knit themselves back together. Rotten wood turns solid once more, and sails re-weave themselves as the rigging snakes across the masts. It takes a variable amount of time for the ship to rebuild itself, depending on its size.if they can't fix it, Vitun can.
>>19525776"We've nearly lost the Indefatigable, but some of us played Star Trek Online, and we've got an idea. If we can transit to 2409 and Drozana Station, located in the Klingon Neutral Zone, we can probably get her fixed up at a good price, maybe even get some upgrades. The station is run by Ferengi, so as long as our energy credits are good, they won't ask pesky questions about registration numbers."

General vote against spending diamonds on rezzing Gaunt. We tricked him into thinking we're Imperial. We've collected enough people and stuff that it would be impossible to maintain that ruse. We also have plenty of combat people. In fact, we have plenty of everything. We really just need to work on our planning and efficiency.
>>19525901We could at least just get him back to base if Spike kept bullshitting him with excuses, for more requisitions.you like REQUISITIONS don't you?More Troops?More Heroes? For your planning?
>>19525776Also, you know the SUE that was creating the crossover portals with the WH40k-verse? Turns out that he created enough of a ruckus for Ahriman of the Thousand Sons to launch his own personal investigation/expedition, and attempted to subdue the SUEs so he could study them. We stopped him, but Ahriman seemed genuinely rattled about the whole SUE compulsion thing. What's more disturbing, however, is that he outright stated that something as potent and entropic as Chaos can also be subverted by SUEs.
Voting FOR resurrecting Gaunt.MetaOP already mentioned once before that Gaunt had pretty much seen through our cover story and was working because it was in the interests of the Imperium and Mankind, so further ruses would be unnecessary. Also, depending on if we ever need to have multiple squad leaders, it would be helpful to have Gaunt. Finally, it's better to have a tool and never use, than to need a tool but not have it.

Reality stabilized in a large sector too... Hm. OK. Given the numbers to work with, you've got 4 troops choices, 4 vehicle or star-fighter choices, one ship upgrade, and two ship requisitions in addition to this fine little choice."Holtz taps a button and a few ship schematics pop up on holo display around the room."We've made a few deals to net a nice little fleet of ships, but I can only swing one of them. I can get you a Gallente Naval patrol fleet, a few stolen Alliance of Free Planets ships, or a TEC task force."
>>19525901I say at least put him back were he came from, get some requisition out of it, maybe a good spellcaster or some how can take on the divine
>>19525937>Gaunt dead.Nope. Seconding this due to the high level of bullshit of Gaunt being dead.
>>19525965It was our own fault. We were careless.Anyways, we can't rez him till we get more diamonds. We'll worry about it later.
>>19525948Any hero options?Nothing specific in mind.Just wondering if we could take (say) a diplomat or a necromancer or a mind controller or someone whose uncanny intuition could give us hints about things.Maybe someone who specialises in upgrading other heroes?Again, nothing specific.

>>19525998Dammit!Should we use the reroll now? Or save it. We might have just lost the Looter Team and the two Al'Kesh we sent with them.
>>19525994Well I think last thread some one made suggestions
>>19526010No reroll. Our cleric has none, and can't change what happened anyways.Figures we'd get a newbie team.
>>19525948Gallente Navy is from EVE online. From the wiki (http://www.eve-wiki.net/index.php?title=Gallente_ships), it seems that the fleet will consist of ships have tough hulls, versatile attack ranges (long-range blaster turrets and short-range blasters along with long-range railguns), and lots of DROOOOOOONES.Alliance of Free Planets is from Star Wars. Formerly known as the Rebel Alliance.I'm not familiar with the TEC.Holtz, could you describe what exactly these choices mean?
>>19526030No, not Vitun, I mean the reroll we have from the Asgard transporter incident.
>>19525948TEC ships are pretty solid for their tech level, while LOGH ships always seemed fragile to me. Meanwhile, I have no comparison basis for Gallente ships.TEC would be good for me.
>>19526050Oh. Yeah, i suppose we should use that one, then.
>>19526051LotGH is the Free Planets Alliance.Alliance of Free Planets is Star Wars, the interim government between the Rebel Alliance and the New Republic.
Okay, 2 votes FOR rerolling for the Looter Team.Any nay votes?
>>19525998Woops.Holtz, can we get another looter team? I know it counts as both Vessel and Troops.Come to think of it...can we get TWO looter teams? Also, we want a map of the meta. Specifically, worlds that Requisitions' Farming branch used to work at. If Requisitions got nuked, then nobody's working those offices, and there might be loot lying around to grab.Ship upgrades:I'm thinking we could go with a Time Chamber. Something that could let one dude get 8 hours of rest in only 20 minutes.Or let scientists do 24 hours of research in only and hour.As for the other troop choices:Engineers, Scientists. You know, the usual.Might be worth getting more ressers.Anyone up for picking up that WoW team? They can res, and while they're not MUCH use in production and research, they do have some professions.>>19526054I say reroll in favor of the looter team.
>>19525994In an early thread, it was stated that ALL copies of TNO were held by Human Resources because 5 minutes of talking with him were preferable to spending resources brainwashing people. I mean, the dude TALKED someone out of existence. That's some intense debating right there.
>>19526078Time chamber. Yeah. We don't need that.http://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic/all-spells/c/create-demiplane
>>19526080Well we could get a different person who specialises in upgrading heroes. I wasn't being specific, you know.
>>19526070Thirding for another chance for the Looter Team.
>>19526088THE HAAAAAAAAAAAAAX*another monitor*Well, I suppose we could always upgrade our ship with BIGGER MANUFACTURING.
rolled 86 = 86>>19526064I meant Free Planets Alliance. My bad.Rerolling for Looter team.
For people wondering about the TEC ships:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sins_of_a_Solar_Empire#Trader_Emergency_Coalition_.28TEC.29They're from Sins of a Solar Empire.Their ships appear like they use weapons that can be used in a wide variety of Canons, as they don't seem too dependent on super-science like Star Trek ships.
>>19526112>86Oh. Well. That's much better.
>>19526112Must have had a sudden surge of COMMON SENSE.
>>19526064Star Wars ships offer the biggest bang for our buck, along with good shields and decent armour. Plus, we already have a Command Ship (the All Under Heaven) suited to commanding a Star Wars fleet, alongside with a very, very experienced Grand Admiral Gilad Pellaeon to lead it. However, we won't have access to New Republic designed Star Destroyers or other such Capital Ships. Only Mon Cal cruisers and looted Imperators and Victories. Standardization does have its uses. But diversity can also serve our purposes. I cannot speak for the Gallente, but the TEC can do pretty much what Star Wars can do, only a little less well.
>>19526141A cursory glance at their tech from the wiki makes it seem like they're more or less BattleTech WarShips, but with shields/repair drones/warp-drives.
As for Vehicles/Spaceships:I dunno. We have the Antaeus for collecting scrapWe have our Trek ship for replicatingWe can loot stuff from C&C pretty easily as we already have a canon of that in here. Are there any ... like, Time vehicles?Or Super Stealth vehicles?Or goes-through-solid-wall vehicles?Maybe a Vehicle that's actually a swarm of teeny-tiny nanites or microbes?A vehicle that opens portals from point A to point B?A vehicle that is organic in some way?I mean we HAVE Baneblades, and we HAVE Salvage. What else do we need in that area?
>>19526112The Looter team returns, carting with it two Industrial Replicators."It got pretty dicey for a while there, boss, but we pulled through. Here's your loot. What's our next assignment?" the captain reports.>>19526043"I'm still running through the details myself, but the Gallente forces offer a good mix of offense and defense with heavy unmanned support, the FPA ships offer heavy and long range offensive power with not as much speed or defense, and the TEC ships are better suited to take hits.""Sorry, no heroes can be requisitioned. Everyone we can get is already in use."

