You hear the scream and immediately scramble for cover, as do the dozens of men around you.Fall has come and gone, a warm November giving way to a harsh and unforgiving December. The cold doesn't bother you that much, not with your race's genetics. What bothers you is watching as others, some you've known for a year or more, either starve or freeze to death. You find them in the mornings, mostly. Lightless eyes, stiff corpses. You can't even leave the trench to give them a proper burial. Not with the machine guns and artillery.Shells explode brilliantly above you, now huddled in the cavern cut out beneath the earth. It took you and the other men a few days to dig it out to its current size, but now you at least have somewhere to sleep, not that you get many chances.
Aw shit, PTSD flashback
>>19211609Oh boy we flashbacks now.
Whelp we can relive this here war.
The inside of the dirt room is silent as the artillery thumps out its rhythmic beat, one you've grown quite familiar with. Two drum players, the enemy's and your own, each keeping pace with the other."GAS GAS GAS!!!" Someone howls down the line, and without a second thought, everyone goes for their mask.Funny thing about gas masks that for the most part predate the event, some even fifty years old by now... They don't tend to work that well, especially without enough replacement filters to go around.Yours is no different, older than you by far, still using the filters you'd been given nine months ago. Filters that had already weathered dozens of chemical attacks. As though an actor in some macabre play, the noxious blue haze arrives on cue. You watch it begin to fill the chamber, slowly, seeping in from the outside through the cracks in the door. Some men sob, knowing their own masks will do little, remembering the effects of having been gassed before. You stay quiet, clutching the rifle in your hands and closing your eyes as you lean your head against its steel cocking tube.Rifles you understand. You're good with a rifle, you've killed your enemies with a rifle. But this gas? You don't understand this gas, it just doesn't make sense. Ammo fuels a rifle, a rifle kills men. This gas doesn't kill men, it just brings suffering.Everyone in the room jumps, some letting out a cry of surprise, as a single gunshot echoes out, you feel the blast on your skin. It isn't the first time. Some men... Well... It would be a lot less painful than what you're about to endure. You can't stop breathing, as much as you would like to. You can just sit and hope the barrage lets up soon.A familiar sensation, like something slowly entwining around your chest, starting to strangle you.
Slowly, methodically tightening, making it more and more difficult to breathe. The terrible scales of the blue gas against your bare skin.Scales?Your eyes open suddenly, leaving the gruesome war in your memories and dreams, where it belongs. The trenches and gas and feelings of hopelessness now gone, replaced by something quite different.A scaly, turquoise tail, wrapped snugly around you from knee to shoulder."Karin?" You manage, craning your neck to try to see her face, unable to move much beyond that.Instead of a response, one of the cobras in her hair lifts slightly to stare you in the eyes with its blank, black beady ones. Quite un-snakelike, it lets out a silent yawn before resting back down. The tail tightens ever so slightly."Oi! Karin! Wake up!" You thrash, until realizing that is only causing her tail to tighten even further. It is certainly snug now, but it hasn't reached the point of actually strangling you yet. YET. You don't know much about her Echidna form, as she tends to hide away from the world, and you, whenever it happens.[ ] Shout for help before she crushes you[ ] Try to free your arms and pull yourself out, or her off you[ ] Get frosty[ ] Lie still and wait for her to wake up
>>19211799[^] Lie still and wait for her to wake upFuck it. Go back to sleep. Isn't the worst way to go.

>>19211799Get frosty, we may be able to slip out.
>>19211799Lie still and wait
>>19211824Are Echidnas cold blooded? Get frosty, then get out
Funny thing about being at least half Frost, you can do some crazy shit with temperature.Well, you can make things pretty damn cold when you get frosty. Heating things up, not so much. But chilling you can do.Both hair-cobras are awake now, stirring about as they watch you, both hissing quietly as their hoods extend. You've started off slow, cooling down the air around you methodically. You don't want to freeze her, you just want her to wake up."Hnnn?" Karin stirs, but doesn't wake."Oh for fucks sake..." You dial down your magical thermostat, which garners a near-immediate result."Hah?!" The Echidna girl yells in a startled panic as her tail quickly unwinds from around you and she tumbles off of the bed upper-body first. A shame the room is so dim, otherwise you might have seen something good."I wasn't sure if you liked coffee or tea so I just got you some ice and figured that would wake you up. Also I wasn't sure if you were actually going to strangle me or not, but as intrigued as I am, I didn't want to find out.""Eh?" Karin blinks, before looking down at herself, "Ehhh?!?!" She exclaims simply, before quickly slithering into her walk-in closet and closing the oak door behind her, loudly."Oh come on! It's not the end of the world!" You call after her, sliding off of the bed and plodding across the floor until you rap on the door."Why does this happen to meee?" You hear her whine, along with the sounds of clothes being rustled about on hangers."That is honestly low on my list of concerns right now. Toss on some clothes, sunshine, we need to make today count."
>>19211979"Honestly, I think you're pretty damn sexy when you got scales"
"Easy for you to say. You're lucky, the only thing that changes on you is your hair. Do you have any idea how hard it is to wake up in a completely different body? I have to keep a whole separate wardrobe, I'm not good with this tail, underwear is... It isn't right." Karin continues to complain as you search around and find your clothes from the night before."Yeah yeah, I feel so sorry for you. Your crippling genetic trait is a rocking snake body instead of a fatal disease."The door of the closet opens slightly and you see Karin peek out."I'm sorry, you're right.""I'm teasing you, scales, now lets get moving and pray that your parents are either still asleep or out somewhere. Otherwise things could get pretty damn awkward around here." You try to see into the dim interior of the closet, trying to make it appear as though you aren't looking as you pull on your shirt."They are probably out, but I'm sure at least dad saw your bike. Also quit trying to peek, you fiend. I'd rather not be seen like this at all, let alone uncovered." She closes the door once again, and you sigh as you take a seat on the bed.
Minutes tick by with just sounds from the closet, and you begin to ponder just how many clothes she's gone through and rejected. A case of bizarre amnesia, most men almost always forget just how long it takes for a girl to get ready to go anywhere. You contemplate going to sleep or slinking downstairs to scrounge for food, until the door of the closet finally opens and Karin emerges. As different as her Echidna body is, so too her wardrobe appears to be. A quite uncharacteristic red skirt and rather dressy white shirt, not the kind of girl-next-door tomboyish look she's usually rocking."Very cute, and the snake body isn't bad like you seem to think. Now lets move, even if your parents know I'm here, I'd rather not get caught in your room."[ ] "Lets go talk to Rick about the Frost ruins, see if he found anything."[ ] "I've got to go help my dad get ready to investigate the carrier he located."[ ] "Get your plane ready, lets just go find those ruins."

With that we could get some kind of plan going to make it a quick in-and-out type of job (not that I believe this for sec). Thus getting back to Rick for info about Frosty Ruins.

