The storm has past and the sun is breaking to the east.

We've recieved word that a fleet of flyers is heading your way. 3 Gryffins in all. Not enough to oust us, but enough to give us trouble with our final adversary.

We've also recieved various hypothesii from the Science division on the presence of fauna-

1. The fact that there is a wellspring of ancient creatures there means that an ibonyte tar pit is likely recessitating them

2. The giant skull indicates a creature that can't possibly come from this planet, they suspect that the monsters you're facing have alien origin, be sure to collect as many samples to this effect by defeating the enemy through piercing or slashing methods.

3. The giant skull might also be the result of the skyland's isolated gravities and wellspring of ibonyte, which is possibly why the Kashir hold this island to a close watch.

However, in regards to the war effort- the Council sees no value in it past it's placement to adjacent islands. Ensure that a base remains standing at the end of the day, and wipe out all resistance both Kashir and otherwise to ensure that this forward base remain standing.

The Terrible Children are to build control towers and ensure that at least 2 remain standing at the end of the enemy's assault. On failure , Evacuation procedures will be followed.

The War Council has deemed that the necessity of a forward base outweighs the possibility of letting yet another island fall. The science division stipulates that if the ecosystem lands anywhere on the Earth's surface, the resulting megafauna will violently procreate and add to the density of dangerous creatures.

The Voss Royal Guard and their adepts, the Royal Armor division will defend the island while reserve forces arrive at the deadline to relieve and sustain the base.

Reinforcement Options:
[Tmp.] General Gustav
13Th Unit
Thane's Legion

maybe called on to assist. But only one maybe chosen. While others hold off the forward base at Heaven's Gate.

Hasan's flyers are spotted on Radar, however air patrol has also spotted shimmering "Sails" in cloud formations. It is possible that the Kashir Royal guard is being summoned for this as well.
To simplify , we have the day to prepare, expect the enemy to attack in the afternoon.

And if the night wears on, we are to survive that as well.

Report in.

In preparation to this, Command is urged to place defensive positions around the island. You have 67 terror, you may furnish an initial force and ONE temporary base as you see fit.
We need a corpsier on the field, both to keep a grip on that Rex as well as to renew the dead on both sides. I recommend Nibelheim unit for our reinforcement.

Greetings and good morning Voss.

It is a grand sight, seeing the Prince's tip of the spear here in the middle of a godforsaken jungle where no man leaves.

I'm sure you're all wondering what's here, I will assure you that nothing good is here, it is evident in your faces since you have survived a whole day. And rest assured that this island has more monsters to spare, just wait and see !

Tell me, since you wish to have this island so much, why not answer a question for me,
That Death God who attacked you with hands of fire. Wherefor did the fates take her ?
"You mean the one you abandoned while fleeing like a coward? Dead, I killed her."
"Go to hell, Hassan. And this time, stay there."
Reporting in. Deploying at Elfriede's Griffin. All 9 of us.
I see, you did away with her. A pity. I suppose I'll entertain myself to another question.

The body. Wherefor did you place it ? Left it in a ditch I'm sure or had your men take it to be studied by your glassmen ?

Even if you gave me a little bit of a hint, I will call away one Griffin. Guaranteed !
"How could we pass up the chance to examine such a juicy morsel? Yes we examined the remains, then disposed of them."
"Recall a Gryffin? Please don't, we're so eager to add them to our flock. They are magnificent creatures. A pity they're so... free-spirited. No matter, we've made short work of them..."

The goddess you knew is as good as dead, Executor. Why do you care about her body?

"Fed the remains to the pigs, you could still gather them with a shovel and some bags if you're intent on it."

"Yes ma'am I copy, it is good to hear your voice. Once the reinforcements arrive have them avoid the giant skull, we've made a temporary deal with the large primate. We will return directly to base at full speed, I expect an attack by Hassan soon."

The spearhead invasion to an exotic location dubbed zanzibarland has proved both fruitful and dangerous. While groundbreaking oppurtunity to research ancient creatures have come to light- the added boone of having a resident monster will also prove a useful card for out forward base.

However, while one can only wonder what is in that monkey's barrel, the promise forged between us in blood is as hard as iron under the word of Voss. North and South Zanzibarland has been created as a result. . . .

IceHeart has ascended to the rank of Major.
The following promotions may process under her purview.

