Readying the only item we have that can double as a sap, our bobble-head alien, we rush into the room and attempt to bash in the head of the closest Terran.
The bobble strikes true, smashing squarely between a gray-haired man's eyes. He stumbles into a corner, dazed and injured, as we grapple with the other Terran. The young, fire-eyed man has managed to get a firearm loose from his side, and we struggle to keep it aimed away from us.
As we struggle, our infested Terran's proboscis extends, like a giant, bloated amber-colored tongue, toward the young man's face. The pistol goes off, and we hear a ricochet and a cry of pain as the bullet fires wide, bounces off of the walls, and imbeds itself into the flesh of the older man.
We see terror in the young man's face as the proboscis latches onto the first opening it finds (by chance, his left eye), and begins pumping its vile spores into him. After a few minutes of this, his body begins convulsing with the infestation, and we release it to its labors.
We turn toward the old man, his face a mask of terror and pain. It will be a few moments before our agent is ready to release another load of spores. Shall we speak to this human?