>>19212080[X] "I've got to go help my dad get ready to investigate the carrier he located."But going back to Rick is next on our list of things to do.
"Anyways, lets go talk to Rick, see if he found out anything about those Frost ruins. My dad should be fine loading up his plane on his own for now, not like I'd ever helped in the mornings much before at least." You shrug and start toward Karin's bedroom door."We have to fly out there again? Can't you just raise him on the radio?" She tries to keep her voice calm and composed, but you can detect the slight edge of disdain for your jetbike."Yeah sure we could spend an hour trying to flip through any of the possible channels he could be on. Not that he would answer even if we did. The only time he ever uses the damn thing is when he gets trashed and wants to talk fishing at four am." You open the door gently and peer down the hallway, listening intently. After pausing for a moment and neither seeing nor hearing either of her parents, you continue out of the room."I really do need to get around to seeing about reactivating some of the leftover cellular towers..." Karin sighs as she snakes along after you."Dad says the world is better off without them.""Yeah, some of the older folks say the same thing. Still though, having the kind of communications capabilities that those devices seem to have had would certainly make life a lot more efficient.""And a lot more annoying, I'd think." You shake your head as you make your way down the creaky wooden stairs, glancing back to watch as Karin comes down after you. She has to use her tail in some kind of crazy coiled motion to navigate them, and she keeps the end of it firmly wrapped around the bannister as she descends. Not exactly a speedy process."Quit staring, it's embarrassing enough to do this without seeing that smirk on your face." She glares, and you turn around again.
>>19212244Have we made any going commando jokes? We are going against some rebel Gorilla's in the near future. There has to be a joke there.
Out into the fresh morning once again for the second day in a row, dew still covering the grass as the sun slowly begins to creep above the horizon. You must be going insane to be waking up so early like this, for how different it is from your norm.Karin had made you a quick bagel when you'd inquired about breakfast, along with some toast for herself. Toast hanging out of her mouth as she follows you along the path to the airfield."Kheep whalking..." She frowns through the toast as she notices you glancing back with an amused grin.Thankfully Jimbo and Amber appear to have left earlier, taking one of the trucks and going off to the market most likely. You know they know, but that doesn't mean you don't want to avoid the inevitable conversation for as long as Frostilly possible. The jetbike is still right where you parked it, its imposing looks still apparent even when damp from the morning. Shame it hadn't rained, it could use a bit of a wash. After helping Karin on-board (which turned out to be quite the amusing process considering her tail), you swing up yourself and start fiddling with the controls to get the engine started. Karin has had to wrap herself around the back of the bike, having enough leftover tail to still curl the end around your waist.A minute later and you've got the craft a good hundred feet above the treeline and on course toward the town yet again. Karin has grabbed you around the middle like last night, only now there are two cobras from her hair slithering around your neck. You really hope they don't bite like your hair did...
Aside from watching her hair like a harpy, backing away when you thought they were getting a bit TOO close, the ride is a dull one. You don't go as fast as you'd like, for Karin's sake, which only adds to your boredom. What you wouldn't give to run into a flock of gargoyles to rile up...Setting the jetbike down into Rick's yard nearly the same as you had the night prior, you kill the engine as soon as the wheels touch down."Awake this early, Erik? I'm beginning to think that perhaps you are just an imposter, I've heard about doppelgangers and such, you know." The centipede chuckles as he stands in the doorway of his shop, "What did your dad think of that packet? Decent stuff, yeah?""I uhh... I haven't gotten around to showing him, yet." You admit with a small shrug and chuckle."No? Came back to see if I had anything on those Frost ruins, I suppose? Well I did find what I could, which wasn't all that much. As far as I can tell, no one has actually ever gone inside the place, but I did find a few aerial photographs. My guess is no one wants to get that up close and personal with any gorilla fighters, you know how they are." Rick tells you as he clicks some of his chitinous legs together quite unnervingly."I'm not too worried, pretty sure I might have a commando here." You jerk a thumb toward Karin, who looks puzzled at the comment."Heh, lamia." Rick laughs along with you."I don't get it..." Karin scowls, realizing she's the brunt of the joke."Don't worry about it. So what did you find other than the photos, Rick?""Eh, the usual of what I could beyond that. Some actual maps of the region, GPS coordinates for if the satellites feel like working, bit of scuttlebutt about the place."
"The normal kind of scuttlebutt?""Pretty much. A few guys that know a guy who's uncle or whatever deals with the guerrillas as some kind of negotiator says that the gorillas all swear the place is haunted. None of them will go inside or get too close for fear of being snatched up. Should make it easy for you to investigate, unless it turns out to be true, that is." Rick talks as he cuts a cigar with his mandibles and lights up."I ain't afraid of no ghost, but I'd rather not have to fend off any gorillas unless absolutely nessecary. You start taking them out and more are bound to show up, lots more." You take a seat on a pile of cinder-blocks as Rick hands you a much thinner folder, which you open.Sure enough, a few grainy photographs of what appears to be some kind of arch cut into a mountain. Though it might have originally been in the far, cold north, that was the old world. Now the ruins bump up right against some rather dense rainforest, the kind of nasty jungle shit that the gorillas love. They're at home in it, and in the jungle they really shine as fighters.Another sheet has the GPS coordinates, which, depending on the day, may not even be worth bothering with. There are few functional GPS satellites left, fewer still that the remnants left behind after the event managed to get working. GPS is mediocre at best, unreliable generally, and completely inaccessible at least 75% of the time.Which means that the regional maps are worth their weight in gold, which Rick must realize.
"The price isn't going to be cheap for those, not too many legit maps of that region floating around, but plenty of vague ones.""Server cluster." You raise an eyebrow as you look at him."You two are never going to let me forget about that, are you? I suppose I can throw this in, but after that, we're square." Rick barters, and you don't return it. It isn't as though you generally don't find plenty of stuff to pay him with in your travels. Be it pre-event machinery or junk, or more information on a wide variety of mediums.Karin peers over your shoulder as you unfurl the map and give it a quick look-over. She's quick to point out the location of the ruins, and you're just as quick to circle known guerrilla activity hot spots with your finger.[ ] "We'll see about giving this a go after I check out the carrier with my dad."[ ] "My dad had to rush things to get ready to go today, I'm sure he won't mind a few extra days to prepare if we go check out these ruins first."