Congratulations everyone, It is too bad we lost Elizabet to the elements, I would not want Vilkas to declare war on the sun ....
"Aaaaaand done." Ella watched with a smirk as her assault platoon hefted the last of the metallic crates to the front of the gigantic skull. The megaprimate watched the small band as they carried out their task, nodding with a sense of approval as the last of the crates had been laid out. "As per our agreement, here is your payment: all the crates of bananas we dug up during our little battle on the island. Thank you for your cooperation, sir Ape." Ella managed a salute and a bow before turning away, joining her awaiting bodyguard.

One of the assault mooks that had been attached to Ella's command blinked as the Field Officer passed him. "That...that just happened."

"I know, right?" Ella turned her head, singling out the trooper with her Eye. "I didn't think he would accept our terms, either."

"We just...and he...how?"

Ella could only grin. "Ain't diplomacy grand?
"Hey medics... little help would be nice, unless you think not being able to bring back the dead is enough of an excuse to not do your other duties..." *cough* *cough*
The Pilot and Mechanic poke their heads out of the Vengeful's hatch, covered in sweat and grime and survey the carnage. The Pilot's eyes catch on the giant ape, uneasily pacing near the skull on his half of the island. Mech sees them lock eyes for a moment, before Pilot breaks eye contact and does a bow from the tank. He turns back to her.

"Damn, I really wanted a piece of that monkey."
"You killed two virtually extinct dinosaurs, wasn't that enough for you?"
His eyes wander back to Kong.
"But look at how big he is! Finally find something that might take a full barrage from the Venge," he pats the tank's hull lovingly, "And we decide we're gonna make -friends- with it." He sighs heavily. They both sit in silence for a moment.
"You're jealous you didn't make friends with the monkey first, aren't you."
They both turned to take in the jungle sky-isle again.

"... Sure beats the snot out of prison."
"... Yep."
"Think She'll tell anyone?"
The Pilot shrugged.
"I doubt it, but after what I've seen..." he ran his hand over his, sighing again. "I don't know how much I care anymore."
The words barely left his mouth before the whipcrack of Mech's hand contacting his face echoed through the jungle.
"OW, mutherfuk--"
"Oh shut up you baby. We owe this to Vilkas. As long as we're more use alive than dead, we owe it to him to go on living." Pilot turned solemn.
"You know, I don't think he knows how far we'll follow him. How much we'd give to see his dreams fulfilled..."
"... It's best that way."
The Pilot just nodded.
"Whoo, that was a doozy. Choppy weather we were having."
"You said it, Lennox."
"It's too bad that we lost our prospective bassist, oboe player and flutist, though."
"Willie, Markov and Roy. May you rest in peace a second time."
"Anyways, that was a wild ride, right, chaps?"
"Damn right. Now we got Jensen, Mordred and Johanssen. We can go big band now!"
"Oh yeah! Skelechopper Squadron will ride again in the future!"
"By the way... Von Claude had us return the choppers. Said that they're supposed to go on maintenance, and that our ranks prevent from commandeering them into future battles."
A dejected awwwww was heard resonating across the base.

"So, what do you guys plan to do?"
"I heard they're making a mess hall in South Zanzibarland. Let's make a song, and perform it there!"
"A song? Hmmm... I may have some titles ready."

Jimmies Softly Rustling in the Wind
Ride of the Skelechoppers
Jungle Boogie (I Like to Move It)
Gorilla and Banana
Prehistoric Rock

"What do you think guys?"
"I don't know... they lack that... something."
"I think it needs to be a little more... humerus."
A great clacking and cackling is heard all over the base.

"Medics, is it possible to reattach Second Lieutenant von Claude's severed left arm?"

>medics attempt field surgery - reattachment of a severed limb
so did this get archived?
Hard to say, since the suptg archives are having trouble with the new 4chan update, but it should be on that other archive, easymodo or whatever for sure.

It should be, now.
>Alright, let's try this again--without typos!

Abby was growing nervous. Everything had just gone sideways after those...things charged at them. She didn't see where Oleg had gone, and she was pretty sure she had seen Ella knocked back out into the treeline while she was knocked flat on her ass. Not two minutes after she had gotten herself up, she was grabbed by that white-haired girl and became part of the crew for a two-barrelled warmachine--loading shells, adjusting the turret, aligning the crosshairs. The interior of the tank was simply noise--thunder given shape and form. If the engine wasn't roaring, the cannons were; if the cannons were silent, the pale-haired woman was barking out orders. There was a view-slit to the outside, but the didn't bother looking out of it after the last time--she was pretty sure that that gigantic flail apparatus was mulching what was once a dead dino the last time she looked out.

