    Lets Set up your Franchise.

    There are Currently 3 Locations in your Price Range to set up Shop.

    1.The Old 1st 3rd Bank.
    This Building was constructed in the 1920s, and still has its original underground Vault in the basement. Its old and made of heavy Stone, It features 3 floors total, Basement, 1st floor which served as the Lobby, and office space, and the 2nd floor which was mainly office space.
    Pros: It not too far from central Downtown PineBox
    Cons: It will be difficult and expensive to modify this
    building due to its age.

    2. The Old 6th Hook and Ladder Firehouse, just like the orginal office seen in the now famous GB Documentary. Downside, Its a shithole and needs major renovation.
    Pros: A firehouse just like the big boys.
    Cons: Its about to fall down.

    3. A Very large fallout shelter built in the 60s for the local city government. It has never been used, and smells like mold and Dust. The above ground structure was used a small city parking garage, and takes up a good chunk of space, you could easily fit 4 fire trucks inside.

    Pros: Its a Bomb Shelter. How cool is that. a hydroponics room, a pool, plenty of storage, a workshop, game room, sleeping arangements. Private
    Above ground parking.
    Cons: The City wants to sell it cheap, about 1/3rd of
    what they should be selling it for. Somethings not right here.

    Bzzzz, you do not roll for Stats Silly. This is a point system. You have 12 dice or points to spend on your 4 stats. No fewer then 1 point/dice per stat, and no higher then 5.

    Your 1 Talent per Stat lets you roll an Extra 3 dice.

    So if I have moves 2, and a talent for shooting, I would roll 5 Dice to shoot things. but just 2 dice to dodge things.

    As for the containment unit, I suggest clearing out the Pool Room (13) and putting it there. It's not like we're gonna use it much.

    We could use the Pool Chemical Storage (12) room to store the charging ghost traps, maybe the proton packs. Although we already have the parts storage and the work shop. But I would like to have them close to the living area in case of an emergency.

    You Press the Button to call the Elevator, it arrives in just as you are about to push the call button a 4th time.

    The Doors creek open, but lock up about half way, the light inside the elevator itself flickers periodically. It smells dusty and old in here... you can pick up the scent of long ago burnt plastic.

    Abraham Abraham looks over to you, and shrugs... he steps forward and is able to force the doors a little more, enough for you and he to slide in with your packs on.

    Once inside, there is only and Up and Down button.
    You press the down button, and before the doors manage to fully close the Elevator jerks to life and begins descending. This causes the lights to stop flickering and go in to Rave mode. Butterflies in your stomach are likely the least of your worries.

    The 2d6 is Similar to the LegoQuest 1d12, for suggested actions, to see which one we go with.

    Abraham Abraham kicks the door open, Walter rushes in Proton Pack Hot, and ready to go. Abraham Abraham right on his heels. The Sudden light blinds them both for a moment, Most of the Lights above the plant trays are working, and putting out a good deal of light.

    Theres no sign of motion or anything to really shoot at, Water was so gunho that he knocked over a plant stand on his way in. The Northern most tray in the room.

    Taking a moment to examine the scene once their eyes adjust reveals some strange things.

    All of the trays have plants growing in them, Some edible, others more like stunted little shrubs and even a tiny Tree in one tray. What stands out most however are the 2 separate nests.

    One nest, is nice and tidy, made of wire and screws, and some twigs here and there. Its very orderly, various components of flashlights, Geiger counters and even what looks like the heating element from a toaster are in there.

    The other nest, which is as far from the former nest as it can possibly be is a mess, its filled with what could only be described as oily shit, broken bulbs, sharp and jagged bits of torn metal, and a few mouse and rat skeletons.

    Abraham Abraham mentions that the goggles are finally picking something up, the nests and the area around them look hot, like seeing something warm under an infrared camera, this Prompts You, to give both nests a go with the PKE Meter, and you find the highest residual PKE Energy so far. Whatever is down here spend a lot of time in these nests.

    Walter and Abraham once again rush boldly in the breach, Warfaces both on.