[ ] "We'll see about giving this a go after I check out the carrier with my dad."Time to spend time with pa, and give time to our snakey sweetheart to prepare for an expedition.
"We'll see about giving this a go after I check out the carrier with my dad. These ruins aren't going anywhere, but if that carrier is still actually floating, it just might."You thank Rick for the info and get your craft airborne again, using the VTOL capability of your bike. The town fades quickly into the distance as you put on a bit more speed than you did for the journey toward it."What does your dad think you're going to find on that big ship, anyways?" Karin asks, having to put her lips tantalizingly close to your ear, as she'd forgotten to bring a headset."Information. Says that the humans tried to cram them full of it during the event, preserve the history and knowledge of their race and all that jazz." You yell over your shoulder loud enough for her to hear over the engine noise.Though she no-doubt would want to tag along with you, you know it would be a bad plan. You and your dad run into some pretty hairy situations that all too often turn into either a gunbattle or a sprint for your life. Sometimes both. Not the kind of situation you want to have to worry about Karin in. You'll take her along to the ruins because she found them for you and likely won't take no for an answer, but she's going to have to wait at home for this one.Besides, you'd never hear the end of it if you brought a girl along to work. From your dad or his friends, even if they would just be giving you shit for laughs.
So you circle her house once, noticing her parents are still gone, before landing vertically next to her house. Not too close, as you don't want to rattle the windows out of their frames or shatter them altogether.Karin slithers off of the bike, clearly having a difficult time of it. She tends to stay cooped up inside whenever she finds herself in the Echidna body, which means she's unused to using it much. You find it a bit amusing to watch her struggle to lower herself down without falling flat on her face, before finally you help her down yourself."You're leaving late in the day?" She inquires, and you shrug."Depends. Knowing dad, he could be ready to go right now. You know how he is, probably woke up at the crack of dawn and has been juicing on coffee ever since. It wouldn't be the first time he got into the air first before looking over the information from Rick."Thankfully Karin doesn't protest about not getting to tag along, she's smart enough to have figured things out on her own. Makes it a whole lot easier on you, and you're relieved she isn't super clingy like you'd been worried about."Anyways, I'm going to go help him with anything left that needs doing. Take this as a chance to do a bit more research, maybe you can find something good by the time I get back, eh? Has to be something in all of those books and hard drives and whatnots." You make a show of smiling and chuckling to try to play off the fact that you are about to go and likely try to land on a carrier that may or may not even be in good enough shape to allow that. Not to mention whatever kind of stuff might reside within it.
"Well say hi for me." She smiles as you start to reach for the controls, "Oh and Erik, do be careful." Karin has raised herself up to your height using her long tail, and you wonder if she might have done that to reach things higher up than normally allowed by her short minotaurus frame."You know me, I'm always careful." You reach out, around the back of her head, and pull her in for a kiss. You aren't sure if your heart is racing because of that, or out of anticipation for the carrier mission, but you think you know."Liar." Karin says simply, before slithering back enough to allow you room to take off.
Fuck yes, Generation A quest!
don't forget the dice this time please, papa. I miss the nat 1s
It doesn't take you long to make it home, and when you arrive, you aren't overly surprised by what you find.Sure enough, your dad has already loaded his plane with all the supplies you two might need for such an adventure. Some food, fresh water, ammunition, explosives, saw dust, a staggering amount of tools... Since this is just a recon of the ship, he packed heavy. If you find anything worth bringing home that requires more room, you'll either make a second trip or dump some of the less expensive stuff so you can fit it.Your dad is already waiting for you by the time you land, thermos of coffee in hand like always. You can tell just by looking at him that he's wired."Get that info from Rick?" He asks excitedly as you enter the kitchen."Yeah, lot of stuff to go through. Feel like doing that now or...""No time! Lets get in the sky already! We can go through all that junk on the flight!" Your dad interrupts, his rampant enthusiasm completely apparent. No matter how many times you two go out on a similar excursion, he's always like this beforehand."Dad you are like a giddy schoolgirl, calm down or I'm flying.""I don't care which one of us flies, lets just go! I've got everything set and in place, its going to take about six hours or so to get to location and then we have to visually locate the carrier. That could take a while so I'd rather not waste time. When I thought about it, it will be easier in daylight so we don't have to rely on the searchlights." He rattles on as he starts rushing you along back outside and toward the plane.
You slide in to the pilot seat and your dad doesn't protest, probably just glad to get going. The large PB2Y is a really damn old plane, but she's a reliable old workhorse. Slower than snot, though, even with some spruced up engines courtesy of Jimbo. It certainly isn't exciting to fly, not in the least, but you'd rather have your dad be the one reading over the boring charts and whatnot. It doesn't take you more than a few minutes to get the big bird into the sky, her fat tail, wide wings, and quad engines providing ample lift for the wide body. Your dad already has his nose in the folder, digging through typed up reports, photographs, and blueprints."So I noticed you didn't come home last night..." He surprises you by talking, waggling his eyebrows when you look over.[ ] "Got caught up with a very forceful Arachne, you know how they are. Well ok maybe you don't, so let me just say that they don't take "no" for an answer even the fifth time around."[ ] "Ivan and I got sloshed and took on some local riff-raff at the pier. >>19213466Imply that everything happened. What with romantic progress in thread 2 already, I'd think that we could ram a whole shounen arc into on evening. Enemies becoming best friends, training montage, group of ragtag heroes going against impossible odds and a epic speeches with the arch-nemesis.
"A few local pilots threw down and I had to assert my dominance with the bike and volleyball. It got pretty close on the sand but I blew them all away at the aviators contest." You start."Yeah that sounds like you. Too much like you. What are you hiding?""Then after that... Well uh... I kind of got caught up with this cow girl and was out on the town pretty late. Had to pull myself out of a tight situation this morning."The plane is silent save the engine noise for a few moments."You two finally got together, eh?""No idea what you're talking about.""At this point I'm just surprised it took you two this long. I don't know if you were just dense or too much of a womanizer to want to just pick one girl." Your dad chuckles as he opens up a large diagram of the carrier's below decks."I had my reasons." You frown. You may have been A BIT of a womanizer, but you like to think you at least showed the girls a mutually good time, for what it's worth."Should your mom be expecting grand-kids any time soon?""No. Hell no. Not if I can avoid it."You and your dad laugh for a minute and he goes over some of the specs with you. The ship is a massive one, you hadn't realized the scale of it until he'd started explaining the layout to you. Though now that you think about it, a ship large enough to land planes on must be pretty sizable. It's going to take you a long while to cover that much ground even if you are very selective about what you want to investigate.
You adjust course slightly as you continue to climb toward the clouds overhead. You'll have to lose altitude to visually spot the carrier when you get closer, but that won't be for a long while yet."I figure we check out the command centers, bridge and whatnot. There are a few places that information could be stored and we'll hit those up as well. Lastly I'd like to just do a quick sweep of any cargo, see if anything of value turns up." Your dad points out a few places on the diagram."Think any of the planes are still in working order?""With the carrier on saltwater this whole time and no crew to maintain them? They probably aren't worth their weight in scrap, I'd wager they will all be corroded and rusted to beyond repairable. We don't have any way to load them up and there is no way any of them will be in flyable condition.""Yeah I figured." You sigh. As awesome as the jetbike is, sometimes you find yourself yearning for a legit fighter craft. The military has just recently started to get a functional airforce again, real jets, not the mash-up of stuff you'd seen in the skies during the war. Shame you hadn't been a pilot back then, you'd have probably preferred it to the trenches.
"Radar contact, three low at our eleven." Your dad breaks your brief daydream. Karin and Jimbo had rigged up a decent radar setup into the old bird, and it had proved itself invaluable on more than one occasion. Both of you scour the blue sky beyond, searching for the three radar contacts. Sure enough, a minute later, you spot them a slight ways out and coming in fast. Watching as they draw nearer and nearer."Friends?" You ponder out loud, until that thought is crudely interrupted as tracer fire rakes across the nose of the aircraft."Don't think so!" Your father shouts as a puff of smoke erupts from one of the oncoming jetbikes and streams toward you. A rocket. "Break right!"1d20 to evade