Her ears were ringing. She had peeled off the upper half of her armor, her tanktop was drenched in sweat. Black hair, normally kept in place with a grey headband, was shaped into a messy ponytail, an errant strand plastered to her forehead. She needed fresh air. She couldn't hear anything that was going on outside. She needed fresh air. Her best friend was probably dead. She needed fresh air. Abilene wasn't sure whether or not she was having a nervous breakdown or a panic attack; the thought of breaking down screaming was the last thing on Abby's mind as she popped open the hatch of the tank and clambered out, armored from the waist down and with her machine gun strapped across her back.

The cool night air made her skin shiver in delight. Her ears were still ringing but it looked like, for the most part, the battle had been one--smoldering piles of dead bodies everywhere and a crater-pocked landscape. She took a long inhale, enjoying the outside air. “Fresh air,” she exhaled, clambering out of the hatch and hopping onto the ground. She stretched, getting the cricks out of her back and arms. Abby was pretty sure that her fingers were bruised and that she'd be losing a nail by the end of the week. She puffed an errant strand of hair away from her face, looking toward the massive skull that dominated the Zanzibarland landscape. It was the first time she had gotten an actual, detailed look at the, the bone bleached white as porcelain. Each tooth looked to be larger than two men across, the eye sockets alone could have housed a tank. “If the skull was this big,” Abby marveled, “I would've hated to have seen the rest of this thing.” She sighed again. 'I just wish I had my camera with me right now. There's no way that the—'

Her thoughts stopped as she thought she saw a form move across the dirt road to her right. “Is that—?” She ran to an overlooking ledge, peering down. She knew that short hairstyle from anywhere. Abby grinned, sprinting as fast as her legs could carry her.

Ella could only grin at the assault rifleman she had singled out. “Ain't diplomacy grand?”

She didn't have enough time to notice the blue of white and red appear from the ledge beside her. The blur crashed into her at full force, sending her toppling to the ground and knocking the beret from her head. The troops around her, notably startled, the assault troops jumping back a step as the vulcans brought their heavy guns to bear—

To find their Field Officer not being mauled, not being ripped apart, simply crushed by some half-armored woman lying on top of her.

Abby was half laughing, half crying as continued to dominate Ella. “I—I'm so sorry,” she giggle-sobbed. “It was so fast—and I thought you were—and Oleg got—”

“Abby.” Ella said.

“It wasn't my fault! I—I couldn't see—and the dinosaurs were goddamn everywhere and I thought you were gone and—”

“And I was thinkin've what I was gonna say to your mom and dad and what would happen to me and it was crazy and I was being stupid and—”

“Abilene. Danette. Tomas!” Ella's rising voice was accompanied by a sharp slap, raising Abby out of her breakdown. Ella's hazel eyes met Abby's blue. “I'm sorry for that.” Ella began, her hand reaching upward to brush and loose bang out of Abby's eyes. “I'm sorry that you had to go through the entire battle without me. After the tri's bumrushed us, we got scattered. Oleg got the worst of it and I got knocked back pretty far. When I saw Alfie's tank pull up right by you, I knew you were gonna be safe.” Ella held her hand on Abilene's cheek. “Don't think I don't care for you. But that metal box was a lot safer than being on the ground. Got pretty nasty—damn dinos saw to that.”

Abby was shocked. She started to smile before breaking into a new round of tears. She buried her face into Ella's neck. “I'm sorry.” She was shaking. “I'm just—I'm sorry, alright? I—”

“It's okay.” Ella wrapped her right arm around her friend. “I know.” Ella let out a tired smile and looked toward the sky. She then realized that she had been watched this entire time by her remaining contingent of 3 vulcans and five assault riflemen. She sighed, still smiling as she turned to the closest vulcan. “We're fine, fellas. Just some post-battle field therapy.” The soldiers noted their officer's order, lowering their weapons.

“Uhm, ma'am?” One of the vulcans inquired. “Should we just—”

“Just—just give me a bit of time, okay? Go crack open those C-rats and relax—you've earned it, boys.”