>>19526218>Looter TeamI suggest we have them next go after some intact Go'auld sarcophagi from the Stargate SG-1 Canon. >>19526218After the specifications, I still want to say TEC because I'm familiar with them and they're tough, but drones are ALWAYS a good idea to spare our (ever so precious) troops and crewmen. >>19526346actually what the fuck am I talking aboutIndustrial replicatorswe already eat rocks and shit victorySo fuck it I dunno.BRING ME A VEHICLE THAT RAISES THE DEAD INTO MY SERVICE.
Well, our current fleet consists of:1 Imperial Super-star Destroyer (Executor-Class), 2 regular Imperial Star Destroyers, 1 (gutted) Starfleet Defiance-class Starfleet Starship. Assuming we can get the Indef repaired without wasting a ship requisition, it seems that our fleet can wreck anything that gets close to it, and take a fair amount of damage. However, it appears that we're a bit lacking in long-range firepower and means to kill agile targets (fighters, etc.).
>>19526384We have an arseton of fighter wings though, don't we?Plus we have the Blackbird and the Great Fox.If anything, what we need is just a small meta vehicle to make trading runs to other canons.
>>19526384Don't overestimate our fleet.Depending on the power of the SUE, our ships could still get their shit wrecked, even with all of their reality emitters set to maximum. When we went up against Sapphirius, our capital ship-grade reality emitters were only just barely able to keep the powers of those SUEs in check.
"Man, wouldn't it be awesome if we had a space vehicle you could fly INDOORS?"

>>19526410Don't forget the Hercules (our Anateus Cruiser) and our squadron of Al'Kesh(es). But yeah, our Ships of the Line are pretty much just 1 Executor SSD , the 2 Imperial-II SDs, 1 Victory-I SD and 1 (gutted) Defiant class. Didn't we have a paste bin or something summarizing our OOB?
The space fighters in this have weight measured in kilotons and probably aren't suitable for Vehicles. But if they are, they've got warp engines, and 20 year penetrating scanners (if JOAT). Plus missiles or minelayers.
>>19526478And you think that they don't have industrial replicators for their own needs? Our sector had 4, not including Sector HQ, and we got 2 of them back online, and we were at the center of the STOB going off. While affected, other sectors were not as badly hit, by Holtz and TSAB accounts.
>>19526509Hey I have a planRing up the meta-commsask if anyone wants trading.Problem solved!
MECHAGODZILLA! WE ARE TAKING MECHAGODZILLA! WE OWE IT TO THE BRO!
Would large beasts count as vehicles?
>>19526538Actually yes.Even if it takes us ALL FOUR vehicle choicesI want the Mechagodzilla.
>>19526538I support the taking of Mecha-godzilla!!
>>19526525We can do just that when MetaOP gets back. And if they don't need anything, or what they need can be easily supplied by the fabricators of the branch offices of this sector, then we will bury your idea and move on to more productive items.
Is this a vehicle?Totally supporting Mecha-godzilla though.
>>19526596When everyone already has fabricators and replicators, more important than trading products is spreading research materials and schematics for people to use in their replicators.Like Aglaophotis-A, for one. It can be whipped up in a regular science lab, no magic required, and is able to banish certain demons and spirits. Very useful for TG sectors that have to oversee horror worlds. And more useful than the actual toxiguns and darts, would be the schematics so that the relevant sectors could manufacture their own supplies instead of relying on shipments from us.
>>19526639If you trade research right, even an item that's only worth 1 battered TIE-fighter could get you 12 TIE-fighters if you spread it around. We've researched Emitter upgrades, that's pretty valuable. >>19526523I'd like to point out we still need to (at least attempt) to update the Hercules design database with other tech bases for its Creation Engine. That way we can replace equipment and vehicles far more easily and focus what little requisition(s) we'll get before the shitstorm on troops and heroes. The Industrial Replicators are very nice, but they'll be severely taxed unless we also have other Universal Constructors dedicated to specialized purposes. As for the small fleet, the Gallente might be best to supplement us.We might be able to gain Gallente tech and design databases. With automation, we'd then be able to build up our fleet with minimal crew requirements. We also need to upgrade the Misaka with shields. As for the 2 Ship choices, I might suggest going either for Battleships for additional firepower or Yardships capable of maintaining/building up our fleet. The Kushan Mothership or (if we can manage it) the Great Harbourship of Bentus would provide the ridiculous technological adaptability and building speeds of the Homeworld Canon to our capabilities, alongside the ability to build Capital and SuperCapital ships. Plus, Bentusi are always awesome and wise, which we sorely need. Other Yardships would provide the building capacity, but would be restricted by the output of the Industrial Replicators and our capacity to retool their machinery. 1 Yardship with another, more battle oriented ship would be best to make sure we don't attract the wrong type of attention. For troop choices, we might want to consider hiring more (book) Mobile Infantry, since we maxed out our Space Marines requisitions. They provide more firepower and mobility. Looter teams are also a good choice. I also support attempting to True Res Colonel-Commissar Gaunt. Heroes are always good for business.
>>19526708Actually, the Mk. II emitter isn't that valuable to anyone that doesn't face Chaos and Warp powers. The Mk. II isn't any more powerful or effective than the Mk. I, it only incorporates a Gellar Field. And again, you're turning this into a business capitalizing on what other sectors don't have, rather than concentrating on fixing the problems at hand. Some other sectors who were as strapped for budget as we were might need to call in our resurrection services, but no one is going to like us for it.In fact, I'd guess that most people will hate us for attempting to profiteer from a crisis, refuse our services on principle (and that they can get their own resurrection squad by setting up their own recruitment team), or both.
>>19526823>Wrong about emitter>Mass unfounded hypotheses and speculation>Doesn't have any ideas for what else we'll be using the Vehicles for>"fixing the problems at hand" apparently doesn't include getting more shit>Doesn't want Gaunt back>Good god how confrontational in toneRaidah, is that you?We missed you! Welcome back, son!
>>19526708>>19526789>>19526791Those points are all valid. However, as a counterpoint I'd like to point out that MechaGodzilla can be used to deter Godzilla attacks AND comes with a free Fake Godzilla disguise.
>>19526883Oh, I know MechaGodzilla is awesome. It's probably the most awesome option available.
>>19526883Welp, can't beat that counterpoint.
>>19526883I'll give you the 4 Vehicle Choices (and whatever other choices might be needed to sacrifice for it) in order to get MechaGodzilla, so long as at least 1 Ship choice is reserved for getting a Yardship. If possible, I'd use both Ship choices to try to get the Great Harbourship of Bentus, but any Yardship will do. We might also consider beginning to shift some of our research/production facilities from the Oncoming Storm to the All Under Heaven. Of course, having a Yardship available for various refits would greatly help our efforts.
>>19526939Yardship mite b cool
>>19526939I'm fine with that, as long as we get MechaGodzilla. Anyone else have a problem with MechaGodzilla and a Yardship? And if it takes less then we expect to get our giant robot buddy, you guys can fight over it or use it to get your named Yardship or whatever.
Well, I think for vehicles I think we should suppliment our artillery. Because if we have to deal with something like the zerg I would prefer to have to option to blast them from a distance.So.... Siege tanks...... Then again if we are going to hunt down the materials Tosh needs we can loot Siege tanks so we don't have to waste requisitions. I still think we should get some more artillery. For the Upgrade, we can use it to install a top of the line sensor relay (like the one the storm has) into AUH. If the Storm gets destroyed we lose the sensor relay, we need to prepare of such a situation. Perhaps we should see if we can get an advanced labs installed by trading in one ship requisition. For troops... perhaps we should get some Krogan from ME1 (before the limited ammo thing was shoehorned in).Their advantages is that they will work for almost anyone and they have redundant organs. The disadvantage is that they are territorial and aren't exactly professional.