"Take the helm, old man, I'll get on the guns." You grin devilishly. These raiders really don't know how to pick a target. Though they probably don't realize that this old plane isn't all she appears.A point they likely realize when your father levels out, and the turrets start appearing."Raiders raiders, this is Crevasse. You boys want to duck out or is this thing going to get messy?" You hear your father call out over the radio as you ready the gun controls and slave the top turrets to your stick."Get low and drop your cargo and we'll consider letting you go." Comes the response in crackled static."I think they want to play rough." Your dad lets you know over the headset."Their mistake."You take aim at the lead bike with the heavy M134's, all four of them. The raiders open up as they try to close the gap, coming up on your left. Unfortunately for them, getting in close just makes them an easier target. You thumb the button and the miniguns erupt in a noise akin to four angered chainsaws, the vibration present through the controls and the deck at your feet.Watching the tracers arc across the monitor toward the green sight reticule, you see a few rounds clip the lead bike and it bucks in protest. Though it is a twin-engine design, an older one, it can't stand up to that kind of abuse. The pilot falters for a few seconds, trying to keep the bike aloft, but to no avail. He's forced to leap off and pull his chute.
"That's one down. You sure you don't want to bow out? We won't tell anyone." Your dad mocks, and it wouldn't be the first time you had a group of raiders gratefully accept such an offer."Go to hell!" Comes a biting response, followed up by several rounds impacting the side of the plane. Sparks fly as the bullets tear through the thin metal and whiz through the interior of the plane. You duck out of instinct, before angrily jumping back up and returning fire."You assholes, I'll have to patch those holes!" You snarl as you depress the fire control yet again and again the miniguns stream lead. This time the remaining two raiders are ready for it, and deftly break aside to avoid the tracers. They're not so bold now, hanging further back at the edges of your effective range.Probably because they have rockets and don't think you do.A poor choice of judgement.Flicking a few switches reveals the hidden rocket pods concealed in the top paneling of the flying boat. They are small rockets, but have a basic homing feature that relies on heat. Easily fooled by flares. If the raiders have any, at least.1d20 for rocketry>lets try again shall we? huehuehue

Do you? With a "heh", you hit the flashing red button. With a sound somewhat akin to that of hundreds of angered hornet girls (a sound no man can forget), the rockets explode outward on plumes of smoke. You watch on the monitor, tracking the rockets as they track their prey. The raiders, for their part, do a decent enough job evading. They must be more well off than some of the others you've seen, because they do deploy countermeasures. Unfortunately for them, not enough to fool all of the rockets.A point they must have realized, as both of them leap from their bikes as the rockets close in for the kill. Mere seconds later, the jetbikes are consumed in a flurry of small explosions. You see black pieces go flying off, but notice both raiders appear to be alive, though likely thoroughly infuriated and embarrassed. They did just get beat by a ~100 year old PB2Y. Albeit one with a few "upgrades"."Nothing like a little excitement to round out the morning eh?" Your dad slaps you on the back as you flop down back in your seat and shake your head."They just never learn. Why do they never learn? That's like, the fifth or sixth group we've done that to.""They wouldn't be raiders if they were smart. Coffee?" He extends the full thermos cap in your direction even as he swings the plane back onto its original course."No. Also, how much of that is left? It was full when we took off...." You lean back in the comfortable leather seat and sigh as you come back down from the combat high. With any luck, there won't be any more interruptions and you'll just have a long and boring flight. As boring as a flight set out to discover an old carrier you plan to pillage can be, anyways. Looking down at the cool blue waters so far down, you wonder what might lurk below it.Quickly your thoughts begin to jumble up, thinking about potential jetbike upgrades you might be able to afford if you can find something worth some cash on this trip. Thinking about Karin and just what happened last night and how it is going to significantly change how you spend your nights. Anything to put the thoughts of the Ice-core at bay, though they lurk at the fringes of your mind no matter what you do.Your dad goes on and on about the history of the US navy and the impact that the carriers made. Stuff about force projection and old politics you don't really understand because you weren't alive at the time and things have changed so much since. You'd wish you'd taken him up on the offer of coffee, it would at least keep you awake.[ ] Talk with dad>about what?[ ] Go to sleep and have him wake you up when you get closer>Goldsmith an order of H

