rolled 4, 3 + 6 = 13
(So after a while, game finally beginning. As in the OP, new and old gods very welcome, only about 4 at the moment)
Wend looked above his domain, and was pleased. Across the land, the mortals respected him. out of love or fear, it mattered not. His domain and he were respected, and it was all that mattered.
That was until an outsider god, one perhaps more ancient than he, set upon the world a new race. the Norii. These snake men did not know his name, did not respect it. not only that, they were a coastal race!
This would not stand.
One day, the Norii's land felt a terrible rumbling. the sea grew great tides.
Wend rose from the sea.
Clad in a figure he found similar to them just enough to be frightening, he rose and towered above them from his domain.
"Know me, young ones. Know me and tremble. I am Wend! The sea and I are as one. If you wish your race's lives to be long, you shall respect me. Fear me, love me, I care not. Merely heed my words."
And his words were heeded. Through the coastal tribes of the snakemen the word was spread, the sea was powerful. Sacrifices were set up, appeasements for the use of the sea.
Once more Wend was appeased.
