Nah, I think Requisitions already claimed that one
Let's try to keep our recruitment to the deceased or those that are not key figures in the canon. Some of those are good suggestions, HOWEVER..
We don't need them yet, or a CAG. We need to decide on more craft before we need much more help ordering them around. Right now we have two large craft (Oncoming Storm, Relentless), a handful of smaller craft (Indefatigable, dropships), and two fighter squadrons (VF-25s, TIE/Defenders).
When we return, we'll be adding another large craft and a superhuge craft. At the moment we've be discussing adding more VF-25s and some VB-6s, along with a Neo Gotengo, Macross Quarter, and more Al'kesh.
With those numbers, Admiral Pelleon and ANON's tactical upgrade can easily coordinate our space forces. We need to talk about more units before we can talk about needing additional heroes to coordinate them.
Well, not counting the SSD itself. We killed the bridge crew on that one and the ISD, we may want to consider the suggestion of grabbing the bridge crew from the SDF-1 of the Robotech canon before it's destruction. Considering the sheer size and firepower of the craft, giving it a heroic bridge crew might be the best idea, considering that it didn't come with it's own.
Then Henry Gloval and the Bridge Bunnies can run the ship, while Pelleon runs the fleet. Eventually, when we have enough fighters to warrant it, we can bring in Roy Fokker (Robotech version served as CAG as well as Skull Squadron leader). Has the fate of the Megaroad-01 ever been determined? If not, I lean heavily against trying to grab the Ichijyos, as the effects on their canon are unknown. The Hunters are also out, as they've been playing an ongoing command role in their own continuity.