"So do you know anything about the Frosts as a race? Karin stumbled upon some information about old Frost ruins, most of them are in the Deadlands, but she found one that wasn't. Though it is in gorilla territory...""Our race, huh? I probably don't know a whole lot beyond what you do, to be honest. Lets see... I'm sure you know that we were the lords of the northern most climbs, dominion over the highest latitudes. I've read a bit of the history that scholars have been able to piece together, though it isn't much or very detailed. From what I can tell, though, races in the other world didn't mix. Monsters stayed with the same kind of monster. You know that changed after the event, but none of us know why." Your dad scratches his head in thought."How about the ruins? Anything they left behind?""Well I've seen a few examples of artifacts, before the war started. You were pretty young at the time so you probably don't remember. Seems we had a fascination with axes and our own language and form of writing. I've seen stones carved up and down with the runes. Some say they tell stories, but I've never heard of anyone actually able to read them. As far as the ruins are concerned, I can't help you much there. Though if you're going into gorilla territory, you'd better be damn cautious.""Yeah." You nod and glance over the gauges out of habit."Now in the old world, information was easy to get. Hell you could just go on this thing called the internet and look up pretty much anything. Damn I miss that... Anyways, if you're really interested, you should try asking around some of the larger cities. I'm sure there has to be someone somewhere who might know more. Though you might be better off not wasting the time and just going for it." Your dad shrugs as he inches the throttle forward slightly to gain a bit more altitude.
"Do you remember when it happened?" You leave the question hanging in the air."I'll never forget it until the moment I die. I've told you the story before. The sky turned red, like fire. The wind... I've never experienced anything like that wind. Would blow you right over if you stepped outside. Blew houses over. Then we saw it, above us, that other world. Clear and unreal and no one understood what was happening. It just started to... Meld, I suppose, with our world. Land shifted around, billions died in the floods and earthquakes and fires. And then, before it was all over, we changed." He shrugs, "And in the first time in a long time, the world was quiet."You listen half-intently to the dramatic story, one you've heard from anyone old enough to remember it. You were glad to have been born afterwards."Well now, enough of such a heavy subject. How did you finally wind up with Karin? She finally just have to tie you down and force it out of you?""Nah she knows I would have enjoyed that too much. I guess it just kind of... Happened? Hard to explain." You fiddle with the seat-belt as you talk, not exactly the kind of stuff you usually talk about with your dad."I'm going to just say one thing and I'll drop it. You're an idiot if you fritter away the relationship."Neither of you talk much more for the rest of the flight, save for speculation about what you might find upon arrival. At long last you make it into the area that the carrier was last purported, both of you eagerly scanning the water below through binoculars. You spot it first."That is a big fucking boat...""Where? Aha! Jackpot!"
>>19214493>"That is a big fucking boat..."They are SHIPS, boy
>>19214493>peculation about what you might find upon arrivalCome on panacea and Twinkies!
The carrier, what remains of it, looks like one would expect a metal ship adrift on the salt water would look like after so long without maintainence. The color would best be described as "rust", the once magnificent bridge now dilapidated by broken antenna and shattered windows. You keep watching it through the binoculars as your dad readies some rope.Carefully, so damn carefully, the two of you maneuver the flying boat close enough to the carrier to be able to tie off to it. Rungs alongside the vessel providing opportunity to do so, though it takes a few attempts at finding them solid enough to hold. Finally the two of you have several ropes fashioned and the plane secure alongside the carrier. Now it is just a matter of getting on-board."You remembered the sawdust, right?""Of course I remembered the sawdust. Who do you take me for?" Your dad frowns as he walks past you and toward the rear of the craft. You know he remembered it, you just like to screw with him.Sawdust might seem a strange thing to bring all the way out to a derelict naval carrier, most folk would be unable to discern its purpose. The first time you'd gone out with your dad on one of his adventures, you hadn't understood it either. Now though, you wouldn't leave home for anywhere dangerous without some.Pykrete, as your dad calls it, is insanely tough stuff. You can, given enough water, encase your body in a hard layer of ice in a suit of makeshift armor. The sawdust mixture makes it almost bulletproof. Cheap insurance for when you're headed into the unknown. You use some ocean water, the sawdust, and a bit of your "magic" to form up your armor. Not exactly a stunningly aesthetic set, but functional.
>>19214594>Pykrete....holy shit. thats an amazing use of racial abilities.
>>19214594Pykrete... gawd damn. forgot that stuff. Papa you really thought this stuff out.
>>19214594Pykrete! Fuck yeah!
Your dad has already done the same, his token 10" barreled AR15 resting against the assault vest he's fitted over his armor. His gun is a bit of a custom job by Jimbo, rigged up to function with a single arm (and a lot of training on your dad's part) and loaded with 60rd magazines so he doesn't have to reload quite as often. Large, ambidextrous controls and a well fashioned sling help him to still be alarmingly skilled with the short rifle. You slip on your own mag carrier which carries substantially fewer rounds, being .308 instead of 5.56x45. You've always been partial to the larger caliber, it served you well in the war. The G3 in your hands being the same one you'd had later in your service. A bit battered and worn on the outside, scratches on its black polymer furniture and dings in its finish, it nonetheless is as accurate and reliable as the day you'd gotten it. Certainly a vast improvement over the SKS that had been thrust in your hands at the start of your service, which had almost no rifling left."Still carrying that boat anchor around with you?" He smirks."Better than your pea shooter. Lets do this."Stepping off the plane and onto the rungs of the ship, both of you start to climb. The side of the carrier extends high up, insanely high. It takes you several long minutes to climb it, you faring better than your father, as you're in substantially better shape and he's limited to a single arm. Actually you guess he's doing quite well given that kind of handicap.
Finally both of you step onto the (still solid) flight deck of the massive carrier, and take a few moments to catch your breath."Always a ladder, never an elevator..." Your dad gripes as he looks around the top of the ship. Absent are any signs of aircraft. Either they all flew off still functional, or the sea and waves have claimed those unfortunate enough to have been resting on top.Dropping to a crouch, both of you look over the layout that your dad rests down on the deck, before both of you gaze nervously at the dark sky in the distance."I don't want to get caught in that storm if we can help it, could easily slam the plane against the hull of this thing and leave us stranded and shit out of luck. So we might want to think about making this fast. If we split up we can cover more ground, and we still have the radios to stay in contact. "We don't have many options, so I'll take the cargo areas and search for anything of value. You see about getting any info that you can." You stand up and your dad follows, tucking the plans back inside his vest before handing you a copy."Right. We'll meet back here in no more than forty five minutes. Should give us enough time to check what we need to and get out before the storm hits. If you find anything you can carry easily, snag it. If not, we'll put a beacon down and mark the location and come back for the good stuff a different day.""Fair enough. Try checking in on the radios every five minutes, we'll see how they work in this iron jungle." You head off in the direction down, while your dad goes toward the bridge to check the most likely information storage areas. You push yourself into a hard jog, something you're used to from your military days, and today you're only carrying a fraction of the kind of weight you'd had to during the war. It makes the going fast, and pretty soon you're headed down a flight of stairs into the interior of the ship.Once the light fades, you're forced to secure a set of night vision goggles and activate the infrared illuminator. You know enough to know how badly a flashlight gives away your position, so you tend to avoid them when able. The goggles are generation three, at least. Picked from a nicely hidden underground bunker that had housed missiles in the past. They do a good job of making everything visible while keeping you relatively safe in the darkness.
"Check... Check...?" You hear over your headset."Five by five. How are things on your end? I haven't reached the cargo areas yet." You thumb the mic at your throat."First location didn't pan out so I'm headed to the second. Lots of debris in the way so I've had to come up with a few detours. Stay frosty."Glad that the radios at least function right now, you press on with renewed vigor. Deeper and deeper into the ship, making sure to pause at every corner to take a good long look. So far you've yet to stumble into any kind of situation, you'd like to keep it that way. After checking the ship plans again, you figure out the right way to go, and cut down a hallway after descending a few more flights. The hall is pretty narrow, hatches leading off on both sides. Your military training is screaming at you for being in such a situation, the potential for anything to pop out and waste you from one of those open hatches all too real. Thankfully this ship has been out here for more than twenty years. Anything that might have been on it is surely dead by this point.Right?

Finally you reach the cargo areas, in the real bowels of the ship. The silence inside is deafening, only broken when you check in on the radio. Though you've finally reached a depth that all you get is some crackling static in response. Still means he's activated his radio, at least. You walk through rows upon rows of wooden crates, many tipped over and split open. All manner of supplies in a plethora of different packaging. So far, nothing of value. You do snag a few MRE rations that you find, stuffing them into the bag on your back. Even if you don't find anything of value you can carry out, you at least won't be hungry on the ride home.More interesting than the food are the stashes of electronics and such, the armory you find still full of weapons in almost pristine order... But what catches your eye the most is the aircraft armament storage.Racks of missiles, row upon row of bombs. They would be easy to get out if the lift still worked, but this poor old ship hasn't seen power in at least over a decade. Though with the right knowledge maybe you could get the reactors back online and at least unload the ship of anything valuable. There's no way it would be able to run under power even if the reactors could be coaxed back from the dead.

You rifle through one of the MREs and dig out the pre-event candy you're so fond of whenever you can find some in edible condition. Stuffing a handful in your mouth as you continue to walk on, eagerly looking out over the goodies. The military would pay huge for this kind of hardware, more than enough to cover the expenses of even chartering a large ship and extra workers to get it all out. You nearly salivate at the thought of what you could buy with that kind of payout, certainly the largest one yet. Must be due to the location, not exactly easy for run-of-the-mill raiders and looters to get to.Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be much you can carry out. Maybe a few guns, but the value on those isn't astoundingly high. There are still plenty of them to go around."Eri*******u there?" Comes a sudden burst from your headset."Yeah dad but you're breaking up pretty heavily. [X] Hanger. There's no aircraft on the ship (we think) so it's probably the best place to at least have space away from the undead. Granted, our shaved wood ice armor can withstand the bite of teef, but we need an area to me mobile. The reactor room is clearly a trap and clearly full of Radioactive Super Zombies.
>>19215432NOOOOOOPEPURGE PURGE PURGEBY FIRE BE CLEANSED. GET WHAT WE CAME FROM THEN SEND THIS SHIP TO THE ABYSS.
>[ ] Cut down the hallway marked "Reactor room 1", you know there is another way out from thereIt's not a trap, the hangar is a trap. It's a double bluff.
>>19215646But of course, the older RE games were the best
Quickly as you can, you dash toward the way toward the hangars. Even if there isn't a direct route out from there, it should be a lot wider, more open, give you time and space to think."Zombies, dad, fucking zombies!" You key the mic, "Why is it never catgirls?""They****here too*********plane*****..." Crackles back the static filled response. The only good thing about zombies is that they are slow, slow and stupid as monsters come. This makes it easy to shove some of them out of your way as you continue to run. Unlike the movies, they don't turn you into one of them when they bite you, no no.They just pin you down and eat you alive, every bit of you.You manage to make it into the hangar finally, and slam the hatch behind you shut with as much force as you can muster. Unfortunately, it is too rusted to latch. Instead, you drag a large and heavy crate of something in front of the door and pray that it holds for at least a few moments, until the zombies achieve enough mass behind each other to force it open. The hangar is equally dark as the last room, and much larger in scale. Planes are scattered about in varying states of disarray, none appearing the least bit operational.
Thankfully you spot what appear to be stairs leading upwards, stairs devoid of any undead presence. Though there appears to be some large puddle resting in front of them. You aren't sure what, but given that this is a hangar, probably some kind of oil or something. There is another hallway at the far end of the hangar, but it lacks any markings as to what it leads to. You didn't see the diagram long enough to know and you don't have the time to find your current location and check. You could maybe fashion some kind of flamethrower and try to burn your way back the way you came, if you could even get one working in time. If it would even be enough to clear out the zombies, you've no idea how many there are in there now, possibly hundreds.[ ] Run to the stairs[ ] Run to the unknown hallway[ ] Try to fight your way back to the original set of stairs