>>19526999Lucky for you, MechaGodzilla fits all those roles! And if we somehow manage to recruit Creed, we can give MechaGodzilla the scout ability, and hide him behind small bushes and waist high fences.

Or we can turn them in for upgrades to our existing ships. There's plenty that can be done with those requisitions that doesn't involve turning them into glorified transpace freighters.>"fixing the problems at hand" apparently doesn't include getting more shitWe can get more shit without turning ourselves into a trade hub, especially if we use those ship requisitions for more Looter teams.>Doesn't want Gaunt backI never said I didn't want Gaunt back, and in fact have been voting to get him back. I'm against war profiteering, which is what you're trying to do.>Good god how confrontational in toneBecause you're an annoying person, Bootleg. You always were, and always will be.
>>19526939I'll also accept that plan if our ship upgrade is the industrial grade replicator. The reason I want it is that the main bottle neck in producing our own stuff is a lack of materials. If we get this we will be on our way to building our own fleet of tanks or fighters.
>>19527062We JUST received TWO Class 4 Industrial Replicators. >>19526218>The Looter team returns, carting with it two Industrial Replicators.Unless you mean you want ANOTHER industrial replicator. In which case, you need to be specific about wanting another one.
>>19527062We just gained/looted 2 Industrial Replicators. Installing them can be done on our own time by either our engineers or droids. We should consider carefully what to upgrade.Perhaps a Homeworld PDA would be interesting to gather resources more efficiently.
>>19527096There was the idea long ago of getting Salvage Corvettes as well. But I don't know if I want to try salvaging anything from the Void Engineers or Chaos. That could be more trouble than its worth.
>>19527113Then you understand my point about trying to obtain/recruit Bentus the Great Harbourship?
>>19527130Yeah, but how exactly would we go about salvaging it and making it operational again? And what about the ship's AI? Would it 1. work for the TG and 2. could it even be recovered?
>>19527096I still think we need another sensor array. The storm is the only way we can pick up SUE's and I would like to change that.

>>19527096>>19527077My mistake I apologize. In that case I vote to get a industrial sized transporter.
>>19527257Now, this is important: Do you mean a cargo transporter, or a large number of regular transporters, or Asgard transporters?Cargo Transporters: fast and can move large bulks of material, but can't move living beings (without modifications, which negate the advantages of a cargo transporter).Regular transporters: Can only transport approximately person-sized objects, and will need lots of them, and a lot of energy, to move lots of people quickly.Asgard transporters: fast, able to move large objects the size of skyscrapers farther than Federation transporters, no limit to the number of people. But also the most advanced and most difficult to acquire (if they're not part of a package, like looted Go'auld Al'Kesh post-Anubis).
>>19527338What I want isA teleporter that can lock on through solid objectsBeam a 10 x 10 x 10 meter cube of material from point A to point Band beam the 10 x 10 x 10 meter cube from point B to point AWith the fastest cycle time available, ideally less than 10 minutes.

Hey, guys. Guys.Anyone here familiar with Thomas Riker? If we can modify a Federation Transporter to replicate the effects that created him, we could recruit virtually anyone via Transporter-cloning. Tell Data to look into it.
Oh, good.Someone has finally archived this.Well if we wanted more scientists. We could recruit Salarians scientists from Mass Effect. Those guys don't require as much sleep as humans.

DROOOOOOOOOOOONES!We can remodel the interior of the All Under Heaven into a high-tech superlab/manufacturing area at our leisure. We have Repair Drones that can no doubt be used to shuffle around space in the AUH without compromising structural integrity at all to accomodate these new areas, so that can be dealt with easily enough. Added the bit about the emitters to MechaGodzilla because otherwise we'd have had to gut an Al'Kesh or something for it's Emitter.
>>19528680We should probably get Dr. Cossack and Data on developing/building us some of the more powerful Robot Masters. We already have the blueprints. It's just a matter of someone sitting down and BUILDING them. They'd be awesome for the fights that are sure to come.Guys, we don't need Gaunt. Ressurect him if we need to in order not to fuck up the Canon, but honestly our entourage has utterly outclassed ANYTHING he brings to the table at this point. We should talk with Tosh about when he thinks we should see about getting Starcraft stuff, because that'll give us Siege Tanks and Medivacs and all sorts of neat goodies to help fill out our vehicle needs. We should start putting vehicle and gear/weapon designs into the Creation Engine so we can start making more of the stuff.Last I checked, the Looter Teams came with their own ships so we should be good there. As for what to do next, we should look into what that moving distortion is. Is Yellowman back yet? What info do we have on the area that's left other than "Here There Be Chaos"? Has anyone heard anything from the Dimensional Navy force deployed to fight the Chaos area around there? While we're here and have acces to (I'm guessing here lol) stronger decryption software, let's crack those communications here at the base so we got an idea of what to deal with. Finally, which one of you chucklefucks brought only ONE BOTTLE for Holtz? We got all that whiskey FOR HIM. Give HOLTZ the CASE OF WHISKEY. Bootleg and I figured out the other day that he's some sort of alcohol elemental, because no living thing could consume as much of it as he does and remain alive otherwise. We must feed our boss DELICIOUS BOOZE. It helps him do his job.
While none of the research projects have been completed yet. I believe that we should go into Psi shields as soon as possible. Having a vulnerability to mind control is a horrible weakness. Also I can help the training of specters, getting them acclimated to their new abilities.
>>19528694robot master idea sounds good. See if we could get some other robotics schematics for Cossack to play with.>inb4 REECROOT ZEEROWahahaha no.Although mind you, we could theoretically get him from the Maverick Hunter x canon, seeing as that's going nowhere fast. But there'd not be much point, seeing as he's still a Rookie, unless you could copy and paste his mind from the main canon.>>19528609might be worth looking into. Run a feasibility check past Data.
>>19526441>>19526999That's what our R-Type fighters are for. They already hurt way, way more than a Siege tank can. We're also slated to go looting inside the Zerg Quest canon, by the way. I actually want to suggest using our requisitions points to upgrade some of our hardware, especially the mechs. We could even get more R-Type ships this way.More R-Type is good. We could upgrade Char's ride. We ask to steal one of the many instances of say, the Gundam X Divider. >>Go'auld sarcophagi>>>It can heal all illness and damage done to the body, but can not (according to Jacob Carter/Selmak) repair extensive brain damage. Using it very occasionally produces no ill effects.>> However, when using regularly, especially when unneeded, the psychological side effects can include megalomania and intense notions of superiority
About trading the tech/unique services we have:Since we already have the Creation Engine and 2 Industrial Class replicators, we could see if we can trade our services for blueprints of stuff we don't have, if our clients can spare them (and if ANON doesn't have them stored up already). Or information about other sectors, or particularly successful ways/tactics of dealing with certain enemies. While this could be viewed as war profiteering, it would only take as long as it takes to transfer data, and there's probably little issue with trading away fairly common information for Resurrections/Raising or such. This way, we could probably acquire means of manufacturing vehicles/battlemechs/starfighters for a token price, in exchange for providing services that some less-able TG members may desperately need. It'd be like setting up a donation box/jar, more than anything else.
>>19528848There's nothing wrong with this. And this isn't "war profiteering" either.
>>19528609Goddammit, not this shit again. The accident that produced Thomas Riker has never been replicated, and because of the way that Star Trek transporters function, isn't a feasible means of making copies. A transporter functions by scanning the quantum structure of a person and then moving their atoms through subspace, then reassembling them back together at the destination. You can't duplicate the matter stream mid-transport. It is far more likely to result in the death of the person being beamed up.
