    Judging from this situation, I'd suggest it be high time to get out. But we should at least bloody their noses a bit more before fleeing. So here's my suggestions:

    [I1] should move to intercept those void missiles.

    [B1] and [B2] are likely lost causes. If possible, either act as shields against those void missiles, or ram that unique ship and DODing upon contact.

    Cruisers can go focus fire on those things that just shot those super lasers.

    And someone should go bot [P1] and have them do something useful.

    Too late; the Mothership already fired on the Black Flag battleship. Walker doubted that he'd be able to repair relations between the Black Flag and Bravo, not without leaving someone to hang. He would have to sit down with the Rear Admiral about this; especially after making it clear to Ezerakaia that he would not tolerate any form of backstabbing.

    On one hand, he wouldn't have to pay them.

    On the other hand, the invasionary forces no longer had an experienced ally to count on in the upcoming naval fight.

    Turn 2 should have been seeing some signs of escape.
    These ships are slow and cumbersome and once drif takes effect you'll just be sucked in no matter what.

    Not only that we probably should have settled with the arrays getting destroyed as well as one or two high prized targets and nothing more. As soon as the enemy repositioned we're pretty much in a straight battle of numbers at that point.

    One of the problems we seem to have is pilots picking vehicles or classes that are not well-suited for a mission.

    So I would like to know how people would respond to being asked to pilot a different vehicle and/or class than the one they've picked.

    Simply because having three battleships is not a good tactic, as we loose points when ships are destroyed; not when they are deployed. Thus our naval assets being at a balance of -50 points at the moment.

    Also, it should be known that we're going to bar access to battleships until we can figure them out (as well as build up the points to pay for them and whatnot), and that generally, new players are not allowed to pick cruisers.

    I suppose you're right; they did a fuckton of damage with their initial volley. In fact, I think most of the enemy casualties were the result of the 3 battleships.

    It's probably a difference in tactical philosophies; I prefer the use of minimal force in our applications.


    Right, well, I might as well get to doing this, seeing as Geist was giving me shit for it. While I don't have an official number yet, estimates for the ground section of Bravo should be around the 275~300 range.

    Let's see... ended the Femto mission with 208 points, picked up a 20 from an NCA, spent 34 in our time travel fight, awarded 100 later to put us at 294 points. There were a few other point expenditure/gains that I need to tally from NCA's.

    So let's see... subtracting the 50 point loss, we end up with at least 244 for both forces. Reserving 100 points for "in case of emergency" situations, that leaves us with 144 to spend.

    Alright, so I'm going to go ahead and foot the bill for this one. I'll allocate the points so we end up with:

    120 for Naval
    24 for Ground (100 in reserve)

    This is all pending review of additional costs/gains made by NCA.

    Don't blow it again, King. And really, you do know that it's entirely possible to send messages to me in AIM when I'm not on? You had at least 2 weeks to spam me with "Walker, send points to Naval so we can field a fuckton of shit in the final battle." And FYI, I log my AIM conversations, so proving whether I ignored any of your attempts over AIM to get more points should be rather easy.

    Because the guys were kind of bugging me about it, and hell, why the hell not? I guess it'd allow us to use the full capacity of a cruiser without needing six more players to run the guns.

    Right, roll to automate our naval assets, specifically the gun turrets, with AI, maybe even the Algorhymes, so a ship commander can use the homing function of his turrets and fire them while flying the ship.

    Blaze wasn't satisfied with the way things had gone at the compound he and Charlie had found. They'd only done enough of a search to confirm that there was no one left alive there, and that it was the result of a xeno attack. Well, since Walker had come back, they knew it was just because it'd been abandoned. He couldn't count on it, but maybe they'd left something useful behind in their rush. He requisitioned a few scout droids and caught a transport down to the surface to look over it once more. At the same time, he called a contact in Charlie to see if they had found anything, and if they could spare some points from what'd been found.