Thumping of the undead at the hatch, which is slowly being forced open, forces your hand into action. Without much time to think, you dash over toward the staircase leading up and out.As a precaution, you reach out and attempt to freeze the puddle before you get there. It appears to be working somewhat, so there must be at least some water present in whatever it is. Good enough for you.Your feet splash through the half-frozen liquid as you near the stairs, feeling a bit elated that you'll be able to get to the surface and than on the plane so you can nope the fuck out of here. You hope your dad hasn't had as hard of a time as you have. Though knowing him, he's probably already waiting for you, hopefully with the plane started.Something grabs your foot and you almost trip over yourself, but manage not to faceplant. Your other foot becoming lodged as you stop, stuck in the liquid. You look down and notice that the half-frozen liquid has formed into some kind of blob around your ankle, and despite how hard you struggle, you find yourself unable to wrench yourself free. The rest of the puddle seems to be solidifying before your very eyes, coming together around you.You notice a pale green orb in the mix as it continues to solidify, the orb gravitating toward the center of whatever the hell it is you're looking at.A pair of red eyes rise up to stare you in the face and a sloppy mouth begins to form on the blob beneath those eyes. Those cold, dead eyes. The mouth churns as slimy hands start reaching for you."Why.Can't.It.Ever.Be.Catgirls?!?!"[ ] Are ya ready guys? You aren't sure how slimegirls react to gunshots, or if you could even hit her core in your current predicament. All you know is, you don't want to find out what a zombie slimegirl has in mind after catching someone. The thought doesn't intrigue you in the least. So you focus your mind and lash out with the one thing you've got. Ice ice baby. You don't unleash your full ability too often, as sub-zero degree temperatures inside tend to not make many people happy. But you aren't here to please her, though she might think differently with whatever is left of her thought process, if she even has one.It also takes a lot out of you to change temperatures to such an extent, but at least here it proves quite effective. The slimegirl is frozen slowly as she presses forward, her mouth drawing nearer and nearer as more of her turns to ice, cracking as she continues to move. You press harder, using every ounce of crazy ice magic you've got to make some slime popsicle. Her face is a mere inch from yours by the time she freezes all the way through. It is easy enough to snap off her brittle hands binding you, and you step back from the frozen puddle, breathing heavily.Unsure of how long she'll remain frozen, you level the barrel of your rifle at her pale green core. You know slimegirls... Intimately. That isn't a live core."Sorry babe." You squeeze the trigger and pump several rounds into the frozen figure in front of you. The heavy FMJ bullets tearing through the ice and impacting the core. You aren't sure if it will actually kill her or not, but you don't plan on sticking around long enough to find out.Instead, you push past her and start up the stairs three at a time. Despite already being worn down from using your power to such an extent, you need to get outside and you need it now.
Higher and higher you climb, desperate for fresh salt air and to get into the plane and leave. You want nothing more than off this damn floating city of the dead. You try your radio again, only to find that it isn't working. Craning your neck, you can see why. The zombie slimegirl must have gotten some of herself inside of it, shorted it out. Why didn't you bring waterproof radios knowing you were going to be near water? You don't have an answer.Unfortunately you find your upward progress blocked by a massive pile of rubble at one landing, forcing you to either take a detour through another section of the ship or head back the way you came. Neither sounds overly inviting.Nor does a high pitched, quiet screeching coming from the dark chamber beyond as you push open the hatch in an attempt to detour around the rubble."Why can't it ever be catgirls?">Why?>because>Generation A will continue when I continue after getting some food. "Because." Your inner monologue tells you, "It is never catgirls."You hate that monologue.Again all of your instincts tell you to back away slowly, leave the darkness to whatever is is that is inside that chamber, and find another way. But that is assuming there is another way that isn't chock full of the jerked walking dead. Sometimes this job is escaping (well, attempting to escape) bee girl gangrape. Sometimes its being stuck deep in a ship of horrors.Rifle raised at the ready, you aren't exactly left with a whole lot of options here. You need to get to the far side of this cavernous chamber, which appears to be another storage room as far as you can tell. There are just a few ways to do it.First, you could sprint across, hope to just avoid whatever is making that noise in a desperate bid to escape via speed.Second, you could take it slow, take out whatever is making that noiseOr third, it could ambush you before you make up your mind."You loookkk..... Deliciousssss....." The monster says as it drops from the ceiling, black leathery wings flapping before it lands.1d20 to avoid brutal vampiric werebat rape.

The hissing, evil voice, is cut abruptly short when you punch the werebat in the stomach. With a loud "Oooohhfff!!!" It is tossed back by the force of the blow and you go charging through the doorway. You don't hang around, you don't deliver a finishing blow, you just GO.Night vision goggles shaking hard as you sprint full-force across the room, magazine pouches bouncing against the ice armor, you focus hard on the hatch in front of you."Ghaaaahhh!!! It doesn't matter, you're already at the hatch. The hatch you rip open with as much force as you can, practically shearing the metal of the rusted hinges right off. Through the hatch and up the stairs, that's all you have to do. All you can think about. Cole train baby.Up and up and up and oh fuck when will these stairs end!?Until, to your massive relief, you come bursting out of the last hatch at the top of the stairs, into the open space beyond. Your dad is already waiting for you near the rungs leading down to the boat. You can see what appears to be a satchel on his back, and it looks full. That still isn't enough to slow you down."Are you...?""GO! JUST GO!" You interrupt him as skid over the side and grab a rung.