>>19528694>Looter Teams came with their own shipsMetaOP specifically said that getting a Requisitions team and ship is a ship AND troop requisition.http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive/19118861#19119016>TG Looter Team in a Thief-class covert ops vessel: Yes, but counts as one ship and one troop choice. We only brought one bottle for now because we needed him still coherent and we can beam the rest of the case to him later.
>>19526791A valid point. Any ships with raw manufacturing capabilities would be a wise choice, and would pay for themselves in short order. The Bentusi/Kushan combat ships are also potent in their own right, and can be used for a variety of roles (including mining asteroids for raw materials).I also agree that the Ship Upgrade should be spent on getting the most advanced sensor array we can spare for the AUH.
>>19527351A 10m x 10m x 10m cube of material is about the volume of a small house. The only thing that could transport that at once is an Asgard transporter.
>>19528680>>19528694>>19528974It agree with most of this list. I do think its time to upgrade AUH so it can serve as the flagship. I think that was one of the plans. I don't think we need any more looter teams. I am not sure how useful Meta Godzilla will be. I don't think we will get a situation like the last time again. Also perhaps we should get some Salarian scientists and more engineers. They shouldn't have that hard of a time acclimatising thanks to Egon's "tell him about the twinkie" ability.
For troop choices, we may want to focus on engineers or researchers so we can build stuff or research tech at a faster rate. Or troops that have extreme versatility and significant power to them, like the Aurors or something. Any troops that can assist in shrouding us from divine presences/magical detection are also a plus. Also, psi-shields may also be a good research choice when we get the chance. Preventing entities from detecting our rather large ships and/or exerting influence on our most essential personnel is always a plus.
Also, we may want to loot PERSONNEL or find ways of bridging that gap with advanced drones. If we play our cards right, we may be able to build a full battalion of battlemechs in short order. But it does us little good if all we have are rookie pilots to throw into them, or no pilots available for them at all. As Tosh suggested before we warped into the AMG canon, those mental reconditioning tanks they use in the Starcraft canon could go a long way to remedying this.
bumping for arguments!
>>19529101Finding regular crew and pilots never seems to have been a problem for Sector HQ; they were able to get the tens of thousands needed to crew the All Under Heaven, Guardian, and Valiance. If we had the time, re-engineering the Jem'Hadar to be genetically loyal to the Transpace Guard might be a viable option, since new soldiers are combat-ready in a 3 days and have full combat and vehicle training built into their DNA. Another option would be Spaarti Cloning Cylinders and Flash Memory Modules, but they still require months to mature, requiring us to acquire a Time Dilation Device, which is just as difficult to acquire. If we could get a few minutes on one, a Buuthandi stellar wormgate replication system would let us create thousands of copies of a single person at a time.Of course, there's the slight problem of the Dyson Sphere being populated by tens of thousands of soldiers all monitoring the replication system, and the one time that we would have to insert ourselves into it to use it, there's a shooting war going on inside the facility, and it's set to be wiped out by a gravitic pulse. The most economical method is probably to use regular personnel and the StarCraft neural resocialization tanks or neural interface mnemo-tutors.An alternative is to equip new vehicles with Soulchip interfaces. That would allow them to be piloted by the Soulchipped crew of the Hercules. For new ships, they could be equipped with holo-emitters throughout the ship to allow for an almost entirely holographic crew.

>>19529682Yay, more arguments.Well I can't really add any more stuff. My only suggestions are to get some Salarian scientists and more engineers. Also upgrade AUH with the sensor array as we have to have a backup if the storm gets destroyed or disabled.
>>19529991>> they were able to get the tens of thousands needed to crew the All Under Heaven, Guardian, and Valiance. The crew is mostly automated, and robots. >>StarCraft neural resocialization tanks We'll get the chance to do this when we loot Zerg Quest.
>>19530020>The crew is mostly automated, and robots. Yes, that is correct. But only 70%. The ships still need 30% crew. That's still 11,125 crew members for a single Imperial II-class Star Destroyer. The All Under Heaven, since it is operating at optimum efficiency with the 70% automation refit, currently has 84,220 crewmen. With the Relentless, which doesn't have the automation refits, the total crew between all four star destroyers is 112,577 personnel.
>>19530078Meta-Earth personnel. Allow me to cite:>>MetaHumanity constantly regenerating its ranks, so no shortage of Agents to guard Metaverse
Any requisition plans to protect ourselves better in the Void Engineer warzone and in Zergquest? Or to protect ourselves better in Thousand Shinji?
>>19530128Exactly. So using regular MetaEarth personnel and neural resocialization tanks and mnemo-tutors is the fastest way to get new crewmen and pilots. That's the point I made in >>19529991>>19530148Besides the obvious 'more guns to get through enemy shields, more replicators to create more drones to fight, more repair vehicles to fix damage before they become critical', more scientists and engineers would help in researching some of the more powerful technologies we need and to manufacture them.We need the Psi-Shield to protect against telepathic attacks and detection. This will be crucial in Zergquest because we need to keep our powerful psychics hidden from the Zerg Overmind.A ship-mounted version of the X-COM Gravity Shield might be useful by simply pushing all projectiles away from us. More Soulchips and more Soulchip-compatible vehicles. Refit packages for power armor and vehicles that gives them deflector shields. We still need to examine the captured reality emitter and compare its power to our current emitters; MetaOP said that the Mk. II is just the Mk. I with a Gellar Field slapped on.
>>19529057>>19530007We're taking MechaGodzilla. And if you translated him to SRW stats, he'd be a boss class. His shield would be a reaction, he'd have health and energy regen, and would be a Super Robot class character.
Also another upgrade to consider would be teleportation interdiction technology. If the psi-shields don't already cover that. This basically saved our asses back in the President Vaderverse, where the SUE forces attempted to teleport an assload of troops onto the Rewriter bombsite. Since they failed, they were forced to run the gauntlet and try to overwhelm our defense force.
>>19530446Teleport interdiction for regular transporter technology is easy enough: Most tech transporters are blocked by shields (which we'd have up during fights anyway). There are also transporter jammers from Star Trek Canon that we could get.The magical anti-teleporation wards are the problem. The teleport interdiction field generator we used in Tokyo blocked both, and would be what we want to get.
Just popping in for a moment.Mecha Godzilla is ONE vehicle/starfighter choice, so you still have 3 more. You can get ONE Yardship as one of your ship choices. You cannot get another Looter team. Getting one was a minor miracle in of itself. You can get up one full MI squad, leaving 3 troop choices. And off I go again.
You know. We could get the RED team that is currently missing the BLU team.Having two sets of respawners would be a good idea.
>>19530621MetaOp, would it be possible for us to gather a small node of Nintendium from one of the universes? Perhaps in the form of used Gameboys and then making them into personal armor for our troops and ships?
>>19530847Aw, you should have let us get some Nintendo-formula plastic, mold it into combat armor, and then see it fail miserably against real weapons because it's still civilian plastic and the entire idea is retarded and stupid.
Would it be possible to get a Hiigaran carrier?
>>19530888Except it doesn't fail against real plastic. Gameboys have been fucking hit with Airstrikes and Napalm and still work. Nintendium is REAL.
>>19531134Is aiming for Bentus the Great Harbourship as a Yardship aiming too high?
