(Awesome! A choice is made!)
We guide a second overlord into the atmosphere of Dufay as the first overlord makes its way to the massive engines moving the planet. Just before its cloak runs out, it burns up without a trace. Just as planned. As long as we don't screw anything up, we can keep this up indefinitely (despite Accountantbrate's protests, "THE EXPENSE!" is not all that bad).
Meanwhile, in the Aleman system, our scourge disable the engines of the courier ships, leaving them dead in space while we storm the space station. Despite our massive aerospace losses, Warbrate is confident with our remaining ground forces. We swarm into the structure, slaughtering every cyborg and android we come across. The process is long and arduous, but after merely a few hours (and eight overlords), the station is ours. As soon as the last combat machine falls, VoidGate's background communication signal amplifies substantially for a few moments, and the station goes quiet. The power shuts off. All the screens go blank. All the lights go black.
(NEXT WEEK, find out whether Cyberbrate can do the job we created it for, or if we sent an innocent cerebrate to its death! Deal with Dufay, VoidGate's runaway planet! Contemplate Brullant, the final stronghold in the malicious AI's inventory! Maybe get some kind of door prize for 40 threads or something!)