Your dad doesn't need a seconds more explanation as the screaming werebat comes flying out of the open hatch and into the hot sun, but he does take the second required to slap down a radar beacon on to the flight deck. Though it howls in pain from the light, it nevertheless spots the two of you halfway down the rungs and begins to dive. Finally the direct sunlight proves to be too much for the werebat girl, who lands, screeching in anger, back on the ship."I'm sorry!!!!" You yell up at her as you and your dad finally reach the flying boat. You don't even bother to untie the ropes, you just pull out a long k-bar and slice through them as fast as you can. Your dad already has the engines firing up and he doesn't have to say anything, you climb in to the PB2Y and literally jump into the seat next to him."Take off! Take off!!!""I know! Though you do have a rifle at your disposal, you'd rather not punch a bunch of needless holes in the rear of the plane if you can help it. It's already going to need a patch-job for the holes that the raiders put in it with their jetbike guns.Instead, you decide to get in nice and close to dispatch them without causing any damage."I'll take care of them, get us in the sky!" You call back at your dad as you sprint toward the rear hatch where the zombies are beginning to pile up.Though you're still a bit beat from using your powers to such an extent required to freeze that undead slime girl, you nevertheless focus your energy yet again. Ice quickly begins to form around your arms, extending out into sharp, jagged spikes. They grow and grow until they reach out two feet from your fists. Its a technique your father taught you when you were young, and has served as an excellent defense tool ever since."Space CQC, motherfuckers!" You delve into the group of them, lashing out with the sharp, hardened ice blades. The zombies, too slow to react to the flurry of attacks, begin to fall quickly. The ice quickly becomes stained a nasty brownish color from piercing through skulls and ribcages. You strike and strike and strike, forcing the group back and turning them into corpses of corpses. You feel the ground shake beneath your feet and realize that the plane is finally starting to pick up speed. About damn time. You dispatch the last remaining zombie with a final ice spike through the eye.

You groan as you flop over the top of the seat and grab your head."Gotta say I did not expect zombies. I found a dead catgirl, you?" Your dad glances up at you.Something from the window catches your eye and you almost jump out of your skin at the sight. The werebat flapping hard to stay alongside the plane."All I wanted was looovvvvveeee!!!!" She cries out as she begins to fall behind."I'm not single!" You grab out two of the packaged meals and toss one to your dad."Shit, this brings me back..." He shakes his head and opens up the package, "Jalapeno and cheese, you know me pretty damn well. Now that you get a good look at her in the relative light of the plane, she isn't exactly the terrifying creature you'd thought you'd witnessed in the bowels of the ship. Long black hair held back and up in a tied ponytail. Thin frame and a modest chest but surprisingly wide hips for her build... Even you'd admit she's cute, even with the rather unnerving red eyes and bat ears, not to mention the wings.

"I was hungry... And you did really look delicious... Sorry I ambushed you, I didn't mean it like that, honest! Its just been a while since I ate, you see. I'm a bit of a scholar and so when I saw the carrier... And than I took a bit of a nap and by the time I woke up I didn't know where I was and... Thank you for finding me!" She belts out at lightning speed, hands clamped tight into fists at her chest."Err, well, don't mention it... Now if you're hungry, why don't you eat?" You raise an eyebrow and scowl, having noticed she's pretty much just set the MRE aside."Ah well, you see... I'm a vampire bat so... This kind of stuff is ok but really what I need is..." She breaks off, her face red, staring at her feet."Is?" You press."Well, blood.""...You're joking, right?""No... I'm not..." She looks away, folding her wings around herself as she does.[ ] I'm a blood buffet, dig in![ ] My girlfriend would probably freak out over the terror hickey that would leave, but I have this friend...[ ] Errr... You mean you're going to let me?" She asks, almost drooling as she looks down at your wrist like it was a moist delicious cake."I have a few requirements. First, you don't get attached in any way shape or form, I'm in a relationship and I know how some of you monstergirls work... Second, don't kill me. Third; you tell me anything about the Ice-core disease, and that ship, that you might know." You tick off your fingers."Deal!" She exclaims the second you stop talking, eyes locked on the bulging vein on your wrist."Alright, well I suppose I can let you just this once. If you want a more... Reliable food source, I have a friend who could REALLY use a girl to at least just talk to. He hasn't exactly had the best luck with that but he's a good guy." You add as you slowly extend out your arm."Thanks for the food!" The werebat girl says quickly and quite loudly, before sinking two fangs right into your wrist.
>>19218095There was a doujin about it that was very heartwarming. That might be it.

>>19218243This the one? I didn't realize it was a common theme. Don't get me wrong, I have 0 problem with it. It is just weird seeing it pop up more or less independently in different quests with similar settings. Small world, ect, ect.
>>19218296Well, I guess it makes sense though. Anyone who loves monstergirls enough to run a quest for them would probably have read it. Simply for it's rarity value, it's one of the only werebat doujins out there.
>>19218292Case in point: Sad werebat from /a/s bat-shit insane monster world quest. It is like this quest if you added 100% more camp, HUEHUEHUE and porn. Oh god, there was so much porn.
>>19218296I was thinking of this one:http://exhentai.org/g/474179/6f4530055c/http://g.e-hentai.org/g/474179/6f4530055c/
Oh, now that is a straaange feeling. She was right, it is painless, it doesn't hurt at all. In fact, as bizarre as it seems, somehow it actually feels good.Really good. You clamp your jaw shut as you realize you were about to let out a rather inappropriate moan as the girl continues to drink, making small sucking noises as she does. If you closed your eyes, it would sound just like something else...No, Erik, no! No lewd thoughts! You just started a relationship, damn it!"Fuah~!" The girl finally pulls away, breathing hard, her mouth covered in your red blood."Ah! Let me take care of that for you!" The werebat starts as you push on your wrist to get it to coagulate. She snatches a first aid kit down off the wall and busily starts to wrap your wrist in a gauze bandage. You sit still and let her work."That was so good... I was right when I thought you'd be delicious..." The girl sighs happily, sinking back once again to lean against the side of the plane. This time she looks as though she's ready to fall asleep."Well I couldn't exactly just sit here while you were starving. Now for your end of the bargain." You sit down across from her, touching the bandages on your wrist and wondering why you can't feel any pain from the wound.
>>19218339Bromont's quest?Yeah, there was so much good porn, and all the girls were good choices. And then /a/ chooses to hook up with the girl who had no threads about, and totally ditches the mother of our child.

"So you wanted to know about the ship? And the Ice-core disease? I'll admit, neither of them are really a focus of my studies. I know the ice-core is a Frost and Yuki-onna genetic disease but not much beyond that. As far as the ship is concerned, I was hoping it was full of data about the old human world. Though when I arrived, I realized I didn't know where to search, and never found much in the way of books or anything." The werebat starts talking and you lean in to hear her rather quiet voice better."That's because they weren't storing data on books, they were storing it on hard drives.""Ah! I thought maybe that was the case, but with all of those zombies shuffling around... I was a bit stuck. My name is Vanessa, by the way, but you can just call me Essa. Anyways, like I said before, I'm a scholar. My main focuses of expertise are actually ancient otherworld history, but this trip I was interested to see what, if anything, the humans were thinking during the event. I wanted real, raw data from the exact time of the event, not just recollections of survivors, though.""Ancient history from the other world, huh? Know much about Frosts?" You ask, your interest having perked up."Sorry, but they aren't really my specialty." Essa apologizes with a bow of her head."Ah, right. Well if you've got no place to go or need to get your bearings, my friend Ivan can help you out. Trust me when I say he isn't nearly as scary as he appears, he's a big softie, actually. Literally. Anyways, why don't you come actually take a seat? This metal floor isn't exactly comfortable."