>>19525948>I_happen_to_be_an_expert_on_this_topic.jpg>Part 1/2Voting for the Gallente Navy ships, because their armor can take some serious damage while at the same time their Electronic Warfare systems are able to completely lock down an enemy ships sensors, targeting systems, and ability to Warp/Jump out, or even move at all. Every Eve-Online starships Warpspeed is counted in multiple AU's per second, and take just seconds to align and Warp off all but the tankiest of Battleships and Capital ships, making for great hit and run maneuvers, especially against such slow beasts as 40k warships. Also, Eve-Online starship technology would be amazingly effective to introduce into our existing fleet. Take this, for example. http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Damage_Control_II A single module that can reduce all damage done to the hull of a starship by 60%, as well as gives minor bonuses to Shield and Armor resistance. Takes almost no energy at all to use, and I am confident we can modify them to provide Anti-Teleport defense even without active shields. And this is just the tip of the Iceberg. I haven't even gotten into Capsuleer and Cybernetic Implant Technology.
>>19531793>Capsuleer and Cybernetic Implant Technology.Actually, we discussed the Capsuleer technology in-depth when we were weighing different perma-death prevention technologies. We came to the conclusion that the Cortical Stack from Eclipse Phase is the best option for our task force. We're already working on integrating Federation Emergency Transporter technology, Soulcatcher Imminent Death Detection Heuristics, and Cortical Stack technology into a single unit.
>>19531793>part 2/2I think we should send our Looter team to Jita, the biggest Market hub in Eve-online, since you can buy anything there except for prebuilt Capital and Supercapital ships. Looting list is: 6 Damage Control II Units to equip to our existing fleet and to put into the Creation Engine and Star Trek Industrial Fabbers 6 Invulnerability Field II's for the same reason4 Stasis Webifier II's4 Warp Disruptor II'sLarge Plasma/Kinetic/EM/Explosive Smartbomb II, 1 each for blowing up anything that gets too close to our capital ships(Optional)A single Caldary Navy Invulnerability Field(37.5% global shield damage reduction, not cheap) OR Estamel's Modified Invulnerability Field(50% global shield damage reduction, extremely not cheap, we could probably buy and outfit a Thanatos Carrier or three for this) to equip to the AUH(Optional)Capsuleer Technology(Optional)Cybernetic Implant Technology(Optional)Thanatos Carrier and Nyx Supercarrier Blueprint Copy+Drone Fighter and Fighter-Bomber Blueprints. FYI, Figher Bombers kill Capital Ships, and Fighters kill anything else.(Optional)Capital Logistics Module Blueprints. Ship to ship repairs. Shields, Armor and Hull gets repaired in matters of seconds for subcapital ships, minutes for Supercapitals, hours for Starbases.(Optional)Whatever other starship, drone and module Blueprints they can get their hands on in 48 hours.Compared to stealing Industrial Fabbers, this all should be somewhat easy, except for the Estamel's Modified Invulnerability Field, Nyx Supercarrier Blueprint and Capsuleer Technology.
>>19531895Well, I wasn't looking at the Clone technology of Capsuleer technology so much as how much a ship with a Capsuleer pilot increases it's speed, resilience, targetting, power... everything about a ship is 20% to 50% better with a Capsuleer plugged in.
>>19532093Oh, well that's completely different, then.Yes, with Dr. Lazarus and his nanite medical knowledge, and the Soulcatcher neural interface technology, combined with the Clan neural interface technology that the Clan Wolf mechwarriors have, it should be possible to modify the capsuleer technology to be more tolerable to our current pilots, while still providing the boosts in performance. We could perhaps even eliminate most of the problems with the hydrostatic pod by using inertial dampeners and gravitic compensators from Federation and Star Wars fighters. The only problem is choosing a research priority, since there are so many other important projects that we need to devote resources to.
From the Mass Effect Wiki>Salarians are noted for their high-speed metabolism, which allows them to function on just one hour of sleep a day. Their minds and bodies work faster than most sapient races, making them seem restless or hyperactive. The drawback of this active metabolism is a short lifespan of around 40 human years. Well since we are not saying around for 40 years. I think Salarian scientists will be a great addition to the research team. Now I will shut up at let the /tg/ consensus decide.
>>19532029Send them with the "All Under Heaven" and industrial fabricators, fabriacte a shit ton to mining drones, load up the "All Under Heaven" refine low grade metals to expensive high grade ones, sell off. Use money to buy Shipyard and stations plus all tech needed.
>>19532270...okay, that's a possible plan on how to acquire the technology, but that's not the issue. The issue is to adapt the technology so that it works with the fighters we have currently. We may not even need to get sample Capsuleer technology, since much of what we need can be adapted from technology we already have at hand:The mind-machine neural interface technology from the Mechwarriors to provide heightened response times and control, and the inertial dampeners and artificial gravity systems from Star Trek and Star Wars to allow for maneuvers normally impossible for a human body to withstand. And finally, the cortical stack itself allows for recovery of the pilot in case of death. Is there a component of the Capsuleer technology itself that increases ship performance? From what I've read of the Capsule technology, the improved performance is a result of the human pilot being able to respond faster, give commands to their ship directly, and their bodies being able to handle the acceleration stresses better by being safe in a hydrostatic pod.
>>19532367The other benefits are from being able to mentally regulate the ships core systems with extreme ease. Such as the reactors, the energy grid, computer systems, and engines all have a more regulated flow of power, because the Capsuleer can adjust power where it will be more efficiently used. This is just the basic idea behind the Skill system of Eve-Online. For hard Capsuleer bonuses, check out http://eve.wikia.com/wiki/Skills_ListI would suggest looking under the groups Electronics, Engineering, Gunners, Mechanic, Missile Launcher Operation, Navigation, and Spaceship Command. Skills all range from Rank 1 to V.

bumping for arguan about requisitions.
>>19533079what might be a good idea for Mechagodzilla: Pym particles. We'd be able to shrink him to a more manageable size for certain mission, but he'd have the seem strength he did at full size.
>>19533079I thought we were going for a Bentusi Yardship instead of the Carrier?
>>19533079Psi-Shield is a research project, though. Why is it listed under upgrades?
>>19533079We can research the Psi-Shield. However, we cannot research a set of meta-sensors like the Storm has. If the storm is ever disabled or destroyed, it would be nice to have another ship that can carry on with its functions.
>>19533869Well that's what I have been trying to argue from the start.
OP, would a Protoss Arbiter count as a vehicle, or a starship? Also, would an RVF-25 Electronic Warfare variant count as a vehicle or ship choice?
Lets send the looters to go pick up the derelict EVA's from Post NGE. We can repair them, modify them, and power them. Also pick up another lance. Its a cake walk because there's no one left.
OP, would a Puru Swarm be available and would it count for a troop choice?
>>19534973Are the Eva's even salvageable at that point? Aside from maybe Unit 01, they all looked pretty much beyond salvageable condition.Though having a Mass Production Lance of Longinus might speed up our own Mass Production Transpace Lance of Longinus research.
>>19534973Actually, Shinji and Asuka are left.
>>19535062Take them as well. We shall keep them to pilot the Evas, maybe pay them in food, comforts and heavy doses of psychiatric medication and therapist visits.
>>19535027I think unit 2 is pretty beaten and broken but salvageable, 3 and 4 are lost, 1's a hazard. 05 and 06 may be kicking around. Also, N2 mines and such should be some to loot. definaly the lances. The MP EVA's are a hard call. They would be good to grab though, as we may be able to use them as a base for our own series of them.
MetaOP, can we convert one Ship Requisition into a Ship Upgrade Requisition, and use it to get Asgard Transporter Arrays for the All Under Heaven?
>>19535089Unit 02 pretty much got ripped apart and eaten by the MP's; I don't think it's salvageable except as tissue samples.
We can get intact EVAs from SRW games. As for MP EVAs? Nope. However if you do that you might as well loot the remains of the dead MP EVAs and their lances, especially from SRW Alpha 3 and SRW MX (I think). The catch: The MP lances are, depending on canon, may be bigger than Mechagodzilla.