    The Kitchen is mostly a bloody mess, but with no blood. It looks like someone tried to cook here, but had never really seen or eaten food before, and only read about food in a book. Old pot and pans line the sink, with fire blackened bottoms, the remnants of poorly made and now rock hard and moldy cake attempts line the counters.

    Suddenly a shuffle and a clang bring you to attention,
    The old School Microwave door just closed, and the heavy oven door just slammed shut.

    The heating unit from the toaster in the nice nest actually works, its being powered by a few old batteries, and some small flashlight bulbs come on inside the nest if you touch the contacts to activate it.

    You reach over slowly a open the old school microwave oven, but it seems you werent sneaky enough, the door bursts open, and a grey blur rushes out, Less then a breath after that Small gray blur streaks out, and down to the floor, the oven door bursts open and a Green something not unlike the what is seen in the pic to the left appeas, hissing and snarling.

    Walter takes a sudden step back when the grey streak rushes out, giving Abraham Abraham a clear line of fire on the green thing.

    Its doesn't work exactly like that. These sorts of creatures tend to take on the the forms we expect, as human culture changes, they tend to adapt with it, and over time changing their forms.     Abraham Abraham nods to Walter, and unhooks a trap from his belt, and slides it on the floor, just in front and just past where the oven door opens.

    Walter does a silent count to 3, and swings the oven door open.

    Abraham Abraham, once again nails the Gremlin in the chest, but this time manages to keep the particle stream on it.

    The Gremlin screams, a few of the glasses in the kitchen shatter, Walter is able to get his beam on the critter as well, since Abraham Abraham has it so firmly grappled with his particle stream.

    The Gremlin fights and struggles but its really no use, both ghostbusters are able to walk backwards slowly until the beams pull it all the way out of the Oven, Abraham Abraham steps on the traps activation peddle and, suddenly a blinding white light shoots out of the trap. A moment or two later of struggling and the gremlin is sucked in to the negative PKE Vacuum of the Trap.

    It closes, theres an electrical sizzle, the trap jitters once or twice, but then... silence only interrupted a few moments latter by the Trap Secure beeping.

    The Streams around a ghost generally don't cross because they are are both largely made of protons which repel each other, Its actually more difficult then you think to cross the streams since hey repel each other. Remember in the GB movie, they had to pretty much force the tips of each neutrino wand together in order to cross them.

    Its Semi Canon, and Yes, those things could be available if you have the time and cash to research them, or the outright cash to buy them from the franchise HQ itself.

    Even in 2011, its sketchy, Normal photography, and such still pick up ghosts as fuzzy blobs. For the most part, the public is still skeptical, There are only 13 official GH franchises across the entire USA.

    There are however some competitors starting to pop up. GBI is currently involved in legal actions against them. The Rival Companies are InSpecter, and ExorSystems. Its even rumored the US Government has its own Secret Ghostbusting Branch.

    Yes, but you have to have kissed someones ass really really good to get just the blueprints.

    There is nothing to say you cant, in fact you can buy a tripod mount to put a trap on, up to 4ft off the ground, and swivel it 360 degrees. That attachment is 39.99 per trap. You likely wouldn't want to be holding it with your bare hands, Nasty static discharge while its open, not to mention your partners are likely whiping around a ghost surrounded by hot charged protons. Protons, while your holding a highly PKE Negatively charged Box... so not impossible, just not very safe.

    This was actually brought up a few time in the cartoon, Egon and Ray were actively looking for a solution... One idea is to dump them back in to the spirit world, or some random dimension this had limited success. A stop gap measure was to add on additional storage to the containment unit.

    One of the ideas that Im using is co-opted from the D20 ItsGhostBusters_butWeCouldn'tAfford the rights to uses the name game called Exorsystems, There is a Special Subterranean storage facility in the deep desert, specifically picked because of its low seismic and supernatural activity. When your containment unit begins to get full you can call the GBI HQ, and set up a Containment Unit Transfer.

    The Exorsystem Book the idea is from has suggestions for a Post Apoc Ghostbusters game, where the world is a demon and monster tormented wasteland, and the players come across this deep desert facitility and the equipment inside, and use it as a base to strike back at the supernatural horrors that now fill the world.