>>19218489Yeah, not going to lie, I am surprised and not surprised at the same time. Ignoring the animu side of it, the monster porn alone just makes way too much sense in terms of content /tg/ would like. I just didn't realize that there were /tg/ people still on /a/ enough to be aware of BS existence. Of course, it is Bromont and he does tend to draw a crowd.
"Hey dad, this is Vanessa but she goes by Essa. She's a scholar on ancient otherworld history. Unfortunately she doesn't know anything about my issue, but now that I think about it, she might be able to help us sort through this data." You jerk your thumb at the bag of hard drives."Eh?! You have the ice-core?! I'm so sorry, I didn't know!" Essa exclaims, clamping her wing-hands over her mouth in shock."I forget to mention that? My bad. Anyways, you have anything better to do or do you want in on this project?""I owe you for getting me off that ship, I'll help!" She pushes forward and nods enthusiastically."Great. You can probably stay at Ivan's place, it's pretty roomy and he's an upstanding guy unlike myself. He'd willingly knock himself out rather than peek, whereas I might be tempted to set up hi-def cameras.""Wha?! Really?!""No. Maybe. Anyways, take a seat and chill out like us. We've got a few hours to go before we hit the mainland again, I'll fly you over to Ivan's as soon as we land."The rest of the flight goes smoothly, the first thing that really has for you all day. No raiders, no zombie rain, and Essa; with her small frame, ends up curling up in the leather seat behind you and falling asleep. You'd probably doze off yourself if you still weren't a bit juiced up over the events of the day. As well as a bit concerned about explaining the bite on your wrist, though there were those zombies... But perhaps lying is a poor idea..."Bah. What can I trade you for your pop tarts?" You glance over at your dad.
Several boredom filled hours later, and the PB2Y finally touches down at the airfield next to your house. The rumble of the tires on the rocky stretch jerks you out of your near-snoozing state and you sit up, wiping at your eyes."Yo wings, we're here." You rouse Essa from her sleep and the three of you depart, bleary-eyed, from the aircraft."That was a long damn day, I'm going to go to bed. We'll worry about these hard drives tomorrow, eh?" Despite her protests, you manage to get Essa onto the jetbike. She's never been on one before, but after assuring her it will be much faster and less exhausting than flying herself, you coax her on.The ride is full of terrified shrieks and consists mostly of her either near-strangling you or screaming in your ear WHILE near-strangling you. It isn't exactly a pleasant ride, it somehow makes Karin seem like a normal and completely relaxed passenger. Finally, FINALLY, you come in for a fast landing. Anything to stop the terrified screaming."I thought we were going to crash that whole time!" Essa is noticeably shaking as you help her off of the bike."Erik! And um... Who's this?" Karin exclaims as she slithers toward you, quite unlike her when she's in her current snake~y form, and with a blush she tries to hide behind you."Wah? A real Echidna?!" Essa asks, wide-eyed."Nah she's just half and half cow girl, but she does this weird swap thingy, also she has pretty weird underwear for this fo...."Karin clamps her hands over your mouth before you can continue, the cobras in her hair hissing dangerously."Also she's my girlfriend."When you turn around, you see Karin with her back to you, and you can tell she's blushing furiously just from seeing her ears."Really? Your boyfriend is so great! He saved my life from a derelict ship and let me drink some of his blood because I was starving!" Essa beams at you and Karin.
"Yeah I'm fucking great, which is why I'm going to take my payment here and now." You grin as you push Essa down at the same time as you unzip your pants."E-Erik?!" Karin protests, eyes and mouth wide with shock."Don't complain, I'm a man with needs and sometimes those needs are batgirls." You laugh as you flop out your icicle and press it against Essa's cheek."Suck it.""Erik, what are you...?" Karin clamps her hands over her mouth as she watches in a mixture of terror and disgust."I-I don't understand..." Essa complains, trying to back away."Oh, my mistake. Here, let me help you." You summon up a bit of power and form a small spike of ice over your index finger. Ever so carefully, you make a light cut at the base of your iceman."Ahh...? B-blood..." Essa says quietly, watching as a small drop of red falls to the ground. She licks her lips as she watches another slowly make its way down."Well don't just sit there, eat up." You snort, grabbing a handful of that luscious brown hair and pulling her head slightly toward you. Essa makes no motion to resist, her eyes focused hard on the small nick, her tongue slowly extending out as she catches another drop on the tip of it."Hey now, you've got to eat properly." You guide her mouth until it slowly starts wrapping itself around frosty, and you sigh in pleasure at the sensation as the warm werebat mouth starts to take in more and more."I can't watch this! I don't even know who you are anymore!" Karin cries, tears welling in her eyes as she quickly slithers off back toward the house. Essa's eyes turn to follow her, but you give her a jerk with her hair.
"Hey, you haven't finished eating yet!""Mmmph?" She tries to say something around your shaft, but you just take the opportunity to push yourself in more. Essa swallows as you continue to sink in, her eyes greedily focused on the bleeding cut until her lips finally meet it. She hesitates for a moment, the blood moistening her full, pink lips. A second later, and she's moved beyond it. Figuring she's gone that far on her own, you take the initiative and press in the extra few inches until you've bottomed out, much of you already down in her throat."Ahh yeah, eat up..." You groan as Essa begins moving back and forth. She keeps a hard suction along the shaft, which forces more blood out of the cut. This she moves back in to suck up, the sensation nearly more than you can stand. Again and again she hungrily repeats the process, not even complaining any time you push the last few inches in yourself and feel her throat from the inside."Shit... Shiitttt...." Your hips buck and you moan in pleasure, you're close now, so damn close. Essa doesn't seem to know what's going on, and is about to release you from her mouth, when you grab her by the hair with both hands. She doesn't struggle much as you quickly force her back and forth, pressing yourself in as deep as you can go, "Fuck I'm going to...!!!!"
Legs tensing, you release yourself even as you thrust as hard and deep as you can, causing Essa's eyes to fly open in shock as you flood her throat with your seed. She attempts to pull away, but you hold her there, denying her retreat. A last few spurts into her mouth, along her tongue, and finally you release your grip, Essa quickly backing off and coughing as your sno-cone leaves her lips."You can't swallow until you thank me for the food." You smirk evilly."T-thahnk youh for thah fhoood..." She works out with her mouth full, giving you a complete view of the thick white sauce swirling around on her tongue, a small bit tricking down her bottom lip. She only swallows after you give her a nod."S-so much... Warm and... Bitter..." She sticks out her tongue, clearly not enjoying the flavor. You grab a lock of her long brown hair and wrap it around your snowman to stop the bleeding, getting a bit of your baby batter in her hair as you do. With a satisfied sigh, you shake your head."Ahh, batgirls..."

Not sure if I will be successful or not but tomorrow is really going to suck if I don't snag at least a few hours. It was a fun one and I hope I can mange another Thursday since the weekend looks like a no-go but fuck I just realized it is Thursday and I've been thinking a day behind. I might be able to get Friday evening off actually, one of the newbies owes me for picking up one of his shifts on zero notice.>>19219744So yes, hopefully the same board tomorrow.Goodnight (I hope) /tg/