>>19532522Okay, I'm reading through the skills. Are these skills automatically uploaded into the pilot once they're implanted with Capsuleer technology and cyber-implants?Or will pilots need to be trained to be able to make use of these? And speaking of training time, what about the intensive training that is required of Capsuleers for them to adapt to the technology, mentioned in the wiki articles about it? Can that be reliably uploaded into the brains and bodies of our pilots?
>>19535207At the very least, we should be able to take the MP-lances and do science on them as others have suggested. Or melt them down and use them for bullets.
>>19535141No.>>19534991Sorry, nope.>>19534780Arbiter is a ship.
>>19535355Okay then. Now, if we cannot get the Great Harbor Ship of Bentus as our Yardship, can we get any of the other mothership-class Yardships? Can we get a Bentusi Yarsdship? Or is the Hiigaran Carrier the largest we can get?
>>19528609There is a Canon reason why the Transpace Guard doesn't make infinite clones of everyone. While it's never been revealed what this reason is, it exists.>>19528668Salarian Scientists? Could be a good idea.>>19528680Seems mostly viable. We can only pick one of those, I'd go with the teleport since we don't have one of those yet.As for the ship reqs: Nooo! The construction ship, at the very least, is a good idea.>>19528825More R-type is indeed good.More hardware might be good - what ships have schematics that might be of use to us?>>19530722If we're getting respawners, we should get some from a different canon. The Tribes folks are complete jackasses but they do have useful tech for us to steal.
>>19535355Could we double up on Solarian scientists and engineers? One troop requisition for scientists, and another for engineers? It always seems that while we're on an X-COM research timescale, the urgency of getting this sector fixed means that we don't even have that time to get research done. And the same goes for engineers and our engineering projects.
>>19535355B-but, why can't we have our own Puru Swarm? They're adorable, we can use them as cheerleaders and they're good MS pilots with newtype abilities.
If we were to convert all research resources to Psi-shields, aproximately, how many days would it take to finish?
Here's my take on what to grab:Freebie:>GallenteDroooones.wmv4 troops:>Salarian Scientists>Battletech Engineers>Tribes crew [if they are respawners]>MIs [if the tribes crew are not respawners]>WoW teamMostly interested in getting new tech, new abilities, and versatility over raw punch.4 vehicles:>Mecha-godzilla>More R-types>Some of those salvage things from Homeworld>Trained PilotsYes, pilots. We'll be able to manufacture Mechs soon enough, and the human element will be our bottleneck.1 Ship upgrade:>TeleportersI saw how hax those were when used properly. If those, then:>More Manufacturing for the AUH2 Ships:>That Homeworld manufacturing platform seems like a good idea>Lemme whip up some bullshit, brb
>>19535778>Trained PilotsI wanted Trained Pilots, but Op said we can't have a Puru Swarm.
>>19535703Need S2 Engine since we're probably nearly done with it.Need RED-generic.Also, for Zerg quest, there's a perfectly viable and perfectly Meta way to get them out of our shit. We pop over to the Zerg quest thread, and say "Hey let's not mess with these guys' shit". Problem fixed.
>>19535794There are other pilots than your little chinese waifu girls.
>>19535807Sure, but they're damn good ones. I mean, they come pre-trained, they pretty damn good pilots, they're mass produced and they're damn strong newtypes. Each of them controlled 30 Funnels per MP Qubeley during the battles they were sortied in.
>>19535795If we're going into the Zerg Quest canon, we're likely not going to be going to the most recent version. We'd likely try to insert ourselves at the point where it still follows the Starcraft timeline; we're there to hijack Command Centers, Barracks, SCVs, and the necessary items for making Spectres. The resoc. tanks are mental reprogramming machinery that we can reconfigure to cut out the social programming and emphasize on the technical skill imparting stuff. To get the Jorium/Terrazine gas deposits, though, we may have to fight off a considerable amount of Protoss to do so. Though they're not as advanced as Starfleet, their technology is nothing to sneeze at.
On the subject of the Homeworld vessels, are we going for a carrier, shipyard or a Mothership-class vessel?(I'd ask about the possibilty of getting our hands on Sajuuk, but considering the Harbour Ship is a no-go, the same applies here. What would it take to get our hand on either, OP?)
>>19536004Whichever one can be modified to act like a manufacturing center for starships. I'm not quite familiar with the Homeworld canon, so I'm assuming that's the Mothership.

>>19535230The skillbook is automatically uploaded into the pilots mind, but he needs to subconsciously "think" of the knowledge in it, which could take anywhere from 34 seconds for the first rank of a skill, to the final rank sometimes taking a full month to attain. Trying to do this with existing staff would be slow compared to just recruiting a single year-trained Capsuleer for each ship. An alternative would be to use learning technology from The Matrix to make the training almost instantaneous. If I were to translate it into rolling a 1d100, I would estimate that a day trained Capsuleer would give a +5 bonus to basic things, a month would give a +15 to things the Capsuleer specialized in and either +10 or +5 everything else, and one that was training for more than a year would give a +30 to everything. I wouldn't imagine recruiting one would be any more difficult than recruiting a shadowrunner team, since plenty of Capsuleers are only in it for the money and the thrill. And there are over 400,000 active ones as of three months ago, and likely close to a million inactive ones.As for the implants, most only give Bonuses to things like Int/Wis/Cha/Perception/Memory, which reduces the amount of time a Capsuleer needs to "think" about a skill to increase his rank, but some of the more expensive ones will do that as well as give bonuses to a pilots ability to regulate shielding/ship velocity/armor integrity/etc. I was thinking we could have the Looting team grab a few of the +4 Int Implants and plug them into our Abjurers for the various bonuses that more Int can give a Wizard.
>>19536189>The skillbook is automatically uploaded into the pilots mind, but he needs to subconsciously "think" of the knowledge in itAh, thanks. That's useful. However, it's important that we adapt the technology to work with our current pilots and fighter craft, because some of them have abilities which make them more useful than the Eve Online ships (being able to operate in atmosphere, for one).Sure, having Capsuleer pilots for new fighters with the technology installed is good, but we also need to upgrade our current forces too.>plug them into our Abjurers for the various bonuses that more Int can give a Wizard. We'd have to check with MetaOP, and probably do some testing to see if that's okay. I know we can't do it with the Shadowrunner mages and shamans, because cybernetics messes with their magic.
>>19535834And they have enough extra, artificial internal organs in their bodies that they're closer to being little sisters of spehs muhreens.
>>19536119It's a toss-up between the Mothership and Shipyard classes, really. While they're both large starship manufactories, Motherships have utility beyond 'BUILDAN THINGS' but you can't get the biggest guns without a Shipyard. If it weren't for the fact that Shipyards are hyperspaced into the field rather than built on-site by the mothership the choice would be simple, otherwise it's a question of whether we want a more maneuverable mobile base (Mothership, assuming it has a Hyperspace core) or a facility that can build battlecruisers (heaviest guns available to the fleet) on top of everything else in the Hiigaran arsenal.Another thing we'll want to consider is Modules for whatever we pick- MetaOP, will whatever we choose already be decked out with full facilities or are we going to have to build those ourselves?
>>19536469I have the feeling that we may be plunged into a SRW canon very soon. I can think of a handful of people who would NOT be appreciative of a Puru swarm.
>>19536123We already have the R-9S Strike Bombers, which is already a step or two shy of the Ragnarok. Arrowhead isn't as good compared to them. I suggest something else, like the Grace Note. Here, take a look from this list, and don't pick the Bydo-types.http://rtype.wikia.com/wiki/Category:Ships_in_the_R-Type_Series
>>19536845Suggestions:Peace Maker/Tropical AngelShooting Star/Grace NoteHappy Days
>>19536915What about the R-13A2 Hades, with its homing Wave Cannon?