“Y—yes, ma'am.” The vulcan motioned to the soldiers to move out, the group of eight soldiers walking back to the rally point.

Ella leaned her head back, looking back toward the sky. “Abby?”

“As much as I love being covered by your sweaty, smelly body right now, would you kindly get off of me?”

“O-oh. Right.” Abby managed to peel herself off of Ella's body, allowing Ella to sit up on the ground. “Sorry.”

“Hey—don't apologize.” Ella smiled. “I woulda been all up in arms over you if I didn't see you get snatched up to be used in that metal box.” Ella reached into her pocket for her cigarettes, but couldn't find it. “Aw, sonnuva—did it get knocked out during the—”

“I got it.” Abby dug in the pouches assorted on her belt, drawing out a worn carton of cigarettes and a lighter. She dug out two of the white rolls of paper before flicking open the lighter. The two of them shared a brief silence. The cigarettes tasted good, the hot smoke feeling warm against their insides against the cool air.

“So what's she like?” Ella said, flicking the built-up ash from the end of her cigarette.

“The tank girl.” Ella inhaled. “You know, Alfie—the white-haired chick.”

Abby giggled. “Oh, her. You would *not* believe just how she can get when she's in the zone..."
Friendly bump.

>Declare war on the sun

Oh, what could possibly go wrong? It's not like he's going to try blotting out the sky with super dense nuclear cloud cover.
rolled 7, 9 = 16

>Declares war on the sun
That's not a bad idea, if we could somehow keep the cloud over only our enemies and deny /them/ the sun...
rolled 1 = 1

>attempt to draw away all of the sun's power

Evil orb of nuclear fire
For too long you've drawn our ire
Get thee gone, or you shall see,
How we deal with enemies.

...oh Lord what just happened.

Uhm...yeah, no. Who do we phone in Command to tell them about unathorized personnel firing off ordnance?
Well, if nothing's gonna be happening, I suppose I can dole out my xp.

>Place 30 xp toward upgrading MOTOR POOL
>Place 25 xp toward WHAT HAS SCIENCE WROUGHT
No ordinance was fired, new-friend. If you'll note, the attack was actually magical in nature. The stargazer invoked the sun's power against itself, and then rolled a crit. Suffice to say that he may have just divided by zero.

Stargazer: I salute you.

And what of the "General"?
Shit how did I even live through that one.

> 47 Exp
> + 60 from previous

107 to burn. Here's hoping Gold nitro is what I think it is !
bump before sleep

>+26 from phases
>+20 from megasaurus
>+5 for truce
>+22 from kills/assists

That should come out to 73 exp.
I'm not sure how much EXP I do have.

I know its at least 25, and I didn't die in the previous part but wasn't there for the second. And I am pretty sure I turned at least one group of people into paste

Soooo, roughly 35-40 Exp?
>+24 survival
>+20 from megasaurus
>+5 for truce
>+3 from kills or assists
> 26 remaining from previous mission

>Total= 78 xp

>Put 60 into What has Science Wrought?

>18 xp remaining
Well, if we're adding the additional 25 from the truce and the megasauroid to our tallies, That boosts the initial 55xp I had to 80. So, overall:

>Dump 30 XP to upgrading the MOTOR POOL
bamp before class

You're gonna need to tally up your kills on your own. EVERY. SINGLE. ONE.
Tallying up...

>12 exp leftover
>24 exp survival
>20 exp megasaurus assist
>3 exp mantis/locusts
>2 exp raptors
>3 exp griffon
= 64 exp

Hmm... what to spend it on...
Ah yeah, forgot something.
>5 exp for Kong truce

69 exp to spend... how naughty.

Well...is there anything of pressing importance we need right now?
>26 XP from survival
>17 XP from Kills/Assists

>43 XP not counting Megasaurus, Megaprimate; 68 with

I think I'll save this for when we see what L3 Motorpool unlocks for us. For those who want to spend their XP immediately, I suggest either purchasing Pumas (open-top transport vehicles) or the toolbox for ironkits (allows creation of utility structures, such as ladders/fortifications etc.)
I have absolutely no idea. I could spend it on Most Dangerous Game, Bring it Down, or Punch Snout, Assert Dominance. Or I could get the Newts. Which one is it?