Well, until we hear back from MetaOP about our Homeworld Yardship options, let's table the 'Ship Requisition' discussion for now.Don't want to ask for one thing, when we could have gotten something better, after all. Also, MetaOP, how close to leveling up are the Mobile Infantry? At least the corporal that took down the Great Shoggoth back in Ebon Night's Horrorworld with a mini-nuke?We've had them since the beginning, and I think they've proven their worth time and again.
>>19537016Depends how many we can get. We should also consider trying to get cheap stuff, or stuff that won't blow our budget but would be useful. We should also spend downtime fabricating/replicating stuff like gas grenades so we don't have to use time during the mission for making them; just pull out already the ones made and use 'em.
>>19537097They're veterans, which implies they levelled up.
>>19537282I meant, how close is the corporal to becoming a Hero unit.
>>19537299I think we don't get Hero units unless we roll a 100.This is why Star-Lord and Data haven't levelled up, despite the work they've done.
>>19537334OP mentioned in a previous thread (I think it was the one where we talked with the Avatar) that Star-Lord needs more XP since he's already a superhero. Data was on the verge of levelling up on the Dystopia lynchpin. When all of this requisition stuff gets ironed out, perhaps we'll get some word from the successful completion of this lynchpin.I still kinda wonder about the paths untraveled in that lynchpin, though. Like how things would have turned out if we did the usual "kill stuff" with the SUEs, or if we decided to have Ahriman take the SUEs when the goddesses arrived.
>>19536316I was actually wondering if we could put Capsuleers in our existing ships, as a sort of "Upgrade" that gave those bonuses, rather than getting new ships. As well as the Damage Control Units and Shield Invulnerability Field modules. Those alone would drastically increase our ships survivability when we end up fighting Void Engineers and Chaos starships.
>>19537664We could, but I think a better plan overall is to recruit some Capsuleers, get their memory engrams of their Capsule training, upgrade our current fighters with neural interface technology and inertia dampeners, and then implant all current fighter pilots with the Capsuleer technology and have them take a few sessions in the resocialization tanks to have all of the training uploaded into their brains.
>>19537879Well, that could work too, but I was more referring to our six Capital ships. Even the All Under Heaven isn't bigger than a Eve-Online Titan. Slightly longer, but in terms of actual ships mass, they are roughly the same.
>>19538126I think it would be better to get actual AI's, like ANON, with tactical upgrades for that. They can react faster than a human could hope to, and multi-task better. If it's about optimizing ship operations and energy flow, there's few better.
>>19538162I don't entirely trust putting AI's in control over our Capital ships, especially Meta-Approved ones that a Black Ops Officer could commandeer from us, but you have a good point.
>>19538295Well, the extensive refitting of installing Capsuleer technology into a capital ship would take weeks to do at the fastest. And the AI doesn't have to be a TG-brewed original. We could brew one up using off-the-shelf components from the Schlock Mercenary Canon. Not that expensive, either.
When you said "Yardship" I immediately jumped to this: http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Newgrange.If you want something Homeworld, I think the best you could do is a Hiigaran Shipyard. All the Motherships are somewhat too big to go missing. Alternatively you could get a Carrier with some Salvage Corvettes (4) included.
>>19538534My basic idea is exactly along the lines of a Newgrange, Unfortunately for the Newgrange, it doesn't have the building speed or adaptability we need to service our heteroclite fleet, so Homeworld Shipyards are probably best. It's unfortunate that we won't be able to get a Mothership or a Bentusi ship, but a Hiigaran Shipyard should serve us well.
>>19538534Well, a Hiigaran Shipyard can construct a Carrier for us, as well as Salvage Corvettes, so I think the Shipyard is the way to go.
>>19538534Are you sure we can't get an intact Tausennigan Ob'enn Thunderhead-class superfortress?I have the plans for the Requisitions Team and their insertion method and everything.
>>19539061Damn. Anyway, will we get to see Cheryl's Day Off next time?
>>19539061MetaOP, if we were to ask for blueprints to various vehicles and such, would that count towards our requisition limit? Or would we have to trade some other stuff for them instead? Also, about the last lynchpin. In terms of plot direction, were there any drastically alternate ways that could have turned out even if we succeeded in stabilizing that canon as a whole?
>>19539061Booted up a copy of an old game I had, I'm designing a ship in it that might be of use to us.
>>19539179Here. It's a cloakship with a scanner. Most of this game's tech is utter arse compared to what we have, but its scanners and cloaks are useful. The ship's warp-capable for 0 fuel (though it moves like a very slow cow)It's got some armor - the armor has stealth properties, which might be worth looking into. It's got a Scanner that can penetrate planets from 45 Light-years away, see the population, mineral counts on the surface, and what starships are orbitting it. Ship weights 319,000 tons (Enterprise-D, for comparison, weighs 4,500,000 tons)The main part of the ship, and the main H4X from this canon, is the stealth. This ship grants stealth not only to itself, but also to anything in the same fleet as it.This particular ship can cloak about 1,000,000 tons of stuff at 98% cloaking.98% cloaking means "You can only see the stuff from 2% as far as you normally could".It's an early-midgame ship. There's better stuff available later but I figured I'd go with one of the earlier ships since it'll do.
>>19539975Downsides:It can't cloak heavy shit worth a crap. It's actually pretty fragile.Upsides:It cloaks light shit REALLY well. It's got a scanner.
>>19539975For instance, here's a ship from the midgame. This scanner works from 142 Light-years out, detects surface minerals / mineral deposits / population / fleets in orbit. It lets steal the cargo from planets you are orbiting, and fleets that are in the same system as you. [I think it uses teleporters, but this isn't established in fluff, the game just says "stolen" without specifying a means]Cloaks 2,200,000 tons to 98%Still moves like a cow, only less so.Still kind of flimsy, only less so.Best of all you'd find a ship like this in an actual game, in a fleet with some Heavy Freighters and some cheap-as-fuck light ships to absorb enemy fire you to steal the enemy's stuff. [In game it'd probably have the radioactive engine that kills colonists near it, so I went with the previous one]
>>19540385Roughly same era of the game (midgame):Here's a ship with the Battleship chassiscloaks 4,350,000 tons of stuff to 98%.If you're wondering why those weapons look like cruise missiles, it's because they ARE cruise missiles. Fortunately, the weapons bay is modular and you can put 20 phaser banks in there instead.
>>19540515If you were planning on using the ship upgrade on a scanner, get this ship instead.Enjoy the scanner that penetrates from 120l.y. out, and lets you jack enemy fleets and planets' cargo. And enjoy 98% cloaking on over 3 million tons of stuff. [The other 1.35 mil is the ship cloaking itself]And ... I dunno. You can ignore the shitty missiles if you really want to.
>>19539975Is that game "STARS!"? It looks oddly familiar but I can't place it.
>>19540643Okay, but can it detect and tracks reality distortions and the status of the fabric of reality? If it can't do Meta-scans, then it can't replace the Advanced Sensor Suite.
For a Troop Requisition, how about a squad of YVH battle droids?http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/YVH_1Though they were originally designed to fight the Yuuzhan Vong, their combat capaibilities allow them to fight well against most other threats. With Incursion holo-emitters, YVH droids would make very good infiltration and scouting resources, as well as support firepower for other teams. Also, MetaOP, we've had scenes with our organic operatives, what about some scenes with our mechanized troops?Like a poker game in the hangars between A.N.O.N., VP-99, a Securitron, HK-50, Pharoah Man, Skull Man, and Data.
First off BUMP because I want like three days with this thread.Second, Get the Hiigaran shipyard. Better then the carrier cause it can make capital ships to escort the carrier it will build.Third. Vehicular requisition, we have the following three at the fore front.Vehicles:Mecha-Godzilla with Reality Emitter Mk. IIR-9 Arrowhead with Forces [Daedalus is fine too]Gaia Gear Gundam (upgrade for Char)I'd suggest we get some precision strike artillery. Four. infantry,We seem to agree on Salarian scientists, but I think STG Salarians would be better then engineers.Fifth, task force,Gotta go with Gallente, more versatile with the modular B.S. found in EVE.
Yay bumpies. :P>>19544640Everyone is dead set on getting MechaGodzilla. I can't really argue with that. Although we do have to be careful when using him. Vaderworld was inhabited by morons who tried to attack him in close combat. Any future deployments of him would need to include support as smart enemies would just bombard him from a distance.
>>19544640>>R-9 Arrowhead with Forces [Daedalus is fine too]>>ForcesWe already are able to get upgraded models, why go with the basic? Be careful of your Force Pod choices; One wrong move and the pod will transform into a Bydo.
>>19545066I assumed that with the basic model, we could get more of them, than if we went for a more advanced model, which we might only get one of.
>>19531793I'm also agreeing with the Gallente option. Flexibility is good, and it also means that an attack that targets part of the fleet may be more easily resisted by some units than others due to their disparities in origin.
>>19545357We have a whole squad of R-9S already. No problem. And the only acceptable force pod is the Shadow Force.
OK, let's make this a bit easier for you folks.Holtz approves the following:Ship Choice: Hiigaran Shipyard.Vehicle Choice: Mecha-GodzillaStarfighter Choice: R-9A Arrowhead with Shadow Force. Full squadron of 12.Infantry Choice: Salarian Field Science Team. (24/24)Infantry Choice: Mobile Infantry Squad (12/12)Gallente Task Force. You CAN get that Char upgrade if you want it, but the consensus doesn't seem to be as clear with the rest, so that leaves...1 Ship Upgrade (still seeing some disagreement here.)1 Ship choice2 Infantry choices2 Vehicle/Starfighter choices.
>>19546417Ship Upgrade:Advanced Sensor Suite for the All Under Heaven.Ship Choice:Ship Upgrade: AI with Tactical and Engineering upgrades for the All Under Heaven (to increase weapon accuracy and engine and shield efficiency)ORFreed Borg SphereInfantry Choice:Salarian Field Engineer TeamYVH Combat Droid SquadVehicle/Starfighter Choices:Char Upgrade (Gaia Gear)More Prawns with exo-suits.
Well considering this thrend is just dragging along. I suppose we need to compose a final list soon.I do support getting the looter team to salvage the MP lances.
>>19546498This is fine with me.
>>19546498I also agree
I'd really like the Borg Sphere for their adaptability, but the AI for the All Under Heaven could boost its performance and accuracy by a lot. Transporters are important, but with the Industrial Replicators we should be able to make and install our own transporters.
>>19546561Seconded: Salvage MP lances and MP EVA remains from an SRW canon. Also, specialized R-Type models > general models at this point. Sniping the fuck out of everything before they come into any of our ships' firing ranges is awesomesauce. Or any other specialized R-Type.
>>19547206Wouldnt a post-Third Impact End of Eva Canon be safer to get the Lances from?
>>19546498I was thinking that instead of looting Eva, we could have the looters go to Mass Effect. If they jump around, they can pick up Mordin Solus rather easy (teleport him out before building explodes) and pick up some omni-tools and hardsuits. From the DESTROY ending, we could also pick up Shepard, the crew of the Normandy II, and a large number of Scientist and Engineers out of a job due to no technology. For Shepard, they'd beam him out, and beam a bomb in next to the destroy option along with a fake body to be found. Leave the canon long enough for the Red Wave of Plot to wipe out all the tech, and then come back to loot everything else. They can also pick up a bunch of Ezo for our manufacturing purposes.
>>19546498I'd like the Freed Borg above the other upgrades. Also, for an R-Type what about an R-13A Cerberus?
>>19544990We could always see if we can kit him out with (C)ER-PPCs, ion cannons, Railguns or phaser banks. Seconding the upgrade for the Advanced Meta-sensory array for the AUH.Also, OP, what's the status on the Indef? Can we get it repaired without burning a ship requisition point? Those industrial replicators we just looted could go a long way to expediting the repair process.
>>19547989We can fix it with magic. It'll just take about 3 or 4 days to do it.http://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic/all-spells/s/salvage
>>19548020That seems like it's going way too far.Like a sailing ship is, when you get down to it, wood and rope and cloth. And nails I guess. To compare it to a very sophisticated spacecraft seems all kinds of absurd.
>>19548306The spell magically repairs ships. The more complicated the ship, the longer it takes. All of the stuff is there, the magic just has to put it back to the way it was before it was damaged or destroyed. That's why as opposed to hours for a galleon, this will take DAYS.
MetaOP, if you could answer this before the thread 404s: can Sector HQ repair the Inde in a reasonable amount of time, can we do it ourselves with our new manufacturing ability, or will you let us off these rails so we can go to the Star Trek Online Canon and get the Indefatigable fixed quickly at Drozana Station?
>>19546417>1 Ship Upgrade (still seeing some disagreement here.)Gonna go with Engineering or Manufacturing for the AUH.>1 Ship choiceBorg Sphere seems good.>2 Infantry choices1 * Engineers from somewhere1 * Someone that can cast resurrections>2 Vehicle/Starfighter choices1 * Prawns seems like a good option.Dunno what to get for the last option.
>>19548821>>19548821We can probably use the industrial replicators as a manufacturing thing. Or use the Hiigaran Shipyard for those purposes, since it's essentially a massive construction ship that's capable of building capital ships.Although the engineering bay would be handy, if something happens to the Storm and we can't detect reality distortions or the like, we're going to be in a whole lotta trouble.
>>19546498Let's go for the Freed Borg Sphere. The AI upgrade we can always get later, and we have the manufacturing resources to be able to implement it at Sector HQ if we need to. But the Freed Borg would give us an incredible amount of adaptability. Maybe upgun it to a Tactical Cube if we can.
>>19548959Oh, right. Makes sense. changing opinion to:>1 Ship Upgrade (still seeing some disagreement here.)Sensors seem good for the AUH. That way we can have the AUH and the Storm run two different missions at once.>1 Ship choiceBorg Sphere seems good.If that's not available, then can we trade this in for Manufacturing for the AUH?If not, I'd go with anything with powerful teleporters.>2 Infantry choices1 * Engineers seems good. Could go with some C&C ones for potential utility with building and downed mech capture.1 * Ressers seems good. I really don't want the WoW team but the only other "Mook that resses mooks" is probably unwilling to work for us (pic).>2 Vehicle/Starfighter choices1 * Prawns seems useful. That upgrade for Char seems pretty powerful, too.
>>19549229If we going with a group of Rezzers, we should get those Warcraft 3 paladins. Far better than the WoW team.
>>19549290Do they count as heroes, or just regular units? They're heroes in-game in WC3, and in WC2 they can't res.
Well, this thread is going to be 404ed really quick. We pretty much got it hammered out, so we probably don't need a new one.
>>19549526Updated list after recent votes:Ship Upgrade:Advanced Sensor Suite for the All Under Heaven.Ship Choice (Will depend on our ability to repair the Indefatigable):First Choice: Freed Borg CubeSecond Choice: Freed Borg SphereThird Choice: Ship Upgrade: AI with Tactical and Engineering upgrades for the All Under Heaven (to increase weapon accuracy and engine and shield efficiency)Infantry Choice:Salarian Field Engineer TeamYVH Combat Droid Squad OR WarCraft 3 Paladins (WC3 Paladins may be Heroes and not applicable)Vehicle/Starfighter Choices:Char Upgrade (Gaia Gear)More Prawns with exo-suits.
